By it's self I am not a huge fan of the tea. It's a bit bland and in others it comes off as too sweet. For me I prefer it when it's mixed with other teas. It really shines then but by itself not so much. By far though it is not the worse I have tried and don't mind it on occasion.
Not bad could use more flavor but good taste very smooth
I have tired this hot and cold and it just is ok for me. I might need to try and use this as a blend with something else to enjoy more
This tea is really good, a deep full bodied black tea. The blackberry taste is pronounced but in the best way.
I love to drink this as an iced tea mixed with a tiny bit of the almond tea.
I love fruit teas, so I may be biased, but this was a lovely tea with all the right notes. It was delicious and perfect for all weather.
Deeeeelicious... all on it's own, without any sugar, honey, or even lemon juice {which I'm partial too in mt tea} this made a fantastic cup and was even better over ice. Glad I grabbed this sample and will likely be working this into a new custom blend very soon.
This tea smells delicious! It brews a tad bitter but the blackberry flavor makes up for it.

Blackberries are probably my favorite fruit. That might be part of why this disappointed me so much. I cold steeped it, like the rest of Adagio's flavored blacks (trust me, it is the cure for the black base bitterness problem), and it was STILL leaning on bitter, and the blackberry was faint. Kind of meh.
The tea smells wonderful, even giving off a faint chocolate scent (which would be a great tea for blending). However, I brewed this tea several times and I find it bitter, even when I add a bit of honey to it.
Excellent tea, the blackberry flavor is very distinct and rich. It definitely feels like a BLACKBERRY, vs. just raspberry - which I need to try next, I think - because it's not sharp or sour or generally tangy. Great with sugar and thankfully accepts cream without the curdle-effect that sometimes happens with fruity teas. :D
OMG. This is the best berry flavored tea I have ever tasted. Tastes like jam and needs no sweetener at all.
I tried this one a while back and just forgot to write a review. I love to make ice tea with this one! Deliciously refreshing. Makes a regular ice tea kicked up a notch!

I really did not like this tea, at all. When I think of blackberries, I think of tart, sweet, *slightly* floral--this tea was overly perfumey. The blackberry flavor tasted fake (not saying it was fake, just tasted that way). Not a fan.
This brings me back to my childhood, where my school had wild blackberries growing in the back of the playground. This was superb both with and without sugar. Very smooth, even when oversteeped.
Solid tea - strong tea flavor with a fruity hint of berry. Recommended.

Yum, this is are new favorite iced tea. It has a light blackberry taste at the end. Have not tried it hot yet.
Damn near a perfect blackberry tea. Sweet and tart and very fruity. Added to my favorites instantly. Perfect for an everyday tea and is awesome hot or cold.
This is lovely! The problem with a lot of flavored teas is that they often have TOO MUCH flavor. Not so with this tea. It's great iced.
This tea isn't one of my favorites stand alone. It's a bit too weak (for me) to work as the sole flavor, but I enjoy it added to other mixes.
To me, the berry flavor is pretty subtle. I do like this one with some Cream tea blended in.
I'm not typically a fan of the flavored teas but this tea is an exception! I'm absolutely obsessed. It tastes like the softest, sweetest little blackberries. Delicious hot or iced. Big, big fan.
It was okay, somewhat disappointing compared to what I've come to expect from Adagio's flavored teas. Not bad by any means, just nothing special.
When I ordered this tea, I had in mind a flavour of shisha I'd tried at the local hookah bar. In general, blackberries are a bit more 'mature', 'bold', or 'dark' in flavour than raspberries, blueberries, etc., which have- to me -a more fruity/brighter taste.
This tea delivers on the darker taste, which is a pleasure. It smells splendid, and I am thankful for that also.
Despite everything it has going for it, it seems to me as though this tea lacks a punch, or hook. It comes of as good, but almost as though it is satisfied with being just 'good' and not at all interested in being 'great'. I hate to personify tea (actually, I likely enjoy it), and although this tea is good, it comes off somewhat bland in its lack of personality.

This just give me the sense of drinking a muted blackberry. I mean this in the best possible way.
Definitely more black tea than blackberry - I've tried several steeping times, with and without sugar, and the sample I tried is hard pressed to have the flavor of blackberry. It does, however, have a faint scent of it. Going to keep trying with this one to see if I can make the taste come out and play.
somewhat of a tart flavor to it. I like to add a little rock sugar to balance it out.

Tasty. I found this to be attempting to accomplish the same thing as the raspberry, though, and the raspberry comes out ahead.
The blackberry flavor is very nice. however it can easily be too subtle or too strong depending on your steeping. I say, when in doubt, steep for less time than you think you should. That said, if you find yourself steeping heavily, it's still a tasty tea - perhaps just a bit darker and harsher than you'd anticipate. True to name flavor and smell though, probably works well when underplayed in blends.
Lovely, light and fruity. A nice pick up after a long day at work. Its not as tart as I thought it was going to be, but delicious non the less.
Not a fan. Tastes like fake blackberry, too fruity and not well rounded. I was looking for a better balanced blackberry tea, something like a blackberry sage tea I once had that was fantastic.
This one is a little tricky. It smells amazing, but when brewed, it either does not taste like anything, or it tastes just like artificial blackberries. I've had it in blends before, though, so it pairs up with other teas well and can be useful that way.
Delicious taste, even my husband loved it and he isn't a tea drinker.

I have a fetish for this tea - it is SO good! Tart and a little sweet with sugar and just all-together lovely. I prefer it in blends, personally, but it plays well with everything I've tried so far. Versatile and yummy. Definitely donna overbrew it thoigh - three to three and a half minutes works well. A definite favourite!
A nice, subtle tea. When I took a whiff of the loose tea, I thought it would be fruitier, but the blackberry flavor is actually not terribly noticeable. There's something vaugely perfumey about the taste...

Decadent. That is the word that came to mind when I first took a sip of this tea. It tastes like getting revenge on someone that wronged you and they don't know that it was you behind the plot. If that makes any sense.

Very good with cream and sugar. The blackberry flavor sort of sits in the background, and needs some sugar to really stand out.
To say I'm pleased with this tea would be an understatement. The blackberry taste is full without being overpowering. It blends nicely with the black tea. It's nice to not lose the berry flavor, or have it overpower the tea.
