The smell of mint from the bag is intense! The strong mint flavor blends well with the black tea. Candy Cane tea is a favorite in our house!
I honestly just can’t with this one. I was SO excited about it too. But it was very oily, not a pleasant taste, like peppermint essential oil (I LOVE peppermint) straight up. It also left an oily coating in my mouth and throat.
It smelled like those “soft” candy canes when I opened it. It was very minty, almost that menthol mint with a hint of vanilla. It’s a black tea and had a black tea after taste. I added a touch of oat milk Towards the end and that was tasty. I think actual creamer would be delightful in this.
This was delicious. Has a nice malty balance with a strong peppermint flavor. Highly recommended if you like peppermint flavor.

OMG-This, first and foremost, is the best smelling tea EVER! Also, I don’t typically like sweet black teas (or sweet teas) but the peppermint gives it that extra spiciness and punch.

This is a very nice tasting tea, especially if you put a little honey in it. That said, it does just taste like any other peppermint tea.

Definitely one of my favorite teas. It's perfectly Christmas-y. The black tea is very smooth. The candy cane flavor is perfect, not overwhelming at all, balanced just right with the tea. It's emphatically not just a peppermint flavor, but the flavor of a candy cane specifically.
Because of the candy cane pieces it's already a little sweet when it's brewed but I do add just a little sugar because I've got a sweet tooth. It doesn't want any milk for me.
I got this tea in the Christmas teas sampler set and after my first cup of candy cane I bought a big bag of it. Looking forward to making it my new Christmas tradition!!
Waaaay too minty for my tastes, to be honest. Not like a mint tea -- I love mint tea and drink it often! -- but like a breath mint. Nicer with a lot of oat milk and some sugar. I love most Adagio flavored teas, but this was one of their rare misses.

This is right up my alley. I look forward to limited-edition holiday peppermint-flavored chocolate and ice cream all year, like some people wait for pumpkin spice things to show up in the fall. This isn't just a regular peppermint-flavored black tea. Similar, but there's a deeper, creamy candy-like quality to the flavor as well. If there are any candy pieces in there, they are very small since I can't really see them, but the flavor works really well here. 4 stars = I don't think I like it well enough to drink it every day, but I'll likely be ordering more once the sample runs out and have it from time to time as a break from my standard flavors.

Wow! I was reluctant to try this one - although I m fond of the mint flavored green tea, I just didn t think a minty black tea could be very good. I am delighted to discover how wrong I was. The flavors in this tea work beautifully together. The mint tones are bright and fresh, but are also tempered by the black tea so that the mint doesn t overpower. While this is a welcome addition to my holiday tea selection, this is a tea I ll want to have on hand year-round. A wonderful surprise, I m glad I gave it a try.

I was planning to wait until after Thanksgiving to open this tea--so glad I didn't! It's delicious and decadent. I wasn't sure about the candy cane pieces, as I try to avoid added sugar, but they are are tiny and just enough to add a pop of color and flavor. Lovely!
This tea is better than I thought it would be. It has a nice creamy mint taste that isn’t over powering but is the focal point. Glad I ordered the big bag.

Amazing tea! The black tea pairs very nicely with the mint and none of the flavors are too overpowering. My one complaint would be that there’s a bit of a bitter/dry aftertaste but that shouldn’t be a problem if you have food with it or add sugar (it’s okay without added sweetener but MUCH better with it)
Solid peppermint black tea, although it had a very sweet and almost artificial edge to the smell. The flavor was a good balance between the tea and peppermint flavors.
I was concerned at first cause it has an overwhelming vanilla smell. But with a little touch of cream it absolutely tastes like a candy cane.
