Delicious tea. Like drinking chocolate in a mug. Smells amazing!! The smell is like a chocolate chip cookie. I find that it is a bit bitter when it’s really hot but once it cools the bitterness leaves. Would recommend if you enjoy really chocolate tasting tea.

This was my favorite chocolate tea in the past, but I think I'm enjoying it more when blended 50-50 with Chocolate. I don't usually find it tasty with any percentage of Chocolate Truffle-- Chocolate tea alone is better with Truffle I think.

I made a 15 oz mug of tea, with 2 tsp of rock sugar. I love this tea. It starts out almost savory at first, but as it sits and cools, it becomes sweeter. Very nice as a breakfast tea for just this reason, although it is lovely any time of the day.

This one is more like a good black tea with a hint of chocolate flavor. A splash of milk makes it more creamy, but it's not sweet or chocolatey. It's tastes good, a solid black tea option, but I think it misses the mark with the chocolate flavor.

It's fine, but not very exciting. We both said meh to this one. Even milk and sugar didn't bring out any more chocolate flavor. This one's not for us, but those hesitant about tea and chocolate may find it a good starting place

I don’t normally add sugar to my teas, but with this one it really worked, Sugar brought out the sweetness of the chocolate and made it that much better, a little bitter without.

I've found I like chocolate in tea more than I thought. The CT packet I enjoyed was a bit light on the chocolate, but it was still quite enjoyable.

This is a very nice blend! I'd prefer it to be a bit less bitter, but it still has a nice, rich flavor. It would definitely be wonderful in blends!

So absolutely good. It was like liquid chocolate which is good since it is chocolate chip. I was blown away by how good it was though I didnt have high expectations but they've certainly been elevated

The packet has a very nice chocolate aroma. The taste is a mild black tea with a background of chocolate, quite good.

This one is pretty good even if it doesn't have a home in my personal cabinet. I tried it today adding nothing to the cup as usual. It is definitely a bold base with cocoa notes that are more reminiscent of bitter type chocolates which I love. I think this one would do awesome as a blend ingredient and is probably phenomenal when adding sweetener and milk which I will definitely try next time I see this one. The reason it is not a purchase for me is I think Irish stout does a similar flavor profile better so that is my choice for it. Glad to sample with CT today. 212° 3 min

Really just tasted like black tea. I also didn't see any chocolate chips in my CT bag, so I may have just gotten a poor sample.

I'm undecided on this... decent dark chocolate flavor... I used a sprinkle of sugar crystals, but it could use a smidge more maybe.
I feel like this deserves definite creaminess and some sweetener.

It's good. Not quite enough of a chocolate flavor, but good. I wouldn't pass up another cup, but there are some more intense chocolate blends that I prefer.

Sep 2025: delicious. Don’t oversteep, do add a little sweetener
June 2024 whatever I really liked it this time *shrug*
not for me - not a chocolate tea person and this was bitter and odd. though it really did taste specifically like chocolate chips.

We don’t purchase many caffeinated teas - but this one is good. It has a black tea flavor, but also a nice dessert tea flavor. We would all drink this one again!

It smelled like dark chocolate, which is a good sign. Upon drinking, I most got the Ceylon flavors (which are good) but there was a light sweetness and chocolatey aftertaste. I feel this paired pretty well with Ceylon. I'm surprised because I don't normally enjoy the added chocolate flavors. This was the first blend I've had with chocolate chips, but I enjoy them more than the cocoa nibs and chocolate scent

I am not usually a fan of chocolate in my tea, but the chocolate chip blend is smooth and mild and tastes even better with milk!

Brewed this as a latte- I must have gotten an off sample because there were only two small cocoa nibs and no chocolate chips. Still, the smell was very chocolatey. The taste was a little weaker, but if you like chocolate teas you'll probably enjoy this quite a bit.

I decided to try this one with some half and half, so I brewed it strong, hot, and for five minutes instead of three. It was delicious. I think I'm going to order some!

I found this tea to be lovely in aroma, having elements of both chocolate and cocoa being very present. The taste was a little bit more bitter than I would have liked, likely because of the Ceylon base. I was hoping that would pair well with the bitter aspects of the cocoa nibs, but I fear that it was just too bitter and astringent for me. My second cup was a little bit better, sweeter and smoother. Less flavor overall, but generally good.

I love this tea! It's always in my rotation. It has just the right amount of chocolate. With the rock sugar and a bit of milk you can't go wrong.

Good with milk added. Plain, it’s slight bitter despite the chocolate chips mixed into this blend! Yum.

Absolutely delicious. I prefer iced tea, so I put this in my fridge pitcher for 10 hours & drink it with sugar which opens that sweet flavor profile right up. I said before that Tiger Eye was the best tea I ever tasted, but this one quickly became my favorite over that. It has more chocolate.

Maybe I'm expecting too much, but I just don't find any of the chocolate teas I've tried to have much flavor. I've steeped longer, added more tea, etc. but still doesn't taste very flavorful.

I was worried this would come across as too sweet, but once again, Adagio has delivered! This tastes wonderfully like a chocolate chip cookie without being sickeningly sweet. I added a bit of cream to my cup to really create a smooth and decadent experience.

A little weak in the chocolate flavor. I will have to try adding more tea next time and at 212 degrees. Otherwise, it wasn't bad.

I haven't had this blend myself. I got this for my daughter who enjoyed it enough to ask me to order some for her when I placed my own order. Based on that, I give this tea 5 stars. 😇

This is good! I tried is for the first time as a sample and thought, this almost tastes like hot chocolate! I decided to try it next time with French Vanilla coffee creamer... wrong choice! I think it's best when it's drunk black. Come to think of it, that is how I prefer my tea = )

7/6/24 Communitea: Mmm. Not a fan of this tea, I have to say... It's not horrible, but since I tried mine without milk and just added some sugar, it wasn't quite it. I think I prefer my chocolate drinks to have a bit of a heavier, thicker mouthfeel which this tea didn't really provide. That being said, I've found I'm not a fan of chocolate tea in general, so take my review with a grain of salt!

It tastes good but I think it more if a treat then drinking every day for ur morning tea. It’s more like after meal tea for a dessert tea

Tea + chocolate = what's not to love?! Scrumptious for breakfast, afternoon tea, or dessert on a night when you don't want to go to bed early. Steeped 3 mins at 212°

This is a good basic chocolate black tea. A bit astringent for me but perfect with a little oat milk and honey. I drank it iced and it was refreshing on a hot July day!

Tastes like chocolate chip cookies? ...Kinda. mostly a standard black tea with hints of sweet chocolate and slight bitter cocoa notes. Pretty tasty can be doctored to bring out the flavors with a little sugar or milk.

Without added milk and sugar, this tea is hollow and flat. The taste is wonderful, the way the Ceylon blends with the cacao nibs is so smooth and nice, it just can't stand on it's own, it needs more.

I'm having this tea with a splash of oat milk. It's quite bitter to my surprise, when I had this tea in a blend, it wasn't. After adding a bit of sugar it was kind of astringent? This tea confused me so much. 😳

What can one say? This tea is exactly what it says on the tin, chocolate flavor lining black tea. It's bitter, but a little sugar brings it in line with most people's expectations of chocolate chip. Add a little milk or cream, and it becomes truly indulgent.

This tea is exactly what I was looking for to replace the high sugar content of a hot cocoa while keeping a flavor. I added a capful of whole milk to build in some creaminess.
