Nice fresh aroma when opened. I didn't have any strawberry pieces in mine, but could see the leaves in the tea. Brewed at 212 for 3 minutes. Had a nice refreshing flavor, although I might have preferred it to have been a bit stronger flavor. Being decaf was a nice change though!
I love fruit teas and this one is no exception. Strong strawberry aroma, great strawberry taste. Decaf makes it a great tea to wind down with.
What a nice fruity tea that tastes like real strawberries! I brewed it at 195 degrees for 3 minutes and it worked out well. I’m sure it would make a good tea in the summertime.
This is a great decaf tea that is naturally sweet on its own. The strawberry flavor is not artificial tasting at all.

Just like the original strawberry tea, this one has strong strawberry flavors throughout. While I found the decaf version to be less astringent, it also has a cloying, artificial quality that the other strawberry teas do not. Again, not my pick - I'd definitely shop in the herbals section for a strawberry tea.

Today's CT packet smelled of fresh strawberries upon opening. The strawberry taste was a little more subtle after steeping. There was no bitterness to the slightly fruity taste. I added a small amount of honey but it could do without, too. A nice flavored tea that I would think would also taste lovely as an iced tea.
This strawberry is very tasty, and is good on its own but tastes best with a splash of milk and sugar. I steeped it the same as a steeped the regular strawberry but this one had no bitterness at all, which was a huge improvement for me!
Smooth black tea is the primary flavor in this tea with light, sweet, juicy strawberries. Makes a very refreshing cold brew tea for those hot summer days.
This tea is okay, but unfortunately did not brew up very strong when I cold-brewed it. The strawberry flavor does come through, however.

Delicious iced tea after cold brewing (my first time doing this) for 10 hours. I added nothing and found the tea to be perfect as is!
Update: 4/10/22 I steeped the same but did not find any bitterness this time. Adding monk fruit seemed to smooth it out. Although I wanted to add cream I was worried it would drown out the strawberry flavor. I will put this on my wishlist and see what I can blend with it.
It is nice to have a decaf alternative of strawberry tea. I steeped at a lower temp (195 F) x 3 min, but it still was a bit bitter. I found that it tasted much better after it had cooled.

This was ok. Light strawberry flavor but as the cup went on it got lost somewhat.
This is one of the best decaf flavoured teas offered by Adagio. The strawberry flavouring harmonizes well with the decaf ceylon.

This was not a bad tea, but not a great one for me. The decaffeination process also appears to remove a lot of the bitterness that can sometimes come from black tea, which is a nice plus. The dry tea smelled strongly of strawberries but I had a hard time finding the strawberry flavor in the brewed cup. When I drink flavored tea, I am really looking for a strong, bold, in-your-face kind of flavor. If you prefer a more mild flavor, you will love this one.
This tea is subtle and sweet, creamy-fruity without any astringency. The taste was a bit weak at one tsp per cup, but as a low caffeine indulgence it's a great option. The flavor is natural enough to enjoy with fresh strawberries.
Good decaf for an evening or afternoon sip. There is a nice taste of strawberries in it and a bit of astringency from the raspberry leaves, but not bad. I had this straight, but would probably be great with a splash of cream in it.
If drinking hot, milk and cream is a must. I prefer this cold brewed and for summer on the patio. Taste = strawberry.
CommuniTEA portion: Enjoyable decaf. Cold brewed this one. A nice subtle berry taste but I could have honestly gone for more. It's possible I had too much water to leaves ratio so will definitely give this another go. Adagio does decaf so very well. No bitterness at all!
Updated from 5/23/21 The sweet smell of strawberry emits from the CommuniTea packet and it steeps (at a slightly lower temp to avoid bitterness) into a rich amber red. I am soo surprised - this tastes amazingly sweet and strawberry-ish. The fact that it is decaf is a big plus. I do not even have to add sweetener or cream to enjoy this. Adding those, however, makes this cup even more delightful to drink. Great tea with sweet desserts. (3 mins @ 200ºF).
4/22: Cold brewed for 4 hours. I like this flavored tea much more cool. Sweet strawberry flavor and no bitterness at all. A nice refreshing caffeine free cup.
last year:This strawberry flavored tea is a nice light brew with strong flavoring. The decaf ceylon is much less bitter than then regular ceylon which is a plus. Nice tea for those who want a flavored decaf.
I decided to cold brew this tea. Boy, am I glad I did. The taste of strawberry is wonderful. This is for sure going on my wishlist.
Update 4/10/22 This is now one of my favorite decaf teas. It's really great blended with decaf vanilla . Upgraded from 4 to 5 stars
This smell from the packet was sweet and fruity. I brewed at a lower temp and steeped for 3 mins. This was so good that I gulped it. (I know , I am not supposed to do that )I like having a flavored decaf black tea. I wish that I would have tried cold brewing, it would make a great iced tea for sure.
Full disclosure, although I love fruit, fruit teas are a bit hit or miss for me. I steeped this tea 3 minutes at 200*F to avoid bitterness.
Upon opening the packet a very strong, almost candy-ish strawberry aroma was evident. There were no strawberry pieces in my packet. I used 10 oz of water and 1.5 tsp of rock/tea sugar. The tea continues to smell very strongly of strawberries as it steeps.
While hot, the tea has a very strong strawberry flavor that is quite sweet, almost too much so. I think less sugar might be in order for this blend, even with my sweet tooth. As the tea cools it reminds me of a less sweet strawberry kool-aid and is almost medicinal. I love strawberries and really wanted to love this tea, but it’s a near miss for me. It is a good, strong flavored tea, but a little too artificial for my taste, especially toward the end and when the cup is finished. I’m wondering if the addition of a few small strawberry pieces would have helped. I’m pretty sure it would. If you love strawberries this might be a good tea for you. I like it well enough, but most likely would not purchase this particular blend. 3.75 stars from me.

I like this a lot more than the it's caffeinated counterpart! The decaf ceylon seems to not get as bitter, so the tea itself was smooth and light. The bag smelled super strong of sweet strawberries, like the strawberry hard candies, but the actual flavor was light once brewed.

This was a great fruity treat for the evening. The smell is vibrantly strawberry, and the tea is a nice blend of fruity flavors and black tea flavors.
A staple in my house. I use it with Wild Strawberry and White Strawberry for a blend my partner loves. Try it in a blend with cream and vanilla for a cup that tastes like spring.
I liked this one but I think it worked better mixed with tropics or vanilla than it did on it’s own
