This tea is flavorful and pleasant by itself- my new favorite… but! When blended with chocolate truffle (decaf) and rose hips, it is on another level. Highly recommend experimenting with a blend!
I could definitely smell strawberry from the dry tea leaves. I steeped a pot for 3 min at 175 and poured over ice. First sip was astringent to me and blocked the strawberry. I added cane sugar and diluted with a little more water and the strawberry came forward. I enjoyed this as iced tea once I found the right balance for my tastes.
Do NOT over steep this. It makes an awesome strawberry royal milk tea, but whatever you do, don't over steep it. It will become super bitter if you leave it in too long.
A delightful tea, sweet and fruity without tasting artificial. I love that it’s decaf so I can enjoy it as an after dinner tea. A little calorie free dessert
To me, the strawberry was like the hard strawberry candy and just a cloyingly sweet taste. I was really hoping to like it.
So, so good. I usually don't enjoy fruity teas warm, but this just hits the spot with strawberry goodness both hot and iced. I added a little maple syrup and some milk, and it's like drinking strawberries and cream. It being decaf is a nice bonus!

Decades ago I had a decaf strawberry tea that I really loved. I can't remember if it was part of my very first order from Adagio or from the now defunct Web Teas, but it was great, and I still think of it fondly. This tea brought me right back to those days! It is a preactically perfect blend of strawberry and a classic black tea. This is a great evening treat, and I am very happy to get reacquainted. I'm planning on ordering more after my sample runs out.

If strawberry tea is your jam, I highly recommend getting Decaf Strawberry. The tea bag smells like a strawberry fruit roll up (in THE best way), and the tea is a beautiful combination of strawberry and black tea. I love that it's decaf & I can drink it whatever time of day I'd like.
My son tasted my Strawberry sample from the communiTEA, and LOVED it. I was so happy to find a decaf version for him and his sister. Tastes the same as the caffeinated version, and they are so happy to join in on tea time. We all love this with a splash of cream and some sugar.
Upon opening the pouch the smell of strawberries was strong. Brewed up the flavor was more subdued but was still enjoyable. I think this would be good mixed with the decaf creme or decaf chocolate.
I like all the decaf black teas fully as well as their high caff counterparts. Strawberry is no exception. The use of decaf means I can enjoy some of my favorite black tea blends even in the late hours without jeopardizing my sleep. Strawberry has a wonderful scent too. I do prefer most of the flavored black teas mixed in blends and seldom drink most of them solo.
This is great on its on but I also mixed it with the vanilla tea. Sooo good
This is very good - but I think I like the Wild Strawberry for iced tea a bit more. I had to use more than I thought to get a good flavor, but the flavor is definitely good!
My new go-to black tea for late nights! It's nice to have a bit of decaf before bed without having to worry about getting the jitters. This tea is very sweet and tastes just as one would expect, if you're expecting the taste of fresh, sweet strawberries with the comforting flavor of ceylon tea without the caffeine. I'm happy that it doesn't taste artificial at all, and doesn't really require much sweetener. Definitely another tea to permanently add to my cupboard. ;3
A Nice decaffeinated strawberry tea. It gas great strawberry aroma. A light strawberry taste that is enhanced with a little sweetener. I drank todays tea without sweetener . I used a little honey the last time I had this tea
This was a lovely summer treat. I had it hot and really enjoyed it but I think it would really shine iced, especially since it is decaf so I don't have to worry about drinking it all day.

inspired by some of the comments I am trying cold brewing for the first time. have no idea how the proportions should work but after several hours I have something more like a strawberry infused spa water than a tea (but I was maybe more in the mood for that!) I'll see what it's like after I leave the rest overnight.

A nice sweet flavor that doesn't taste synthetic at all. This is great to have in the evening or the afternoon when you don't want caffeine.
In the bag, this the smell is slightly sweet and fruity just like real strawberries - not the chemicals of a candy strawberry flavor. After steeping, I am always looking forward to drinking it. Without sweetener, it's pretty great, which I can't say for many black teas. True to my habit, I often add sugar or vanilla syrup but just a pinch or a quick splash. The flavor doesn't turn too bitter to me and it's appealing even as it cools down. I bet it would be a great iced tea. This would definitely be one I would order again.

This is a delicious tea. I have even combined it with the decaf cream. Great tea experience. This is always a great start to my day.
I was punched in the nose with strawberry scent when I opened the bag, but the taste was not as strong as the smell. Not a bad thing for me, but may be a disappointment for someone whose hoping the flavor will carrying through almost as strongly as the aroma. It's a nice afternoon or evening sip. I really haven't found another decaf option that still TASTES like tea afterwards and not a watered-down something or other... so as long as Adagio keeps offering decaf options, I'll keep coming back.

Strong smell of strawberries coming from my packet as I open it. Once brewed, you get a full body tea with no astringency. It has strong strawberry flavor with the right amount of sweetness, One of my favorite decaf blends for sure.
I usually avoid berry flavored black teas, but this is an exception. The strawberry flavor is very nice without being overwhelming. :)

The Decaf Strawberry is a nice fruity tea. I enjoy it with cream and a little bit of agave nectar. I like it much better than the wild strawberry herbal, which I find a little bitter. This is a nice smooth back tea with a good amount of fresh strawberry flavor. Very nice.
A lovely decaf that tastes just like natural strawberry, but not so much that you don't get notes of the black tea. Very yummy! The whole household likes it!

I was hesitant about trying decaf strawberry because I had tried non-decaf strawberry and found it to be bland, flavourless, and generally a large disappointment of a tea despite trying to steep it every which way to give it a chance. I figured well, yeah, the decaf version will probably be the same - lifeless and unexceptional, but I still had to give it a try, right? That's what the CommuniTEA is great for - you think you know a tea, and then wham! Here's a great variation to give you a new favourite or, at the very least, sample a tasty surprise.
This decaf version of strawberry is everything the regular isn't - juicy, perfectly sweet, full of strawberry flavour! I loved it. I steeped at 200 for 3.5 minutes, and barely needed to add any dark agave to help encourage that wonderful strawberry flavour. It was delicious, and making it into a latte with oatmilk made it like strawberries and cream. Absolutely recommend this decaf version over the regular strawberry - this one is full of flavour, tasty, and delicious.

This is a relatively nice tea. I noticed the smell of strawberry as soon as I opened the packet. The flavor is simply of a mild black with a mostly natural strawberry flavor. I added a couple of dashes of milk which really brought out the strawberry flavor for a nice strawberries and cream effect.
A perfectly decent fruit forward black tea which could have used a bit more strawberry flavor. I wanted it to pop with the tang and sweetness of strawberries, so I poured it over ice.
It made a really good, thirst quenching decaf iced tea, but not sure I would want to.purchase it.
