It tasted a lot like the masala chai that can be ordered here, so I didn't see the point of putting it in a different package, under a different name.
Warming Ceylon black tea with fresh, cozy spices and orange. Zesty with a sweet finish.

It tasted a lot like the masala chai that can be ordered here, so I didn't see the point of putting it in a different package, under a different name.
This tea smells like the best holiday candle or potpourri ever. It's such a lovely blend. The cinnamon and orange come through so well. It would be the perfect tea for cozying up in front of a fire on a snowy day.
I was not impressed by this tea. It wasn't bad, but the second steeping left me wondering where all the flavor was. The hue of the tea was noticeably different by the second steeping as well. To that end, if you were looking for a tea to invoke holiday memories or put you in the holiday spirit, this will not do it for you. It is very weak. I would suggest trying a more traditional masala tea instead.
adagio's christmas tea was a present for my taste buds even my baby brother enjoyed it.
I am really loving this Christmas tea. I took a leap of faith and ordered 3oz without having tried a sampler first, and I don't regret it at all. It's not an overly spicey tea, but it is quite delicious. The clove, orange, and cinnamon all come through just the right amount. It reminds me a bit of Constant Comment (though I have to say, I think I prefer this Christmas tea, despite being a long time Constant Comment lover.) I will definitely be re-ordering this when I run out.
This is good for in the winter, like its name suggests. It's a great blend of all the spices I normally add into everything I find myself baking in the cold seasons. If you like spice cake or gingerbread, try this tea.
It was alright but there are other spice heavy blends that I enjoy more
I always need a strong tea, and I always put a lot of sugar in mine. This one is fabulous-- it has just enough flavor to not be over powering, but it's also reminiscent of the holidays. The touch of spice and orange make it perfect.
Not the Christmas taste I was expecting, but it definately had a Christmas taste. You can taste all the flavors, but it is more of a jumbled mess of flavors instead of each flavor standing out, normally one or two stand out and the rest are bunched together. That of course does not make the tea bad, it only means if you're looking for a tea where you can taste all the ingredients, this probably isn't it. Otherwise great tea!
It's has some spicy notes to it. I would not say that it reminds me of Christmas. If you really want a Christmas tea, try candy apple.
Its Christmas in a cup, there is no other explanation needed. Tastes amazing.
I bought some of this as a gift for the family, and they all seem to enjoy it.
I really liked this tea. Nice spice and made me feel ready for the holidays.
Perfect for the holidays, especially with a little bit of sugar and milk.
Just received this Christmas tea last night. I am enjoying a cup while I prepare for Thanksgiving tomorrow. It's a warm and spicy tea, but not overly spicy like a chai. It's a really smooth tea that I think is perfect for cool weather, as an accompaniment to dessert, and the holidays. I think my guests will really like it. I ordered a sample but will definitely buy more to have in the house for the holidays. It's a nice treat.
Tastes like candied yams, strangely. I couldn't taste any cinnamon. The orange peels and clove overpower it.
I've been eating a lot of spicy cookies this season so it might just grow on me. A cinnamon stick could perk it up.
This is an AMAZING tea. The smell when you open the bag is almost overpowering, but in the best way possible. Though the flavor is not quite as strong as its aroma, this is still a great tea for the holidays.
I wasn't really sure what to expect with this tea, but I was pleasantly surprised. Just the right amount of spice, and perfect for the holiday season!
I ordered the largest size available based on the rave reviews. No matter what I do: brew less, add more sugar, add my own spices, I can NOT save this tea. It is terribly bitter!!! I am so sad as I had hoped to make this for our large family gathering. This is the first tea I have ever disliked from Adagio.
Smells just like the holidays with cinnamon wreaths, cloves and all the warmness of a delicious cup of tea!
Not as cinnamon-y as I would like, but then again my tastes are different than most when it comes to that. Altogether very pleasant and warming.
i might not have let it steep long enough, but this tea didn't have a very strong 'christmas' flavor
Will be drinking this through the holidays. Love a good spicy tea.
this was a gift for my boyfriend and he loves it. it's delightfully seasonal.
Delicious, warm, and inviting! I don't know if it speaks 'Christmas' to me, but it certainly makes me look forward to winter so I can get away with drinking more of it! The only problem I have so far is that I didn't order enough!
First off, the smell from the bag was overwhelming of clove to me and I almost didn't want to try it, but when brewed it's perfect. Really does taste like the holidays. Spicy, a little fruity, and warm. Great black.
This one is great! It tastes like Christmas time! It's a deep flavor and you can taste each flavor. Don't let it seep for too long though, can get a little bitter!
in order of the flavors you taste ist Cloves Cinnamon Orange, I was hoping for the complete reverse but its still pretty good
Tastes like christmas. Comforting and spicy. Used recommended timeandtemp.
I like the flavors of christmas like cloves, orange, cardamon, you will like this if you like spices
Not quite as Christmassy as I would have liked...
It smells like Christmas, and it tastes like Christmas! Very spicy and while not my everyday cup, it's something I'd definitely want to drink around this time of the year.
Well it has a nice mellow taste not alot of 'mint' just enough !!
This tea is way too spicy for me. If you like spice and chai, this is the tea for you.
The best smelling tea and not bad tasting either. Wish it came in decaf.
Cloves with orange peel dominate the scent of this tea. During brewing, the scent mellows into the pleasing aroma of mulling spices, and the cloves leave your mouth tingling pleasantly long after you've finished your cup.
A nice holiday peppermint tea, the notes of orange and chocolate are very faint, sometimes I had trouble tasting them at all, but maybe I just need to play around with the steep time.
The smell reminds me of baking at Christmas time.
First of all, the description is a lie. There is nothing orangey about this flavor. I'll admit, I was a expecting something more like Oriental Spice with a piney, minty or extra gingery note. This is more like a chai, IMHO. I will stick to Oriental Spice mixed with Pu-erh Spice for my 'Christmas' blend, thankyaverymuch.
I love this tea. It smells like christmas when its brewing. Its got a wonderfully spice flavor.
Christmas is good. All the deep robust spice and smell. Verry bold and so is the taste.
i bought a sample of this, and at first i had a bit of a hard time telling this apart from the oriental spice tea i bought. But i played around with the steep time a little and then I finally tasted the difference lol. I just wish it was a little more spiced-citrusy tasting, but i can just mix my own blend with this and get what i'm looking for. All in all, a good tea, especially since it's getting colder outside. ^.^
This tea was great. It has great flavor. I tend to prefer chai teas, and this tastes a bit like that.
It actually smells and tast like how Christmas should.
Just like everyone else is saying, it really does taste like Christmas in a cup. This has a lot of my favorite things in it like cloves. The scent fill you, and the brew is so warm. I highly suggest this blend.
A very pleasant, spicy cold weather treat! Warm and delicious. I tried it today with Splenda and a bit of sweet cream, but I think I may prefer Splenda and milk instead. I should think this would also blend beautifully with a nice cream black.
What can i say.. It smells just like christmas should.. I am not normally a flavored tea person but this is very yummy on a cold winter day..
This is a great spicy blend! It tastes like Christmas, and will be a great gift!
Quite Christmasy, but rather mild and not as spicy as I would like.
This is a tasty tea. It is similar to the chai, but with an orange flavor.
