My son absolutely adores this tea. He said it's sweet without being overpowering.

★★★★★

A beautiful black that smells like Autumn when opening the package, Candy Apple is positively chock-full of apple pieces - no tricks here, only treats!

This tea brews with the sweet smell of caramel apples, and when brewed at 195F rather than 212F, lacks for the typical bitterness one can get in black teas. A splash of oat milk and a bit of brown sugar, and I've got a lovely, warm caramel flavor that fills my cup, with light apple notes running throughout. As the cup cools, the flavor balance shifts and the apple emerges more prominently, bringing a fruity juiciness to the fore that makes it all the more enjoyable.
Truly, caramel and apple were made for one another.

This tea was pretty good. It tasted exactly like what you would expect, a candy apple. There were quite a few apple pieces in mine. I would say that the sweet candy portion was slightly stronger than the apple but overall still a pretty good blend.

It took me a few tries to get this one right, but it's starting to grow on me. It's fruity and sweet, but not at all like I imagined. I think I'd prefer a caramel apple tea to candy apple, but this is a good occasional treat.

★★★★☆

Very sweet and apple-y, its a good tea if you're in the mood for it.

★★★★☆

A deliciously crisp and sweet apple tea. Sensitive to overbrewing or it can become too tart, so I tend to brew it a little shorter and a lower temperature for the first steep.

A little bitter but maybe I just brewed it too long, gives kind of an apple pie taste in my opinion but it is really good!

★★★★★

a fun and delicious fall time treat. snagged a 16 oz bag to start my mornings for months!

★★★★★

I love the apple taste that comes through! I heat my water to 175.

Candy Apple isn t my cup of tea. I am not a big fan of apple flavored teas at the moment so it doesn t appeal. @adagioteas

★★☆☆☆

My husband did not like this at all. It didn't smell that great either. I want to return it but they only give in store credit and I'm hesitant of their teas already.

★★★★★

It took a while for me to warm up to this one: it didn't taste quite like I expected, and I wasn't quite sure I liked it at first, but I ended up growing to like it.

★★★★★

A good tea to buy again! I love sweet teas with fruity hints

★★★★★

I look forward to this tea every fall. It is a nice black tea with a taste of candy apple

★★★★☆

Sweet and tasty black tea, just a bit fruity, and good with milk!

This tea started out yummy and just kept getting better the more it cooled. The strongest flavors that came out to me was a sweet brown sugar and caramel flavor. Under that there was the rich black tea base and hints of cinnamon and sour apples. Delicious!

Sooooo good. Add in some sugar and cream to give that extra yum. I got some for my friends for the Christmas.

★★★☆☆

This is more caramel apple than candy apple. I think of candy apple as cinnamon and there was no spice to this tea at all. It was more caramel nut. It wasn't bad, just not what i was expecting. I'm also not as fond of the fake cream/caramel/nut flavors. If you like those - you'll like this one.

This blend is quite strong, I got 3 tea pots out of one scoop and honestly the 3rd one tasted best bc the other 2 were a little too dark for my taste. Flavors are great though @adagioteas

A favorite of my sons it is very flavorful, love it

I have to admit I was surprised to enjoy this teas as much as I did. Originally had planned it to be a purchase for my wife, but after trying it this tea will be added to my regular teas that I cycle through. This tea has a great flavor and stands up well. I also cold-brew this tea and it does very well as an ice tea.

★★★★☆

Good tea for autumn, nice, non-artificial tasting apple flavour

Every time I sink my fangs into this tea I 'fall' more in love with it(Groans are welcome and expected). Brings me back to Halloween as a child, trick or treating and hayrides galore, but caution! It's hard to stop once you start and, if you're like me, you'll want a caramel apple sucker for dessert.

My niece requested this one. It’s her favorite. Love that she loves your tea too!!!

BITTER AFTERTASTE: I didn't heat or steep too long, just according to directions but the foretaste while decent was followed by a pronounced bitter aftertaste that was not enjoyable. If you are a big black tea fan then perhaps you won't mind but if black tea is just an occasional treat for you, this would be a no, for me anyway.

★★★★★

Super tasty, especially if you add just a pinch of sugar to really bring out the flavors! And I do mean a tiny pinch. It’s already decently sweet enough on its own.

★★★★☆

This tea is sweet without adding honey. The smell is refreshing and relaxing.

★★★★★

Best fall tea here on the site. I would recommend to even the pickiest of tea drinkers @adagioteas

This is a perfectly fine tea. But it is nothing special either. It was fine to try, but I don t need a bigger bag. @adagioteas

It was good. Wouldn’t say it tastes exactly like candle apple, more of just a sweet taste. Thought I wouldn’t like it because of the black tea but it’s hard to tell it was black tea. So if your worried about that black tea taste you should be fine.

I really enjoyed the tea as a first time tea drinker, I’ve been using some milk and honey to help with the taste as I saw these tips helped some others who’ve had it before, I’m going to try using a creamer next time to see if that improves the taste some more overall I’m extremely happy with this.

I enjoyed this sample of this tea. It is not the best tea but it is enjoyable

★★★☆☆

This tea had a strong artificial smell but gladly doesn't taste artificial. I found this tea just okay with a mild apple flavor. This won't be one my favorite but makes a decent cup for a Fall day.

★★★★☆

This tea is ok. It's not my favorite of the holiday teas but it's good if you like apple flavor.

★★★★★

Lovely flavor. I will absolutely be reordering to keep on hand.

★★★★☆

This tea has a sweet, apple aroma, like cider and candied apples. It is best hot. As it cools, it loses some of the apple taste, but continues to be sweet. A good tea for autumn.

The blend is good!I've tried different type of apple related tea and while it's not bad but if you want something different or something like 'spiced'' you might like this one!

★★★★☆

Wow! The candy apple smell hits you the minute you open this tea. The flavor isn’t quite as potent, but it’s still a nice holiday treat!

Bought this for my Boo, she is very fond of it. A mildly spiced tea that develops the taste of apple into about mid cup.

Very aromatic strong tea. Has a very sweet aftertaste. generally matches cold and windy weather. The best tea I have tried from this shop.

I had this with some non-dairy cream and sugar, and it helps mellow out the black tea so the apple can shine more. It's like a tangy apple pie!

★★★☆☆

Very strong caramel aroma from the dry tea. I steeped at 190°F x 3 minutes and sweetened slightly. The caramel flavor was much more mild than its aroma. I mostly tasted apple with a hint of cinnamon. No tartness or bitterness was noted.

Fall deliciousness!! Who doesn’t like the bitter-sweet taste of candy apple in the Fall? Wonderful to indulge in after a great meal!

★★★☆☆

10/26/21 Candy Apple in CommuniTEA, so close to Halloween, begs comparison to Candy Apple Concoction from the seasonal Wicked Teas set on my countertop nearby. Candy Apple on its own is perfectly enjoyable. It’s a sweet apple tea with a slight warm aftertaste from the otherwise undetectable cinnamon. There is nothing wrong with it but also nothing spectacular. I would note that the flavor is more of a caramel apple than a candy apple, however.

I have to doctor this one up too much. Very little apple flavor, but add a little sour apple and this is a good blend. Had to sweeten this more than normal to draw out candy apple flavors. Also added creamer to help with the caramel flavor and to help with some of the bitterness. After modifications it ended up being a good dessert tea if you’re looking for something really sweet and creamy. Steeped 195° for 3 mins. Cheers!

I'm not a fan of maple and that's what this tea tasted like to me. Adding cream and sweetener didn't help.
