Reminiscing about Christmases past as I sip this blend. Very delicious.
This wonderfully smooth, minty treat that will fill you with a warm Christmas spirit and leave you jolly. There's no need to wait for a visit from Old Saint Nick to enjoy this yuletide favorite.

Reminiscing about Christmases past as I sip this blend. Very delicious.
I initially thought it would be too strong/sweet, but it kept me sipping and it really grew on me. Reminded me of Junior Mints. Try it if you want “treat” more than “tea”
This is one of my all-time favorites! I love the chocolate mixed with the candy cane taste. It's the perfect holiday tea! However, I buy it in larger quantities to enjoy all winter! I add a touch of cream, either dairy or oat-based, but this tea can be enjoyed with or without.
This tea is a great Holiday tea. I don't typically do sweet tea, so I was concerned about the candy pieces. The candy cane pieces added to the flavor and was perfect.
I bought this because it sounded similar to the David's Tea Santa's Secret, but not matter now I steeped it, it came out bitter. I don't know what I did wrong but I returned the bag.
The joy without the 'sticky' mess. A melted Christmas tradition in a cup. The aroma is so delightful.
Love this tea! I also love peppermint herbal tea but this is definitely different from that - it truly is more "candy cane" than just peppermint!
CommuniTEA 11/29/23: Finally leaving a review after many packets of Candy Cane received over the course of a few years… Even though I don’t care for minty teas please believe I’ve tried. I just cannot get into this tea.
Today’s packet contained plenty of Ceylon, peppermint leaves, and little candy cane bits as advertised. Upon steeping it smelled of mint but also an artificial cakey element? The taste was very odd. I did get the “buttery” result mentioned by a few others and did not enjoy it. There was a slight vanilla quality to each sip; it IS smooth. Strong peppermint burned all the way down but thankfully faded after a few minutes. This delivers as promised.
Not always a fan of mint teas but this was delicious. Might just have to be a winter staple. Makes a good latte and great for blending too.
Nice minty fresh aroma from the dry tea leaves. 2 min @ 165. Still mint scented, Refreshing mint zing in the mouth with some bitterness from the black tea. It's an okay tea but I prefer rooibos cocomint.
I Really enjoyed this tea. Perfect tea for Christmas. It has a soft candy cane flavor. I added a little honey.
I wish adagio would choose either an artificial dye free candy or put the candies separate. Red #40 and all other colors are terrible for everyone and the pieces were so small that I had to toss todays CT packet in the trash because I couldn't pick them out. I don't know why a company would ruin a healthy thing like tea.
A lovely creamy mint tea. The two flavors compliment each other well.
I love this tea! A wonderful aroma of peppermint reached me as I opened my communiTEA packet. The flavor is smooth and sweet, with just the right amount of peppermint to complement the black tea. The candy cane pieces add a festive touch and the right amount of sweetness. This tea is perfect for the holiday season, or anytime I need a cozy and comforting treat. It’s also great with milk and honey, or whipped cream and sprinkles. It’s a delicious and delightful blend that will make you feel merry and bright.
Sadly, I'm not a fan of minty teas... smelled very winter-y though!
This is a tea that will definitely put you in the holiday mood - provided you like candy canes. Smelling the tea instantly reminds you of candy canes at Christmas. You can almost hear the Christmas music playing in the background, and perhaps it brings back memories of being a child at Christmas and enjoying the candy. For those looking for nuance from the tea, look elsewhere. This tea is all about the candy cane/peppermint flavor.
Candy cane delivers sweet peppermint. Nice festive cozy cup.
I've had this tea a few times as part of various tea collections, and no matter which way I prepare it, the mint never meshes well with the black tea. The bitterness of the black tea and the cooling sensation of the mint give the impression that I've accidentally mixed some toothpaste into my cup, so unfortunately, I'll have to give this tea a pass from now on.
Peppermint in a cup! Strong flavor, appealing sweetness, and very much does what it says on the tin. If you took a cup of black tea and melted half a candycane into it, it would taste like this and be far more work. Nice one!
This smelled amazing as I opened the packet and also while brewing. The taste is exactly as described, very soft layer of the traditional candy cane flavor. I added a bit of milk as another reviewer suggested which added to the blend. Added a pouch to my next order because I know my kids will like it as well.
While some sips are tasty, some have a bitter aftertaste.
I was really looking forward to a good peppermint flavored tea. I’m not really sure what I’m tasting… a bitter black tea with menthol? This one completely missed the boat for me!
