I mix this with Hazelnut and it smells like a chocolate chip cookie. So good.
Dark chocolate chips melt into our citrusy Ceylon black tea for the ultimate treat. Dense and soft chocolate flavor.

I mix this with Hazelnut and it smells like a chocolate chip cookie. So good.
Aromatic and relaxing. It's not a sweet flavor, but the chocolate adds a unique note I love.
Sweet and delicious, a nice afternoon or desert tea!
While pleasant, the chips used didn't give me the amount of chocolate flavor I -expected-, given the impression of the aroma. Still, it comes across as a good, strong black tea with a hint of cocoa.
bought this before, just bought a larger pack because I love it so much
Definitely a tea that's best when blended with others.
Rich, smooth and delicious. I love adding milk and sugar to this one. This definitely satisfies a chocolate craving.
This Chocolate Chip tea is another one of my favorites! I know that the combination, chocolate with tea, may sound strange, but you won't be disappointed by this tea.
This tea is amazing, especially when you mix it with vanilla.
This tea is one of my favorite. I previously bought the tea bags and loved them, and now switched to the loose leaf tea and still am absolutely loving it
I am not a fan of this. I tried it twice so far. Once with sugar, once without. This has a bitter component to it. I followed the instructions carefully- boiled water, 3 mins. I bought 2 sample bags to try it out, but I think I will not reorder this. UPDATE: I mixed it with the Candy Cane black tea and the combination was pretty good.
Not as choclaty as expected but I did still enjoy it.
I'm not typically a black tea drinker, but my chocolate addiction drew me to this tea! It smells absolutely heavenly, and brews very similarly. It has a rich dark chocolate taste, and in my opinion it's even more delicious with a splash of milk! The small chocolate chips are a nice touch, and I may even add additional chips in the future if I'm feeling like a big treat! Overall, it has opened my mind to black teas! Yum!
Just so so - not as much chocolate as I hoped. Will try again
Delicious... I love how the chocolate chips melt in the tea.
Yummy tea. Some times I mix it with coconut tea or hazelnut tea.
Still LOVE this tea! Little Stevia in it and I am good to go!
This is very good by itself and mixed with certain other teas - nice and sweet.
It smells good, but is really bitter. The sweetness from the chocolate doesn't stick at all.
Not overly chocolatey which is nice! A nice, delicious black tea.
This is a keeper for me, distinct flavors that remain true
Thought I'd try something new and I'm a chocolate addict. Intense flavor, bordering on chocolate liqueur-like taste.
I love the great flavor. I love anything chocolate.
One of my favorite teas. Has a nice chocolate flavor
Good strong tea with milk. Sometimes I add fresh ginger to brew with it.
I'm in love, it's like the love child of mocha and tea >< The taste of chocolate is strong enough but without killing the taste of tea and the smell ... Love it !!
I'll probably try add cream or cinnamon next time =)
Mild chocolate that melds into the black tea. Excellent with or without added sweetener or milk.
I bought this mainly to mix with the caramel and/or hazelnut teas, and it adds a great chocolate-y note to both those flavors. I haven't tried it full-strength by itself yet, but judging from the lovely aroma, I expect it to stand well on its own.
Pretty good. Not my favorite chocolate tea, but I like this one better than Adagio's regular 'chocolate.' Tip: mix it with the cream tea.
Not what I was expecting. Thought there would be more 'chocolate' flavor.
This tea was just ok. For some reason it didn’t have enough flavor for me. Also there was oil sitting on the surface of the tea. If it didn’t have the layer of oil I would have rated it better.
mmmmmmmm loved perfect one for cold days, Sweet and strong
This tea is a perfect surrogate for real chocolate when you are on a diet. I can taste the chocolate and see tiny oil droplets on the surface. The taste is soft and chocolaty. Also good with a bit half and half.
This is good, but I think I prefer hot chocolate or mocha.
Chocolate? Tea? Yes please! This had a depth of flavor that I loved. It actually had a bit of a mocha feel to it, was so rich. I think I need to go make some now.
The chocolate flavor really comes through if that is your preference always wanted to try but just not for me...
Definitely Adagio's best chocolate-flavored black tea. It's slightly sweeter than 'Chocolate' and tastes a lot more decadent.
This is really something beyond my idea of flavor
This is a lovely flavoursome tea, a good alternative to get your chocolate fix and a little less guilty! 3 mins is perfect brewing time!
I mixed this tea with the coconut. I also mixed this tea with the caramel. It was good with both. A great dessert tea
Super great, I m writing this just for points and then I ll delete my review.
This is an okay chocolate tea. It is not a favorite of mine, but it gets the job done. I add milk, and that seems to help it. UPDATE: Mixing this tea with the hazelnut tea is amaaazing.
Nice morning tea for my chocolate loving daughter.
As good as hot cocoa- great with milk and a little sweetener.
This is a very simple but profound black tea. It combines two important things in my life and does it well. I've had it with and without sugar and it's delicious either way.
Not bad, but not overwhelmingly chocolatey, either. Probably better in a blend with some more complimentary flavors to bring out the chocolate. Next time I'll try it with some sweetener to see if that brings out the chocolate flavor.
This is my absolute favorite tea of all time! It's rich, creamy, and very full bodied so it doesn't get overwhelmed when you add a touch of creamer. It doesn't even need any sweetener but I do add it once in a while to make it just that extra bit more decadent and it tastes almost like hot cocoa. I really cannot recommend this enough!
It s just okay, and thats about it, not a lot of chocolate flavor going on. Since I love chocolate teas, it d really be a bummer, except doe the fact that I ve found much better chocolate teas from Adagio. The standard Chocolate tea is so much better than the chocolate chip tea. The best though is the Chocolate Chip tea that is part of Cara McGee s Christmas Cookie fandom. Try it, it s amazing.
I am not a fan of chocolate tea but really LOVED this one. Smooth and rich.
I really enjoy this tea. I'm not a coffee drinker so this is my morning caffeine. I keep it in the refrigerator and mix with soy milk.
