I brewed an entire pot of this the other day, and I'm in LOVE! Such a smooth mouth feel, it has a great cookie-ish aftertaste. It's smooth, dark and goes fantastic with a shot of milk. I'm going to be buying MORE.
Dark chocolate chips melt into our citrusy Ceylon black tea for the ultimate treat. Dense and soft chocolate flavor.

I resisted this tea for a long time, feeling skeptical of chocolate-heavy tea. On its own this is a little bit too decadent for me, but it's a bold black tea with rich chocolate sweetness. I don't put milk in my tea, but this might be a great hot chocolate lat-e alternative. Ultimately I got this sample so I can try the flavor in blending, and I think that's where this will really shine.
This is a wonderful tea. I originally purchased this as part of the 'Sweet Tooth' sampler set, and immediately knew I had to have a larger bag! It's delicious on its own, but like the other teas from the 'Sweet Tooth' sampler, I love it even more when used in combination with other teas! I like to brew up a little of this with my other favorites, like Peppermint, Marsala Chai, etc. Absolutely wonderful. This is going to be a staple in my tea cabinet!
Chocolate tea is one of my favorites to drink alone, and this tea was no exception. A little splash of milk and a dash of sugar and it's perfect. I think this tea is a fantastic choice for blends that need a little bit of chocolate in them.
This is a very tasty dessert tea that works goes fine with lunch and dinner too. It smells almost too sweet, but has a more rounded taste. It is still rather sweet. This does not resteep terribly well and is a fairly simple flavor. if you are looking for a darker chocolate flavor, then I may recommend trying something else. However, if you want a sweet chocolate tea or something to blend with other teas (this blends very nicely with mint/herbal teas!), this is a good option.
By the way, by my experience, this tea tastes noticeably better if steeped for 2.5 minutes, rather than 3.
Amazingly smooth tea. I added a tad of frothed milk and a bit of sugar.
I bought this tea thinking it would help me replace my chocolate cravings as I reduce my sugar intake. While I did not find this tea 'sweet' in any way, I will say it definitely has a chocolately taste, which doesn't really curb my sweet cravings at all. I'd rather have a cup of peppermint tea with honey or foxtrot with a little vanilla bean paste. Much sweeter and more satisfying for this little sugar lover. I just didn't get a memorable taste from this tea, so I will not be adding it to my regular repertoire.
Flavor was okay, but the chocolate chips looked old. :( Will probably get again though, good used as a mixer
mmmmm chocolate - but I think I may prefer a sweeter version to the black tea w/chocolate
Not what I thought it would be... I've tried adding milk and just water. Didn't have a pleasing taste either times, also tried adding chocolate flavor tea
Flavor is not so pronounced, needs to be stronger on the chocolate chip side.
The flavour does not overwhelm. Certainly a calming treat!
This tea is good it's very smooth I like to add a little creme to bring out the chocolate flavor
I'm trying to lose weight and this tea really helps with my sweet cravings and no calories! Winner!
Great tea, sweet, not bitter, good flavor, just enough chocolate
This is a wonderful tea for winter. The real chocolate chips are a real bonus. Add milk for an added treat.
Finally! A chocolate tea that tastes like chocolate. Great for mixing with other flavors, too. I wish I had gotten a larger package of this one.
I love chocolate, and I love tea. How can you NOT love something that marries the two? It is like happiness in a cup. Best with cream.
Nice chocolate flavor for an afternoon tea a hint of mint would make perfect.
This tea was just okay to me. I prepared it with milk and sugar. I did not find it as flavorful as many of the other teas I have purchased.
Less chocolaty and more cinnamon than I would have thought, but tasty. Good for blends or if wanting a black tea with a little bit more bite.
great chocolate taste, what's not to like, its CHOCOLATE! You can have chocolate without the calories!
I couldn't taste the chocolate in this tea at all and I found it to be quite bitter even after trying multiple different cups, ended up giving it away to someone else for them to try. They didn't like it either.
