Such a rich flavor and complex! You can really see the little chocolate chips and cacao nibs in the tea! Tastes great unsweetened too!
Dark chocolate chips melt into our citrusy Ceylon black tea for the ultimate treat. Dense and soft chocolate flavor.

Such a rich flavor and complex! You can really see the little chocolate chips and cacao nibs in the tea! Tastes great unsweetened too!
Good on it's own, but better when mixed with other flavors such as orange, raspberry, or cinnamon
My son is in love with this tea. Not overly chocolately and great flavor
I received this tea as a free gift with my order and I'm super happy with it. Added a little Sugar and cream and my husband even tried and enjoyed it.
Still my favorite, love it on cold winter mornings but can drink it anytime. Just the right touch of chocolate.
actual chocolate in there! Yum!! Super fun and yummy!!
Can't really decide on this tea. The chocolate aroma is stronger than the taste. It has a mild, creamy milk chocolate taste. I don't dislike this tea, but I wish it had a stronger chocolate flavor.
This tea has so much chocolate flavor to it! I like it with Coffemates cinnamon and vanilla creme in it.
this was just ok for me. not super chocolately which some might like since this isn't really meant to be hot chocolate. but if you want a chocolate flavor, why not just drink hot chocolate?
Not bad but not the strong chocolate flavor I have hoped for. It was a flavor in the background.
A really sweet treat when you're looking to get your chocolate fix.
I first tried this tea with a little sugar and milk, and it was too sweet and had a fake chocolate taste. When I tried it again without the sugar, it had a rich, deep taste and was a lot better. I've found that this tea us best steeped a little longer than the recommended time with a little milk or cream. Not my favorite, but a good choice when I'm craving a latte or mocha.
I like the sweetness of this tea, but I prefer to mix it with another, as the taste of the chocolate can be a bit artificial.
In theory, it feels like you couldn't go wrong with the chocolate, but I do think it makes the black tea even more bitter than it is on its own. But it can be lightened up a little with milk and sweetened nicely with some honey or sugar. I also think the chocolate flavor doesn't come across quite as well as it could, especially for a chocolate chip tea.
I am not extremely satisfied with the flavor of this tea. The chocolate smell is there but not the taste. I have discovered if I mix the almond sample I received with this it makes a much more flavorful tea.
I'd rip my own leg off to get at more of this tea, it's so good.
I mix the candy cane and choc chip for a differnt taste and it is wonderful
This did not taste like chocolate at all. It is very harsh and plain nasty. I tried adding some of the cream tea to it to help balance it, it barely helped.
A very sweet dessert tea. It smells exactly like a bag of chocolate chips, and is excellent with cream and a touch of sugar.
This is a great chocolate tea, and I especially like pairing it with hazelnut to make my own nutella tea.
Can be a little bitter on its own, but fantastic in blends.
Perfect for when you want that 'something sweet'. But not overpowering.
The taste of chocolate wasn't as strong as I would have liked but it was a decent cup of tea.
Delicious tea, but kind of makes a bit of a mess in the teabag after the chocolate chips melt.
The aroma is wonderful, both before and after it's brewed. And it tastes just like a fancy dark chocolate candy bar.
Chocolate and tea. A great combination. I make it a little stronger than recommended to get a good chocolate taste.
Great balance of chocolate and tea! It's not nearly as sweet as I was worried it would be. I prefer dark chocolate, so this is a great level of sweetness for me. Loving it!
This is my new go-to snack instead of a chocolate chip cookie! Those mid-afternoon sweets cravings are totally satisfied by this tea, without the guilt!
Not as much character or depth as I expected in this tea. If you're looking for chocolate tea I strongly recommend the honeybush chocolate.
I received a sample of chocolate chip with my first order. I have never had anything more than just your standard Earl Grey or English Breakfast until recently. I must say the flavors in this tea are amazing! I was truly amazed at all the flavor notes that I was tasting as I drank my first cup of personally purchased Adagio Teas. I am over the moon happy with this sample and will buy it in the future!
I was afraid that this tea would be overly bitter, as I've found a lot of the other flavored teas to be. I was very pleasantly surprised! With the addition of a little bit of sugar, this tea tastes like the lovechild of a cup of tea and a cup of hot cocoa. This would probably be delicious with a little milk.
Chocolate taste is subtle but enjoyable. Good with a little sweetener and cream or milk.
I love the blends with a bit of candy in them because they are usually just enough sweetness without needing to add any sugar. This with a splash of milk is perfect.
Too bitter for me personally. Tastes similar to a tootsie roll.
This tea is very reminiscent of hot chocolate. It is delicious with milk.
This tea is delicious! It is smooth and creamy and chocolately. It reminds of of a Christmas drink!
There's nothing really unpleasant-tasting about this tea, but I will most likely not buy it again. Maybe tea and chocolate are too similar flavor-wise to combine into anything interesting (without a third flavor, like in Tiger Eye.) It does taste like plain black tea with a hint of chocolate, so if that's really what you're after you'll certainly enjoy this.
not quite chocolatey to me but tastes deep and rich.
Very good. You can taste all the chocolate in this but in a good way.
This tea has an interesting taste but it the caffeine level is a little too high for me, so this isn't one of my favorites personally.
Opening the package was like someone waving a chocolate bar under your nose. I didn't find the tea bitter like some reviewers, though I do think it needs milk to balance it.
I blended the tea with Almond Oolong and Coconut for an Almond Joy tea.
Really good with milk or cream. The kids love it, and I grind it and add it my sugar cookies to add some extra 'oompf' to them
First thing in the morning start with a strong, chocolate tea - oh my what a nice start of the day. I like it sweetened with a little cream.
I have found a new guilty pleasure!!! This tea is amazing!
I love the chocolate chips in this tea. It feels like drinking desserts.
yummy. got me back into drinking black tea. made it with too much tea the first time and it was very bitter. best with cream and sugar for a pretty satisfying cup
This tea is great. The chocolate is not overpowering.
Mix this with Golden Monkey, Caramel, Coconut, and Peppermint to make a great holiday tea.
The first sniff in the bag gives me a strong chocolate/vanilla aroma. That's perfect, I suppose, because that is essentially what chocolate chips are made of. It even has teeny tiny little chocolate chips in it. The taste is more like roasted chocolate, a bit dark, a bit...nutty-ish. It's good, but I personally feel it's better in a blend than on its own.
This is a tea that I don't usually use on its own. I do like it by itself, but I often add it in to something else to add (or boost) the chocolate flavor. This is particularly good when added to the pu-erh chorange.
