Candy cane has become a household staple. Wonderful candy cane flavor, perfect for the holiday season (and incredible with soy chocolate milk)!

Christmas on your taste buds! I sincerely thought that the taste of peppermint would overwhelm all the other flavors, but that is not the case! You can clearly feel the slight and pleasant sweetness of candy in this smooth mix whether you drink it warm or piping hot!

I LOVE this tea. I'm working my way through my second bag of it. The smooth base, and the crisp mellowness of the mint - wonderful.

★★★★★

My mom, niece, and nephew love this tea. It's definitely a seasonal flavor but it's nice without being too strong. I prefer it with cream and sugar.

I think I just have a Candy Cane green tea that I love so much that these versions are just not as good. I felt this one had an artificial aftertaste.

★☆☆☆☆

Couldn't make it past 2 sips, it was just too bitter. Tried it again with a shorter brew time, and still had the same result.

★★★★★

This is my favorite holiday tea. I finished a tin of it and ordered a bag to refill it. Bold and refreshing—the perfect morning pick me up during the holidays.

This has a nice sweet candy cane menthol flavor that balances out the bitter black tea. The mint is subtle but definitely present.

I liked this tea very much, it has a great minty flavor and a rich holiday vibe. I much prefer flavored black teas and this one is great for the holidays.

★★★★★

I'm partial to minty teas and this one is putting me in the holiday spirit in the middle of October! The sweetness of the peppermint counteracts any bitterness of the black tea making the two a perfect pairing.

This tea reminds me of the buttermint in the candy dishes in my childhood home. I love the mintiness of this Candy Cane blend. I took a good deep whiff of the dry packet and then took a glass of morning water with my medicines and would you believe it my medicine tasted minty, just from smelling it. Strong ,delicious,& invigorating mint. I love it. I NEED this blend in my life.

It was an okay tea, the mint flavor is very strong, but it has a tendency to get bitter and there is an almost buttery scent and flavor that, to me, is rather off-putting. I wouldn’t get this tea again.

I really liked this tea! I don't normally like mint in my tea...to me it tends to taste like chewing gum. However, this one does taste, like other have suggested, a candy cane, a peppermint patty, etc. The min is cooling but sweet and smooth and candyish. Vanilla, buttery, creamy. This would be a great tea to combine with other complementary flavors like vanilla, chocolate, maybe some fruits, or a good puerh. Give it a try!

Can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this one yet!
I love Christmas, and I love this tea! It tastes just as you’d expect a Candy Cane tea to taste—super strong and minty. Absolutely superb

I really loved this tea! From the first sip your senses are filled with peppermint goodness. After the last sip there is lingering minty freshness. Wonderful any time of the year.

This tea was okay, but I had to modify it with some white chocolate, it really helped smooth out the harsh minty flavor, which is odd to say because this tea does have a buttery taste to it. I liked the buttery richness, but that mint was a little on the strong side for me, didn't quite taste like the candy cane flavor I was expecting. I wouldn't say it's a bad tea, but I think my preference leans more to
the White Chocolate Peppermint blend. In the end, I say Candy Cane is definitely worth trying!

Oct 24 and 11.29.23 still one of my faves. Puts me in the best seasonal nostalgic mood

this is just delightful and to me even more christmas -in-a-cup than 'christmas' blend is. not artificial-tasting. really tastes like a candy cane. great winter black tea. smell puts me in a good mood. oversteeping would make it too bitter/strong.

I love that this isn't just a mint tea. It has a deeper, creamy vanilla flavor mixed in that blends well with the mint. This is a personal favorite for me during the holiday season. A fresh tea to have with the first snow fall.

I prefer Casablanca mint over this if I am in the mood for a minty tea. But if you want some black tea and mint this isn’t a bad one to go for

This is so good. Not at all harsh like some peppermint flavored things can be. It is smooth and almost creamy. I just love it!!

A bit disappointed. The mint could be stronger, but is better sweetened

I love this tea. I buy enough to have it year-round; I get a craving for it now and then. You can easily cut it with another black (I prefer an Assam) to quiet the peppermint. I would imagine it would happily blend with another chocolate tea too. Definitely one to help you get into the spirit of the holiday season.

This is so minty! I've had other peppermint black teas that were too bitter or not minty enough. This is perfect, I get a little sweetness and vanilla with the perfect minty kick!

★★★★★

Our family tore through this and it’s helping us power through grey days of February. Hints of festive candy cane but with a kick.

This was perfect as Christmas gift tea bags. It taste just like a candycane and makes each afternoon smell festive!

★★★★★

Absolutely amazing. It's got just enough mint to feel cool, just like a real candy cane. It's good plain or with a touch of added sweetness. The black tea base really holds it all together when it's plain, and any added sweetness gives it that true candy cane feel. It's particularly good with rock sugar (like the Amber Sugar Crystals on Adagio).

My absolute favorite teas for the holidays. Sweet without being overpowering. Delicious anytime. Amazing with or without sugar and milk. A new family favorite.

★★★★★

Peppermint for the win! This is a seasonal favorite for me.

Best latte ever. Wanted a sharp mint to cut through the dairy& here it is. Ill never go back to Starbucks peppermint mocha since I can steep this in hot cocoa and get a much better result!

★★★★★

Absolutely perfect! The name says it all. The tea even has tiny bits of candy cane in it. It's minty and fun.

★★★★★

This is my favorite adagio tea! Such a great mint flavor, strong but not overwhelming. It smells fantastic too.

★★★★★

I drink this mixed with a spoonful of honey and a swig of milk (oat or cow’s milk is preferred) and to me it’s an essential holiday drink. It sits next to eggnog and hot chocolate. Festive and delicious and makes me want a second cup every time! ❤️

★★★☆☆

The mint was a little too strong for me - more peppermint leaf than candy cane. An enjoyable tea if that's what you're in the mood for, but not the Christmassy tea I was looking for.

I recently ventured into the world of festive flavors with Adiago's Candy Cane Black Tea, and I must say it was a unique experience that left me with mixed feelings.

Upon opening the package, the unmistakable aroma of candy canes filled the air, promising a delightful and seasonal tea adventure. The presentation was, as expected, top-notch, reflecting Adiago's commitment to quality.

However, as I took my first sip, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was a bit off. The black tea base was robust and well-balanced, but the addition of the candy cane flavor was a bit peculiar. The sweetness was there, reminiscent of the beloved holiday treat, but it somehow clashed with the rich and bold nature of the black tea. The result was a taste that I found a bit weird and unexpected.

The candy cane flavor, while present, felt artificial and overpowering at times, creating a somewhat discordant note in the overall composition. It's worth noting that taste preferences are subjective, and some may enjoy the bold fusion of black tea and candy cane, but for me, it didn't quite hit the mark.

On a positive note, the tea did evoke a sense of holiday nostalgia, and the festive touch is sure to appeal to those who enjoy experimenting with unconventional flavor combinations. The brewing process was straightforward, and the tea leaves themselves were of good quality.

In conclusion, Adiago's Candy Cane Black Tea offers a festive twist that might appeal to adventurous tea enthusiasts. While the blend is undeniably creative, the clash between the robust black tea and the candy cane flavor made it a bit weird for my taste. If you're someone who loves bold experiments, this tea might be worth a try, but it might not be everyone's cup of tea.
