Not to my liking but kids liked it with added pieces of real candy canes.

Its not the best, but not the worst. I drank the sample that I have, but wouldn't purchase it again. It is hard to really say why, the tea just disagrees with me.

like a lot of reviewers, I think this could benefit from a bit more of a peppermint flavor.

When I was a kid I used to dissolve left over candy cane peices in tea. I was expecting this to be just like that.. it isn't. However, it is wonderful in its own right. It smells delicious, just like a buttermint. It tastes very creamy, with a hint of mint. It is nearly my perfect tea, but in my opinion it could use just a bit more mint. I HIGHLY recommend trying it!

WONDERFULL BLEND.. but be very carefull not to steep to long or its sweet flavor will quickly become bitter. I wish this was offered year round. I wish they would add a few moe candy cane pieces. It is also good with a pinch of peppermint tea.

I like this tea...but I was hoping for a bit more candy cane taste. I added my own candy cane as a stir stick...yummy. :)

There was a hint of peppermint aftertaste, but it mostly tasted and smelled like butterscotch. I hate butterscotch.

I liked this tea. It wasnt just a mint flavored tea, it had a creaminess to it that was unique and so very good. It definitely will put you in the Christmas spirit!

This tea should be offered ALL YEAR. Its just great and has become my main tea. Because it isn't offered all year I bought a BIG sack of it and am using it sparingly. Sometimes there aren't a lot of candy cane pieces in, but my remedy for that is this giant candy cane I bought. If it doesn't taste candy caney enough I add a few chips of my own and it tastes fantastic. I am a candy cane fanatic well peppermint fanatic so this tea is TOPS!!

This was a decent flavored tea. I liked the candy cane flavor, but I am not sure it is something I would drink on a regular basis.

I used to brew my own mix of vanilla and peppermint, but I finally got around to try the candy cane and no more self-mixing for me! And I like this so much better than another brand's version of candy cane tea, which tasted a bit like drinking a candle.

The smell of this stuff before you brew it is TERRIBLE, but after you actually make the tea, it's pretty good. The candy cane flavor is very minty and calming.

I really like the flavor. I feel as though it's different from the usual peppermint tea you can get elsewhere. Less herbal and more like black tea with candy cane in it, which it is. I have to make an effort not to be grossed out by the tiny pieces of candy cane with tea flecks stuck all over them. Er...yum.

Tried this in the holiday sampler and it is soooooo good! This my new favorite tied right up there with the Valentines tea! The candy can needs nothing added to it, it's a brew and sip kind of tea!

Really love the black tea with candy cane pieces in it. I order it every time the holidays come round for myself and anybody else that wants some. You might not be able to see the candy cane though because in my case it was encased in tea leaves. Also, don't expect to taste it right off the bat. For me I was getting hints of the mint on the aftertaste.

This tea is awesome! even people who do not like tea daily loved this tea!

Smells very good and tastes nice, provided you don't steep it for terribly long. This gets strong very quickly, and can be fairly bitter if you're not careful.

Great tea to have on Christmas morning. Perfect with honey and milk / half n' half.

LOVE this tea! The peppermint flavour isn't overpowering and is very smooth. Wonderful with a little milk and sugar!

This is a pure holiday treat. The smell of candy canes fills the air. Grant it, there is not much a candy cane taste. It's there but is hidden behind the tea. But it's there. The cooling flavor of mint fills your throat and you feel as though you have just eaten a wonderful candy cane, without all the sugar.

Fantastic minty aroma and flavor! Not too strong, just right. This is a perfect tea especially during the holidays.

I thought I would like this but I didn't know it was going to be a favorite. It sweet with vanilla undertones and the mint isn't over-powering. I also like adding cocoa to it.

I love this tea so much, that I stock up every December to last me throughout the year. Wish they sold it year-round! Great flavor.

Not as candy cane flavored as I thought it would be, but still a great taste

This tastes like its name implies - like a candy cane. For an even stronger taste, garnish with a small candy cane. I bought this for my children, and they like it.

Amazing! This is my new favorite holiday tea. The smell right out of the bag is fantastic..exactly like butter mints! Tastes very creamy with a hint of mint. Not overpowering at all and very smooth. At a touch of milk for added creaminess. Delish!

Doesn't taste exactly like a candy cane but it's still good. It's not overly minty but does remind me of a Christmas like mint flavor. I find adding 1 to 2 tsp of sugar gives it a more realistic minty flavor. I would buy this again but probably only during the fall/winter season. Which is why Adagio Teas probably only offer these holiday teas seasonally.

I was disappointed with this tea because it didn't really taste minty to me. I read another review that suggested adding more pieces of candy cane -- maybe that would help.

I had a hard time describing the taste of this tea to my friends. The peppermint isn't sharp. There's a wonderful buttery note that combines with the mint to make it mellow and sweet. It's just wonderful.

I love this tea!! The mint flavor is noticeable but not overwhelming. I love to put milk in my black tea, and at first I was hesitant, thinking it may clash with the minty flavor, but this tea has a creamy, almost buttery quality that makes it very amenable to milk. No need for sugar, it is already sweet.

This tea is surprisingly not as strong as I suspected it to be. It is delicious, and it contains real bits of candy cane, which certainly add to the peppermint taste. It has a smooth, slightly minty taste, with hints of vanilla and other flavors I can't quite put my finger on. Ultimately, it is a solid black tea with hints of mint. I read in another review that it could be blended with other teas, which I never thought of. But that is a great idea, being as the flavor in this tea is not overwhelming. A tasty treat for the afternoon, and it goes well with sweet treats (Halloween leftovers)!

This tea is great by itself or blended with other teas. It has a nice and smooth mint taste rather than harsh and bitter like many other mint teas I have tried in the past. This tea is so much fun to mix with chocolate teas as well.

wow. the aroma is wonderful and the flavor...basically warm family holiday in a cup. i LOVE it!!

This tea has a buttery taste with a hint of mint. Great with creamer and a little honey. Hot just for the holidays.
