Unfortunately, this tea did't live up to my expectation. The apricot there is so poor that I didn't even feel or taste it.

I mix the apricot and peach black tea together for iced tea. I first got this in the orchard sample pack and have purchased the full sizes.

Delicious! Really enjoyed the flavor. Refreshing fruit tea

Mom and I loved this one. Very fruity with plenty of caffiene

I love this one all by itself with some local honey. We have a bee keeper right down the street so I'm ready!

It wasnt as good as i wanted. The aroma was great very sweet. Unfortunately it was quite bitter and astringent. Im not sure if Ceylon being the base is the cause of that.

It’s a good tea, if you like a bold apricot. It’s a bit too strong for me, so I’m going to try adding a small amount of apricot to my favorite peach black tea. Perhaps it’ll give the peach a little punch.

Good stuff with moderate .caffeine. I made it by seeping 1.5 teaspoons of tea at 212 degrees for three minutes.

I was expecting more of apricot taste, and it is rather a black tea but a good quality strong black tea.

★★★☆☆

The smell from the package is very much apricot all the way through to the cup. Once you go to take a drink the apricot flavor is quite subtle. The black tea is smooth and as with most flavored teas the flavor seems to wake up with a sweetener. I have not tried this tea creamed but I don’t feel like it needs it

I absolutely love the apricot tea hot or iced! It’s refreshing and has just enough apricot flavor. I highly recommend it!

I got this a while ago and rated it badly, but this time around it's smooth and sweet and peachy goodness. I don't know if they changed it, or it was a bad batch, or I just overbrewed it.

★★★★☆

I'm not a big apricot lover, but the flavor in this tea is quite enjoyable. The apricot flavor is not overpowering and isn't overly fruity. It's great as an iced tea.

★★★★★

The smell is amazing, and I just want to make this my go-to tea whenever I want to relax and unwind after work.

★★★★★

Delicious Tea! I love the hint of apricot. I usually drink tea black or with a touch of raw honey. I highly recommend!

When I opened the package the sweet smell of apricots made me want to brew a cup immediately. The tea had a mild apricot flavor, I would have liked a stronger taste, but it was still a tasty black tea.

I've never had an apricot before so I'm not sure what exactly this should taste like, but it had a very strong scent when I opened the bag and it had a vague vanilla almost vanilla/white hot chocolate taste but then had an aftertaste of apricot. It was sweet on its own. I like to mix it with the Peach black for a very nice iced tea.

★★★★★

Apricot black tea is a wonderful choice for anyone who enjoys a classic black tea with a twist of juicy, aromatic fruit. It’s smooth, uplifting, and a little indulgent—perfect for daily sipping or as a treat when you want something more flavorful than plain tea.

★★★★★

The smell when opening the bag is immediately fresh and fruity and just makes you think of eating a juicy apricot! I'm very happy with how much of that flavor carries over into the cup, too. It's delightful without any need of sugar. The fruit pieces give it just a hint of sweetness. A very pleasant tea and one I will order again.

This tea is just like eating apricots right from the tree. It’s not overly sweet but offers a subtle sweet taste of goodness

★★★★★

Excellent, bold black with a clearly apricot flavor. There are no fake apple or peach flavors instead. I keep reordering this tea as my favorite fruit flavored black.

★★★★★

This is one of my favorite flavored black teas. This is a perfectly balanced black tea with a slight hint of apricot. I drink it hot with milk, and my husband likes it iced.

Got this as a sample portion and really liked it. Apricot is my favorite, and you can really taste it. Recommended.

★★★★★

I love apricots, and this apricot tea is gentle and delicious. I wondered how it was going to be, since it has more apple pieces than apricot- but it all works out quite well. 212F for three minutes. Quite lovely.

★★★★★

This is good, but a tiny bit bitter. It probably won't sway me away from my favorite decaf apricot, which manages to capture all of the apricot flavor without any of the bitterness.

★★★★★

This Apricot tea is quite delicious. The black tea base is surprisingly not bitter and carries the apricot well. I have tasted this both hot and cooled. This is an absolute need for my stash for cold summer sipping. Delicious and silky smooth.

I haven't eaten an apricot in years so I can't really speak to the accuracy of the flavor, all I'm really tasting is the apple pieces in terms of fruitiness. Perhaps I was mistakenly given the 'applecot' blend instead? Hehe. That being said, it's a very tasty little blend. Fruity and rich.

This one surprised me. In most other things like food or juices if something is apricot I always think that peach would be a better option. I am not sure I would say that with this hot black tea. I think I actually prefer the apricot flavor when hot even if iced I would still prefer peach. I could see this one getting bitter if you don't watch the steep times, but decent morning cup. 212° 3 min

CommuniTEA sample: 3 min @ 212 F. While I don't really like Ceylon as far as a black tea base, the apricot helps cover up a lot of the aspects that I find less pleasant about it! It reminds me in many ways of a Fujian black tea, or a few other black tea bases that are a little bit more fruity and juicy. I wouldn't say that it's especially sweet, but you get hints of fruity flavor in there, and there's a nice, subtle dryness that naturally comes with a Ceylon black tea, and I feel like that pairs really well with the memory of dried apricots.

Heaven in a cup. A touch of summer and a touch of spring rolled together. Love this one!!
The apricot comes out so well with the undertones of the Ceylon. My mouth is happy!

I make this by the pot. Like many of my favorite teas, it has a mild flavor that doesn't overpower you. It's great when mixed with earl grey bravo.

You can really smell and taste the apricot. My favorite so far. March 2025 I miss this and can’t wait until it’s available again as it’s one of my favorites.

Perfect summer and spring tea. I love black flavored tea and this is so good. I had a sample of this and bought more

I still haven’t found an apricot tea I enjoy enough to drink again. They all either taste too fake or have no flavor at all. This one fell into the latter category. In the end, it just tasted like a black tea. A fruit note was struck here and there, but not enough for me.

This one was just okay; it’s kind of bitter and could use more fruit flavor. It smell a lot fruitier than it tastes. Maybe it’s better cold. I wouldn’t get this one again.

Nov 24: still great

I really loved this -tangry/fruity and not fake tasting. Like it better than mango and the others I've had. It's on my list to order.

The regular apricot was better than the decaf, but I still have a favorite apricot tea from another brand that this one just doesn't compare to, so it's hard to rate it, knowing that I have another one whose flavor I love more. That being said, this is not bad AT ALL, in fact, it's quite good! I accidentally overstepped milne and it was still very drinkable (steeped at 195) although it did have a bit of astringency/bitterness. It was still good though and I would definitely drink again. I think this would be good in blends as well.

A very nice apricot tea. I don't do a lot of fruit tea but this was nice, not super aggressive or overly bitter. The apricot does overpower the black tea a bit but not enough to turn me off it. I think this would be lovely cold, much like peach. Brewed at 204 for 3 minutes, touch of honey and half & half.

This tea is so delicious! I have it iced with a touch of honey and it hits the spot. The smell is punchier than the taste, but I will never say no to a black tea like this. A CT win for sure!

This was a strong black tea with a light apricot flavor. I enjoyed the bit of fruit taste but it wasn't so strong that it tasted like it needed to be iced.

This black tea is enjoyable and not overpowering with its apricot flavor. I'm sure it's fabulous iced, but I'll have to try it that way another time. I didn't want to put the cup down long enough for it to cool.

Huge apricot appreciater, here. Yep, apricot is my aphrodisiac. The silky sweet fruit goes down smooth and easy. .I love it hot or iced. I wish this one had a bit more depth of flavor, but as is it's still a very good tea.