I got this as a sample, and I was very curious about the taste of a chocolate tea. I noted that there were bits of chocolate in it, but I wished had come through in a stronger way. There were hints of chocolate, but it was very light.
One of my all-time favorites! I never thought that I would enjoy a chocolate tea, but this one is amazing. A great treat, or rich enough as a coffee replacement of sorts. Add sugar and cream for ultra decadence.
Im sorry but i did not like this at all in my opinion it wasnt much like chocolate chip at all and i ended up throwing it away
Chocolaty and rich. Great with milk and sugar! I'm curious how this would taste combined with the cream tea. Like cookies and milk, maybe? :)
This is an excellent dessert tea for those days when you want something less complicated than chocolate chai. It's also fantastic mixed half and half with other flavors like strawberry or almond!
black teas always need a pinch of sugar for me to be able to drink them happily was a good blend of tea with chocolate
Definitely a good tea to help satisfy and that chocolate craving!
This is a pretty typical chocolate tea. It's not mind blowing, but the chocolate smell is amazing and the hint of chocolate aftertaste is more or less what I expect from any chocolate tea. (For some reason I was surprised that the tea actually does have mini chocolate chips in it).
I bought this for a friend but was so tempted to drink it when I smelled it through the packaging. Mmm!
I don't know what is with this tea, but it was just awful. I even tried it with some milk and sugar mixed in. It tastes nothing like chocolate at all and was very bitter tasting to me.
I think this one's better than the regular Chocolate tea. A lot more chocolate flavor in this one.
This is a really delicious tea that smells like chocolate candy bars in a bag. I liked it a lot
The chocolate undertone of this tea really makes it a favorite. I like drinking it when I'm craving something sweet. It really takes care of my sweet tooth and is good any time of the day or night.
Love the flavor in this black tea, especially thanks to the dark chocolate in the tea bags. Wonderful on a cold morning when you're craving something sweet.
A nice, pleasant chocolate taste. I recommend this one.
Great tea! I prefer this over the regular chocolate tea as I find this more flavorful. It is not rich but the chocolate flavor is there.
I LOVE this tea. It's subtle chocolate flavor is enticing upon first smelling it in your cup. For someone who isn't in five with chocolate but still enjoys consuming it from time to time, this satisfies. The *ONLY* thing I do not like about this tea is that is is a flavored black tea, which usually to me means I can taste some sort of artificial flavoring in it. However, that being said, if you aren't someone who is sensitive to such things, then this tea is the right chocolate tea for you!
Time I usually aim for about 3-3.5 mins with my black teas (again, it's the artificial flavoring thing) and I generally steep them with the hottest water my electric kettle will produce. ENJOY!
The smell of the tea when you open the bag is just so good, as is the smell of the tea once brewed. The chocolate flavor is not too overwhelming.
This tea has a nice taste to it. I was a bit sceptical but it really has a nice, round taste!
Got a sample of chocolate chip to compare to chocolate. I think both are good, but prefer the chocolate.
Wonderful tea, the dark chocolate flavors are not overwhelming but they're a pretty wonderful compliment to the usual bitterness of Ceylon. Becomes very light during the second steep, almost taking on cinnamon-y notes.
the smell when i opened the bag was amazing, like dark chocolate, but that was nothing compared to the rich and perfect flavor
Had a very fake chocolate taste. It reminded me of the awful chocolate lip gloss that I had as a kid. I tried putting creamer in it and that helped take the edge off but I probably would not drink it again.
I was actually surprised by how good it was! Gives me a very happy feeling.
This is one of my new favorites for sure! It's great with a little milk added. Also, it mixes really well the chai teas but is fine as a standalone as well.
Really like it blended with the Almond Oolong. I will order it again.
I bought this for my son since he likes to have a cup of tea with me every now and then and he was very happy with the taste. He has had chocolate flavored tea before and he said that this one he liked the best. So I guess its a two thumbs up on this tea so we will be buying this one again.