There's a powerful minty freshness to this tea, but it is not overpowering. The peppermint notes give the black tea a fresh lift while the Ceylon grounds the mint's bright bite. There's also a creamy note to this tea, presumably from the 'candy cane flavoring' that makes this more than just a black tea with mint. Plus, it stands up to a second infusion, though the mint is significantly less potent on the repeat steep. Definitely a great holiday wake-up call! (3 minutes @ 212F)
One of my favorites, the minty sweetness balances out the black tea well, and makes for a festive and refreshing flavor. Something about hot tea with the cooling sensation of mint is very attractive also.
The best mint/black tea combination I've had. Great for cold mornings and does not taste like toothpaste. Unless you have a really good toothpaste that is flavored like tea, then maybe it might?
My packet contained one candy cane piece, so I didn't have high expectations, which was good because the disappointment was minimal! It smells wonderfully sweet when brewing, but once sipped, the peppermint flavor was on the weak side. I think it would have been a good tea, with a few more crushed candy pieces, so I will give it an extra star for 'potential'.
Candy cane is strong cup of black tea with a cool menthol zing of peppermint. Cute little pieces of candy cane in the blend add a visual and flavorful addition to the tea. Perfect for getting into the holiday mood.
I liked this one, at first sip all I tasted with the tea was sweetness from the candy cane, but on the back end, the minty flavor came through. Good for me because I'm not a fan of in your face minty teas.
This tea is so bright and delicious. It screams Christmas! I get the urge for it when pumpkin spice season fizzles out and while I'm waiting for the return of Reindeer Fuel. During the dark days, the promise of a pot of candy cane tea is the only thing that gets me out of bed in the morning in time for work. I use less than a full teaspoon and only brew 3 to 5 minutes, it can get a little bitter if you have a heavy hand or brew too long. I would LOVE to see a variation with chocolate!
Love this tea! Helps quench my sweet tooth and don't have to go looking for any other candy to eat and ruin my diet!
Lovely tea. Bright peppermint flavor; very refreshing.
This is a weird one! It smells a little too sweet for me, and the first sips take some getting used to. Once you've taken a few sips, the mint flavor comes through in a big way. Prepare to taste mint for a while. It's definitely a morning tea.
My favourite Christmas tea, but I also enjoy this one all year long. It’s sweet, pepperminty and creamy. Nice on its own or as a latte.
I tried it both with just sugar and with sugar and milk. It is better with just sugar. The peppermint flavoring is nice. It is not overpowering--I'd actually add a bit more peppermint leaves. The candies dissolve into the tea, which may result in the taste lingering but not in a bad way. It's a delightful alternative black tea to keep you cozy on a colder day.
I wasn't sure what to expect with this. It smells amazing and tastes like the holidays.
This Candy Cane black tea is pretty delicious- perfect for the cold winter nights. It's sweet and slightly minty from the candy cane, and definitely smells the part. The black tea gives it a full-bodied flavor, whose slight bitterness is masked by the candy cane pieces.
This is the perfect treat for when you want something sweet and a little spicy without the calories. Will definitely buy this one again!! It's more than just a seasonal delight. Yum!
Love the pieces of candy cane in this tea! I pick them out and eat them 🤣
So delicious! Love how adagio has so many great tea options at great prices. Love this tea
Really good tea, love it! You can really taste the mint. Will definitely buy this tea again in the future.
This is tasty both hot and chilled. It is just the right amount of sweetness combined with the peppermint to be soothing but not overpowered by mint.
This is a really nice tea. Peppermint flavor hit me as soon as I opened the pouch. Added a touch of honey and a splash of milk, helped bring out the flavors more.
I mixed some chocolate chip with the candy cane today, it was sweet with cream and monk sugar added to it.
I'll do my best to emulate the style of reviews here, so here it is. Perfect blend of mint and black Ceylon tea flavors, slightly sweet notes, like when you watch your high school mates pick up heroine habit. Matches well with New York Times crossword puzzle, London Review of Books, and WQXR. I brew it precisely at 373.15 degrees Kelvin, 101.325 kilopascals (760 torrs if you prefer), using locally sourced tears of orphans instead of water. If you can't get the tears, water obtained by melting the iceberg immediately after rudely shoving a polar bear off it, might also work.
It tastes amazing, just wished the mint was more stronger
I had this before with the Advent Calendar and got more soon after. A really nice bold mint tea that brims with coolness in your mouth despite the hotness. Would recommend for any peppermint lovers.
I will confess that I can drink Candy Cane tea all year round. It is the perfect balance of tea with mint, the perfect amount of sweetness, no additional sugar is required. This is my favorite tea to drink when I need an afternoon boost. I hope they always continue this tea!
Delicious and festive! Tastes just like a candy cane!! My wife loves this tea however and would say it is the absolute best!
One of my all-time favorites year-round. The perfect balance of peppermint and black tea. Refreshing and tasty!
Tastes and smells like a candy cane in your cup! Lovely peppermint with a sweetness that allows you to enjoy it without adding sugar. That is a plus, this time of year!
