I find as with quite a lot of the flavors, I enjoy this tea both not and iced! As it is still not here in the Great State of Texas, I find I am still drinking more iced teas then got still, this tea I was over joyed to find does NOT taste like cough syrup, like so many cherry flavored teas do, not does it taste to lollipop sweet! It taste as if you have gotten into a nice ripe cherry! Yummy! I also found giving this tea an extra minute to steep have it a more full body flavor! This tea is great with a touch of honey, you can also add cream like vanilla creamer to make it more like a rich dessert tea! I also enjoy it in a talk glass full of ice with a quarter to half of Mandarin orange floating in top!
I wasn't quite sure what to expect with this one. The cherry just didn't seem to fit well in the tea making it taste almost medicine-like. I think this tea might be good to mix in to create blends
I can see how this tea would very much be a personal preference thing. In my opinion, it contains a bit too much rose, leading to a taste reminiscent of coughing medicine.
I tried this brew several times, and I was hoping for a sweet cherry to balance the blunt taste of a black tea, but it did not succeed. I was hoping for an herbal flavor with a bit of a kick, but instead got a lot of kick with a hint of herbal flavor. I would make a blend myself from herbal and black tea before trying this again.
Perhaps I am biased, because I like the cherry flavor, but this tea is wonderful. I once tasted a green tea with cherry flavor and liked it a lot. Since then I have been searching for a black one and Adagio allowed me to get my wish. It's great with cherry and chocolate scones on a sunny afternoon. Of course, you have to like flavors!
I find this to be a little cough syrupy and not particularly a true cherry flavor. I don t hate it, but it s also not love.
I've found my opinion of this tea changes depending on what I blend it with. I don't like it with chocolate tea (there's a cloying aftertaste I don't like), but I love it with raspberry black tea.

Didn't smell like cough syrup to me as some other reviews have mentioned- I thought it actually smelled very good- like the dried cherries I buy in bulk. It's tangy but not overly so and blends well with many of Adagio's teas.
i have been looking for a cherry tea for the last 30 years that matched/reminded me of the cherry tea i drank as a kid when i was sick. this tea fits the bill. it has a great, robust cherry flavor, and when i add sugar to it, it definitely reminds me of the cherry tea from my childhood. this is my comfort tea.

The rose flavor overpowers the cherry. Since I'm not a rose lover, it really put me off. It also smells like cough syrup.
This is one of my very favorite iced tea flavors! I mix in a little Summer Rose and some Pu Erh Dante.

Cherries are among my favourite fruit so I thought this would be perfect. Unfortunately the tea comes out tart and overpowering to me; I couldn't get past the cough syrup taste. I guess I'll stick to the real thing for now!

I got the sample size for my father who's been looking for a particular cherry tea for 20 some odd years. It smells like cough syrup but he said the flavor was better than the scent even if it wasn't quite what he was looking for.
What a pleasant surprise this tea is! Fruity without being overbearing. Nice real cherry flavor. I do a larger amount of tea on a shorter brew with this tea to avoid bitterness of black tea.
The cherry tea was a nice surprise. It smells a lot like cherry cough drops, but the flavor after brewing was mildly fruity and tasty. It is nice if you are a fan of fruit teas.

I read the reviews and was a bit skeptical about this tea, but I LOVE it! It has a delicious cherry flavor that is just right for the afternoon, or anytime really - I can not say enough good things about it. This tea is now on my list of permanent teas to always have on hand.
I love this one. Mix it with cherry green tea or your fav black tea. All of the fruity teas have strong flavors, so use them sparingly and I like to mix.
