Good tea but having to write a review that is at least 50 characters is stupid.
Ceylon black tea infused with sweetly tart berries. Floral-fruity and bakery aroma, like fresh berry scones.

Good tea but having to write a review that is at least 50 characters is stupid.
This tea has a great blackberry flavor and a smooth black tea finish. I enjoy mine with a bit of honey and sometimes a dash of lemon.
I didn't care for the flavor at first. It took awhile for it to grow on me. I still prefer other teas more.
At first I didn't care for this tea but by following the brewing instructions more carefully I've found that the flavor is compelling. Now it is one of my favorite teas.
Natural tasting blackberry, reminds me of the Lipton blackberry I use to drink as a kid that is no longer made. Very soothing to me partly for the nostalgia.
I love this blackberry tea, i was afraid it would be too sweet like alot of fruity teas are.
love the fruity notes this delicious tea. could drink it every day.
I had read the reviews on this one about a slight medicinal taste but wanted to try it anyway. I have to agree about the taste. Not one I will purchase again.
Strong aroma when opening the bag. We do use sugar in our tea. This one needed more than our usual amount on the first steep. Second steep was good prepared as we normally do. (Also, second steep is 4 mins.)
Jammy, true-to-fruit flavor. Definitely worthwhile if you like blackberries.
Do be careful not to oversteep, though. The bittersweet flavor can easily become way too bitter.
This is one of my favorite flavored black teas, it's especially good in the summertime iced!
I loved the blackberry flavor in this, and it made a terrific iced tea.
Smells very nice in the bag, nice and fruity. First brewed, it smells like cough syrup, and I didn't want to even try it. But I did and it doesn't taste the way it smells brewed, it tastes more like it smells in the bag, which is a pleasant berry. Cold, it kind of tastes like the berry from the bag with a hint of cough syrup. I think it's the raspberry leaves. Not my favorite, but it's drinkable.
A favorite of mine on summer mornings. Don’t steep too long though!
Very flavorful! I use this as an iced tea! I will order this one again
My husband & I both love to eat fresh Blackberries & when I opened up this tea, it has a most wonderful aroma of blackberries. I have found that some teas have to grow on me, not this one, I enjoyed it to the fullest the first time I brewed it & still do; one of our favorites!
Absolutely Love this tea. Great BlackBerry flavor. Great hot or cold.
I love fruit teas and this is no different. (2 min at 212)
Blackberry was the very first Flavored black tea that I had. I was a kid at the time and a certain tea bag company came out with Blackberry brandy. My grandmother would serve me that. This tea reminds me of those day. So much I even used it in my own Tea-rific blend. Because I grew up drinking this tea with cream and sugar. I wanted a little cream. However I will admit it was just as lovely with out the Cream.
With a little sweetner this reminds me of blackberry syrup. Yum.
Part of the October 2020 CommuniTEA box. I probably shouldn’t have drank this at night before bed. That aside, the tea is simple and sweet, even without any sugar, and quite a joy to taste.
Great fruity black tea. Make sure not to oversteep it. 2-3 minutes. I like it with a bit of milk and sweetener
The dry tea's scent all comes from the berry flavoring powder: but it smells more like blueberry than blackberry. If I angle my communiTEA packet just right I can get an almost chocolate-y scent from the black tea itself. Freshly brewed, the scent is crowded: I can smell the bitter astringency of the black tea and can even pre-emptively feel it a little bit--and the fruity scent of the blackberries (it smells like blackberry now) physically sticks inside of my nose. Never had a tea with a nosefeel (as apposed to a mouthfeel) before.
I really dislike astringent teas, and this black tea is definitely astringent. I can taste the blackberry for just a split second (it's a very nice, strong fruitiness!) before a splitting bitterness pops up, my mouth tastes like dirt and I impulsively stick out my tongue. There was no way I was going to drink more than a few microsips of this tea, so I gave it to my tasting partner who likes black teas to sample and rate.
He said that it benefited from a bit of sugar, and that it was primarily fruity; a little sweet; with the flavor of black tea in the background. 'Solidly in 'good' category', he gave it 4 stars.
This is the sort of tea where if I tried it again, I would definitely try the advice I saw of 'brew at 90C to cut the bitterness'. I think that would let the fruitiness really shine.
