My daughter really loved this one and used it as a boba base. The caramel notes are strong but not cloyingly so.

★★★★★

This rich carmel flavor tastes like real carmel, not a powdered substitute. The flavor has depth and is consistently delicious.

★★☆☆☆

This one is a little too bitter for my liking and I couldn’t quite taste the caramel flavor.

This along with Valentines tea are my absolute favorites. I have a cup of each every morning. I have been drinking them for more than ten years.

★★★★☆

This smells very good but the tea itself isn't very interesting to look at. It tastes good but not great.

★★★★☆

Yummy, very nice carmel flavor, I enjoy blending this with other flavors to make my own unique blend. Works well with chocolate, apple, almond and so many others. Delicious

★★★★★

I love this one. Has a good balanced taste. Not too overwhelming with caramel. I tried this with a few other teas. Mixes well.

A great tea for anyone who wants a subtle caramel flavor. This black tea is great in the morning giving me the boost I need and a great flavor. I don't even need sweetener it's perfect on it's own.

★★★☆☆

I had hoped for a bit more caramel flavor to the tea so probably won't order again. But it was an okay black tea.

★★★★☆

Very sweet and mixes well with other teas. I used it in my creme maple tea and it enhanced the flavors

★★☆☆☆

Not a fan. Tasted artificial, which might just be to be expected with a flavor like caramel. It’s not offensive; I will drink it but would not reorder this one.

This is not a very sweet caramel flavor; I enjoy this as an additional creamy note in my other black & herbal teas.

★★★★★

This is delicious. I compared it to the Damman Freres Caramel tea (which is harder to find and more expensive, but it's what initially turned me on to caramel tea)... and Adagio's is its equal, in my book, at least.

★★★★★

Nice general tea. Full bodied and works well with a little sweetener and some creamer. Be aware, this is fully leaded - that is, it's got quite a kick of caffeine, so if you do drink caffeinated teas, keep this one for earlier in the day or you'll be up all night! (ask me how I know...) This is a solid tea that I keep in stock at home all the time.

★★★★★

So sweet and lovely on its own or added with other teas (my personal favorite was candy apple) and it added the perfect amont of sweetness.

This is so comforting, warm, and yummy with a little half-and-half, and some Stevia!!!

This is a great tea for blending or for when you have a mild sweet tooth. It has a wonderful caramel smell, although the caramel flavor is more subtle. I enjoy having it in the morning, although if you want a stronger caramel or sweet tea in the morning, you might want to try another tea.

★★★★★

One of my favorites teas. I will probably always order this one.

I open my communiTEA package to the smell of enticing caramel. I was hooked! I was not disappointed. The flavor very well balanced; you can appreciate the full body rich flavor of the Ceylon tea. The caramel takes away all astringency in the blend, resulting in a very smooth cup of tea.

Perfection in a cup. It’s so caramely! I love it as a latte.

I've tried about a ten different flavors of tea so far and this is by far and large my most favorite. Only thing that would make it better would be added apples to make Caramel Apple. It's caffineated enough to keep me going throughout the day and it has a full body flavor and terrific aroma. I should add that i only drink iced tea and this tea has a different profile while hot. It is very yummy too but I prefer iced steeped for 5 minutes. Will definitely order again.

By itself, this is a pretty good tea when sweetened. It is most useful for blending with other teas.

A lovely tea (but I like anything caramel)! I’ve had this in the past but must have been in my flavored black tea boxes. If you like caramel this one is a great choice. CT 10/19/2023.

This is such a yummy tea. I have enjoyed it in the past and was pleased to see it listed for today.

Nice caramel flavor with a smooth black tea. No bitterness here. I did add a dollop of oat milk & a package of monk fruit to it.

Like caramel? This is a black tea with accents of caramel flavor. Add a touch of sugar.

I think this tea is better used as an add in with other teas. Much like cream is. It does have a little caramel flavor that could be added to as well.

Smells amazing, but the caramel flavor leaves a bit to be desired. I bet it would be a great tea to mix, but by itself it's a bit light. I added a bit of sugar and oat milk.

This is a good tea. I love it in blends and blend with it often at home.

It smells very, very good. This is one of those that you can smell a few feet away even after it's brewed. It tastes reminiscent of caramel.

mixed mine with an apple cider herbal tea i had + a pinch of lapsang souchong to make caramel apple spice tea. yum!

You’re standard-flavored black tea. I appreciate the simplicity. A touch on the astringent side but nothing a little sweeter and Mille can't fix.

I was hopeful after pleasant aroma. While I find it to be much more appealing that many other black teas, even with decreased temperature it had an unpleasant aftertaste of bitterness to me. Second steep was better. Cool better than hot. Would likely do well in a blend.

a little bit bitter tea but with a nice caramel aftertaste which I think works better in combination with other teas, especially honeybush or rooibos to cut the bitterness

A yummy dessert-y tea treat!! I love caramel especially in tea blends. & with creme and a sweetener...this is a great one, so scrumptious!

A ribbon of caramel flavor runs through this tea. Nice with a bit of sugar.

The aroma is absolutely scrumptious. The flavour is a little more subtle, but still a good caramel note. I really like this as-is, but also see this being a great addition to blends. Steeped 3 min @ 200º.

This tea smells so good in the packet and while steeping. Very much like caramel. When I drank it, the caramel flavor is less prominent than it smells, but still present. Mostly it tastes like a nice black tea with a hint of sweet that wasn’t extreme or cloying. If you don’t like black tea, this won’t make a convert out of you, but otherwise, I think anyone could like this.

UPDATED from 1/3/22: This tea tastes much better to me this year.
Sweet caramel aroma is detected when the CommuniTEA packet opens. After steeping (at a slightly lower temp to avoid bitterness) this is a deep amber. Sadly this is still a very bitter caramel tea! There is also a nice nutty flavor. Adding 1/4 teaspoon of sweetener (to 10 oz) and heavy whipping cream certainly smooths out the bitterness, and makes the tea much creamier and more delightful. This is good to blend with other teas. (3 mins @ 200ºF + sweetener and cream).

Black tea with a minimal amount of caramel; not enough to swoon over this tea, but enough for a good sip.
It's a perfect sweetener to blend with other teas.

I enjoyed the caramel aroma and taste. Did not add honey today. Enjoyed plain after dinner. Not bitter.

There was a nice caramel and tea aroma from the packet. 2 min @ 160 produced the black tea bitterness and astringency I'm not fond of. I didn't get any caramel flavor from it. Black tea just isn't for me, but I'm sure it's better with milk and sugar.

Hot brewed and cold brewed. Has a subtle caramel flavor that I wish was just a little stronger. Still tastes great and goes great with some milk added!

This tea is okay, the caramel is a little processed tasting so I wouldn't say it's my favorite, but I didn't hate it

I had a hard time with the bitterness of this tea (even with following & then adjusting the brew time). There is certainly more caramel flavor compared to the Rooibos Caramel (where the rooibos takes over). It is a lighter, sweeter caramel flavor that hits belatedly, almost as an after-taste.
