A blackberry in a cup!
With no additives:
Strong, clear flavor leaves a mild aftertaste. Taste is tart and naturally sweet - exactly like the blackberries I picked off bushes in Virginia! A refreshing, unique tea.
WARNING: Depending on your strainer, little pieces of loose tea will escape into your mug. They are not big and reminded me of the seeds in the berry.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Nice sweet tea. Perfect iced or hot. Only negative is that it leaves a bit of a residue in infuser for a couple cups.
Another sample I got for an order. I'm not too fond of black teas. I just wish there was more flavor than anything else with this one.
Ice Ice Baby. A must for any Iced tea drinker. This tea is great on its own or with a splash of honey. You don't want to add too much sweetness, you'll cover up the amazing blackberry taste.
Oh wow this is shockingly good. I have bad luck with Adagio flavored teas. They are very bitter to me. And I over brewed this one, so it was bitter. However, the sweetness of the flavoring cut the bitterness. It was more than drinkable, and I way over brewed it. I consider that a huge success in my book. I really like the flavor of this tea. The tartness of the berries blend well with the black tea. The berry flavor tastes very pleasant and natural. I'll likely buy more of this. It's not my favorite Adagio flavored tea (RIP Guanabana), but it's lovely. Also, for some reason Blackberry seems like a good winter tea. I guess it's kind of a winter berry? I don't know, but this tea reads Fall to me.
I was super pumped to see a blackberry tea in the Adiago selections. I ordered the sample and found that it's just okay. If Adiago could add more blackberry flavor, this tea would be a winner.

i like this one cause it has a lot of flavor and richness. perfect to just sit and enjoy.
I really like this tea. I brew it for about a minute or so less than instructions say though. if you brew it too long it can be a little bitter. Once I got the brew time where I wanted it, I really enjoyed it.
One of my favorites! A subtle blackberry flavor and good with anything
It's a perfectly tasty tart fruity tea (that doesn't use hibiscus!), but it doesn't have the same clarity of fruit or tea flavor as the raspberry, so I probably won't order it again.

I really like fruit teas and this fruit tea is very good. I love Black berries, especially ones I find in the wild when I'm actually doing berry picking. This tea tastes just like those fresh picked berries.

This tea tastes just as lovely as it smells! I had tried a hibiscus-blackberry blend earlier and like that quite a bit, and I like the straight blackberry tea just as much.

This tea is sweet and true to its blackberry flavor, but still too tart for me as most fruit teas are.
The berry comes through more subtly than I expected and blends nicely with the black tea. A touch of sugar or honey makes this a pleasant morning tea with brunch.
Tastes absolutely delicious! Other than the obvious taste of blackberries, there is a very slight leafy taste in the background that I noticed. This is a great tea and I would definitely recommend it to a friend!
It's ok, but the blackberry flavor tastes a little chemical-ish. Almost like blackberry chewing gum. Probably won't order this one again.

I am a fruity fan, and the blackberry in this tea really stands out. I used to pick blackberries by the gallon as a kid and the flavor of this tea brings back those familiar smells on berries piling up in my bucket! Very fresh blackberry flavor.
I really didn't taste the blackberry flavor as much as you smell it. Shame too because it smells great.

This tea has a wonderful, rich blackberry flavor. I'd expected a light berry taste, maybe something only slightly different from the raspberry, but was pleasantly surprised. The blackberry flavor really comes through, making this one of my new favorite teas. I sweeten it with a little honey. It's good with or without milk.
This tea has a deep blackberry flavor, not too sweet.
I really enjoy this tea, yet I must say this does not taste like blackberry. The flavor is rather weak but has a good aftertaste and doesn't seem to get too bitter. As much as I like it, there are other teas I enjoy more, so I probably won't be reordering this one for quite some time.

In the bag this tea has a rich smell of blackberry, distinct and different from other berry flavors. As someone who isn't too excited about blueberry, this is a nice alternative to the bright strawberry and orange teas. The flavor is more subdued once the tea is brewed, but I would prefer that instead of a candy-like punch in the face. Subtle, dark fruit sweetness in with a quality black tea. It's interesting and enjoyable on its own without sugar or milk, though I'm sure that would be a way to bring out more of the blackberry flavor. This is a berry not all tea shops have, so I'm glad Adagio makes it.
I love fresh blackberries. I will eat them constantly when they are in season and cheap. This tea only faintly tastes like berries, and it doesn't specifically taste like blackberry. Maybe I just didn't steep it right.
I kinda wish it tasted more like fresh blackberries rather than a blackberry dessert, but hey. It was still tasty, just not what I wanted at the time.