This isn't my favorite. I get the same astringent taste others have mentioned. I prefer the blackberry sage oolong.
Some sugar helps the flavor pop a little, but overall it’s a bit bitter. It does have a fruity hint, but it’s not my thing.
(October CommuniTEA box)
This tea is ok, smells great, but the blackberry flavor was somewhat artificial.
I loved this tea! I added a little honey. The depth of flavor is spot on and natural. Also, has a wonderful aroma.
This tea was an absolutely heavenly surprise. The BlackBerry flavor was phenomenal..this was a must have tea!
Very bitter and medicinal tasting, even when brewing per instructions.
This tea is super fruity and refreshing. Great with milk and sweetener.
This is a lovely black tea. The berry flavor is excellent.
Very pleasant smell, a little sugar really brought out the fruity notes! Very nice way to start the day, but I am thinking it would make a better iced tea than hot.
Delicious tea, I love the fruitiness. Decent black blend.
This tea definitely has a blackberry tartness to it. Plain, I give it 4 stars, but I give it 5 stars when sweetener is added to it.
After seeing other's reviews, I missed out by not adding a touch of sugar for a stronger fruity presence. Without anything it was alright (CommuniTEA)
I love fruit teas. This one was pretty good. I did get a nice blackberry taste from it. For some reason, fruity teas tend to taste better to me when cold brewed so that is how I brewed this one. Worked perfectly for it.
I over steeped mine so this review might not be fair would love to give it another try.
I loved it! Definitely much better than I expected. I put some cream in it and it was perfect. I definitely tasted the blackberry much more than I expected.
This is a delicious fruity tea! A touch of sugar really brings the blackberry to front. It was wonder hot, and absolutely amazing iced. Definitely a summer time staple!
Deep, rich blackberry taste. Dark and fruity, brews well.
It has a definite berry taste, but not true blackberry. I found it enjoyable with sugar. I tried half with creamer after seeing a suggestion for it and liked it even more. I placed some of the tea with creamer in the fridge to get cold. Wow, did that bring out the berry taste!
I find this to be a nice, mild black tea. Vaguely fruity, but definitely no overpowering artificial taste.
Not nearly as sweet as I expected! This has a nice aroma of blackberry, but the black tea flavor is much stronger and overwhelms the blackberry. It’s a little astringent which I imagine is from the raspberry leaves. It’s nice to drink a fruity tea that isn’t so focused on being sweet. It isn’t my favorite, but it’s nice enough that I’m enjoying my cup. 3mins at 212°F
Really good with cream and a touch of honey, it's a bit astringent without the cream.
I like the berry flavor in this tea and I've always had a preference for black teas so this combination works well. Almost verging on a medicinal flavor memory but the sugar I added helped to dispel that. I definitely enjoyed this one.
Not a fan of this one. Bitter Medicine in flavor.
This is good for a simple fruity black tea as long as you don't over steep. I could see this being a good iced or cold brew tea and would work well in a blend.
Nice blackberry aroma dry in the packet. Brewed, the raspberry leaves and tea were bitter. Adding more honey than I normally add to ceylon helped the flavor along, but the raspberry leaves created more of that dry tannin-y taste than they usually do- reminded me of the taste of blackberry seeds, but too much. This tea was ok, and I drank more of it than I expected, but didn't brew a second cup. The taste sort of grew on me, but I think this would be better in blends and much prefer the blackberry sage oolong where the sweetness of the sage and the smooth oolong make the raspberry leaves a gentler note rather than the dominating flavor they became in this tea. 3 stars because I could taste the good tea underneath, and unfortunately, after I made my tea I saw reviews saying to try brewing at a lower temp to improve flavor, more like at 200... Next time!
It was fine! Definitely a black tea, not sure about the blackberry aspect. It does have a blackberry-ish smell to it. A great pick me up in the afternoon, but not my favorite.
I tried today's tea with the CommuniTea and I really enjoyed it! Normally I'm a huge fan of berry tea's iced, but since this was blackberry and raspberry leaves I decided to drink it hot with a spot of honey. It turned out excellent, a very relaxing cup of tea.
I loved this tea...even my 11 year old daughter asked for a cup when she smelled the blackberry tea. Of course, I added honey to both cups and we both enjoyed it on this chilly fall day!
