No. Just no. This one is 100 kinds of 'not for me' and I'm very glad I only bought a sample (that I can feel free to throw out). The problem is not the taste of the tea, which is actually rather decent (albeit with a slightly funky aftertaste). The problem lies with the smell. The smell of the leaves makes me want to gag and the smell of the brewed tea is not much better.
Potent stuff--the smell lingers in your nose well after you've closed the bag. Flavor is exactly what you would expect, and a little goes a long way when blending. A surprising favorite for me as I almost always avoid caramel anything.
Very sweet and smooth, nice to blend with stronger blacks like Irish Breakfast.
Its a very powerful-smelling tea. You can smell the caramel from the bag, which is awesome. It makes for a great breakfast tea with biscotti or a dessert tea for after dinner.
DELICIOUS. My favorite flavor tea so far. I like mixing it with cream or vanilla from time to time.

I plan to use this tea mainly in blends, but its contribution is so satisfactory - and at times unexpected - that I practically want to caramelize everything in sight. Adds a velvety, luxurious finish to every sip. (The Rooibos Caramel, on the other hand, does not have the quite the same amazing, liquidy caramel mouthfeel).
This is delicious, but it a bit heavy as well. definitely a dessert tea
I tried this on its own and wasnt the biggest fan - although of course I will try it again - but Ive mixed it with a few other flavors and it makes a delicious tea (spiced apple chai caramel is my favorite)
Love this tea! I followed the steeping time, but only used half the suggested amount of tea, but I love it!
The smell is very fake caramel in the bag, and luckily, it doesn't carry over to the flavor. The liquor is an inviting golden brown. It's very smooth on the tongue, and tastes of a deep, earthy burnt marshmallow/caramelized sugar. The aftertaste is fantastic!
This didn't taste bad, but I didn't get a distinct caramel taste from it.

This is actually the only Adagio tea that I'd call disgusting. It has a strong, almost bitter flavor that I haven't been able to mellow with milk or sugar. I even tried it iced, which was a terrible idea. Just not for me.
The aroma hits you first and it smells delicious! It's not as strong tasting as I anticipated, but gives a warm after taste of caramel.

I got this tea for my dad and he drinks it with some sugar and cream. He absolutely loves it. It's got a strong flavor and nice aroma. It's perfect for mornings for a nice wake-up.
Sweet, distinctly caramel flavor. My only complaint is it's a tad on the overpowering side when you smell it. I can't wait to blend this with chocolate chip. :)

I actually purchased this tea for blending with others but decided to try it own it's own before playing scientist. As with other flavored teas the brew smells more like caramel than tastes of it, but the overall finish is nice and mellow and not at all bitter. I definitely enjoyed this (with milk) but think it might be better suited to playing with others. (Chocolate Chip, I'm looking at you.)
Hot and sweet, this brews perfectly and easily. It's a blend, but it's a simple blend, so the taste is straightforward and throws no curveballs.
Wow, the caramel upon smelling this was like a punch in the nose--very strong and a little bit artificial. It didn't taste as strong as it smelled, thankfully, and it added a nice undertone to counteract the bitterness of the tea. Still, I think I'd like this one better in a blend than on its own.

I have a sweet tooth but don't like to admit it with my teas. This tea hits that luscious sweet spot, even without milk. It's not cloyingly sweet, just a bit of buttery and brown sugar flavors coupled with a solid black tea. Everything I want in a cozy, evening tea.
This tea has a good standard caramel flavor which is a lot like caramel coffee creamer, with the added benefit of being a good mixing and blending flavor. Caramel chocolate vanilla or cream and other such combinations are very nice in particular.
This one is very sweet, and I love it! It smells amazing, and it actually manages to not taste fake. I'm not a huge fan of caramel but couldn't resist picking up a sample of this tea...and it was a good choice. I may be finally converted!

It really does smell and taste like caramel! I bought this with candy cane hoping it would have the same feel and it does. Very warm and calm without being too sweet. This IS a sweet tea however and sugar is encouraged!

Wasn't my favorite of the black teas. The taste was similar to caramel, just wasn't my favorite.
Caramel is one of those things you either like or you don't. It's sticky sweet and kind of cloying, and everything about it is over the top.
If you like caramel (and I do) you'll like this tea. It's caramel. Tea. I tend to use it in blends more than drinking it alone, but really, isn't that what we do with caramel anyway?

Amazing, so good. I love this one. Smooth and delicious, it really does taste like caramel. I had to add a bit of sugar to mine though, and a touch of milk. An excellent tea, I would definitely buy it again. Sample size is just not enough.

This tea has a nice caramel-y flavor without being over powering. I've found I especially enjoy this mixed with a bit of vanilla tea and a bit of cream/milk added. Quite nice on a cold winter morning.

Pretty good, the caramel flavor is not overpowering at all. When I made this tea everyone who walked in the house asked what the syrup smell was from, definitely some maple going on in there!
