Decaf Hazelnut Cinnamon Creme Customer Reviews

I tried this looking for a decaf dessert tea and it's wonderful. I like nutty flavors but not too sweet and the spice combined with the hazelnut here was perfect! I brewed it strong with 2-3 tsp for my 10-oz cup and want to try some blends that contain this and maybe honeybush hazelnut to get a stronger nutty flavor. But, brewed strong with a splash of milk and some cinnamon on top made a great dessert cup to cozy up to the fire with a book! I tried the sample tin and immediately put a 3 oz bag in my cart, I think this will be a staple that I also want to try mixing with other teas.

Really enjoy this one! Sometimes Hazelnut can add a bitter note, but this is just right. Lovely treat before bed.

Very nice, smells amazing! Smooth, smells like creme brulee or a cinnamon bun. It doesn't taste as sweet as it smells so I found myself adding a little extra honey but that's OK, I like my tea a little ssweeter.

Its really good, flavorful, great for afternoon warm treat to not keep one awake

This blend is so comforting and cozy for the bitterly cold winter nights here in NY. The closest thing I can compare the flavor to is a slightly cinnamon-laced hazelnut brittle that is just perfect for a sweet and decadent treat.

I'm still trying to find a good decaf tea for night time. This one was good but a little bland for me

The decaf ceylon was too bitter despite a short steep. Perhaps it was the black & cinnamon combo. But the 'creme' flavor did mellow it, and you can't go wrong with hazelnut.

Lovely brew - smells amazing. I enjoy this at the end of the day when I want something sweet, but don t want to break my fast. I did not find that it needed sweetener at all. As with all adagio teas, I find that you need to be careful not to brew it too long because it can become bitter. That being said, I can get two steeps from the tea with the second being much lighter but still pleasant. @adagioteas

I love this tea particularly as a latte base. The cream and hazelnut are the more pronounced flavors with the cinnamon coming up on the backside of the profile.

This tea smells so yummy and tastes even better. It has quickly become my favorite mid morning brew. It reminds me of a warm oatmeal chocolate chip cookie.

Very good decaffeinated tea, it has great flavors, I like this at night. It's like having dessert.

Tasty decaf dessert tea, takes milk very well. I think the hazelnut is a bit too strong, but it is very drinkable regardless.

The aroma gives this tea all the stars but the flavor is quite bland by comparison. It smells heavenly in the bag and as it steeps. Perhaps doubling the amount will produce a more flavorful tea. Experimentation is required.

I think that this is my new favorite! Smooth, not bitter at all and sweet enough by itself that I don't need any sweeteners!

This is a wonderful cozy tea -- especially if you'd like a lower caffeine content, I highly recommend this~

This is really nice! Very smooth and not bitter at all. The hazelnut flavor is pretty strong, but the cinnamon flavor is not. I like that it tastes creamy without adding milk. It s a really nice decaf option. Don t oversteep! @adagioteas

Great tea to drink after dinner because it is a sweet tea but with no caffiene.

One of my faves! Love having this tea when I get home from work. Smells delicious and helps me put my work day behind me!

I love this flavor. I will be buying more and even bought some too gift to my mother in law.

Does what it says on the tin, flavor-wise. Like many decaf teas I wish the flavor of the tea itself were more interesting, but this is perfectly solid for days I want something sweet, nutty, and warm.

Lovely warming and comforting hazelnut aroma immediately comes out as soon as you open the bag, and it carries through to the cup when you brew it. The smell is great and I love drinking this tea before bed. However I will say that the actual taste of the tea is not nearly as strong as its aroma, and when very hot, its flavor is mild. I think the flavor gets a bit stronger as it cools.

I'm blown away by the flavor of this tea. It's so deliciously comforting in the afternoon. Will be buying again.

So tasty, one of my favorite flavor combinations. Very warm fall/cozy vibes, perfect for a filling night time cup of tea without caffeine. I steep at a lower temperature just to avoid the bitterness black tea leaves can get. Totally recommend if you want a black tea you can drink without getting a caffeine headache.

I really tried to like this tea but the crème flavor was just too synthetic for my taste. Even the smell of the tea was too strong. I’m sad about it as I really like hazelnut. Maybe a version of this without the crème would work for me.

My family loves this for an evening tea to relax and unwind after dinner. We call it dessert. I wish I could buy it in a bigger bag.

This tea is ok, but nothing too special. It disappointed somewhat. I still drank it, but will not reorder.

Absolute favorite! Tastes great without sweetener. But I use a little for a treat.

It’s nice to have decaf tea options other than herbal teas or fruit tisanes. This flavored black tea has become part of my husbands evening tea rotation. It does require almost twice the dry leaf volume to brew a cup with the kind of body we prefer. The Hazelnut flavor is spot on and satisfying.

My husband is cutting back on caffeine and this took the place of his favorite chai. The nuttiness was perfect and the cinnamon did not overpower.

This is a good tea. I'm not a huge fan of cinnamon in tea, but this is a nice combo.

Out of the pouch, this tea smells divine. It's warm and nutty and comforting. It brews to a lovely amber shade, and tastes incredibly like a cinnamon nut milk, or a dairy heavy hazelnut latte. It's surprisingly smooth. If you're looking for a creamy tea for a blend, go with this. However, I knocked off one star because it's almost TOO cream-like. When I'm drinking tea, I want tea lol. I kind of miss the hint of bitterness from the ceylon and wonder if this might be better as a caffeinated blend. It's not something I think I'd look for straight, but would shine as part of a blend.

I really wanted to love this, but sadly it was disappointing. There is hardly any hazelnut flavor and the overall taste is kinda muddy.

I actually discarded the pouch after one cup. One of the ingredients (not sure which) irritated my throat and caused a burning sensation. The tea’s flavor was fine but it made me cough uncontrollably.

Great tea- I loved that it was decaf, and it had a very distinct nutty flavor with the cinnamon to brighten it up.

Good overall, but I fell that the flavors are a bit too muted.

I have had a lot of bad decaf black teas in my time - the kind that seems to have all the flavor stripped from it more than the caffeine was. And though I like much of Adagio's selection, I avoided their decaf offers on principle. Until my partner missed the black tea flavor in the evening, but still wanted to sleep reasonably well. And hey, this is blended with flavors we really like! So we decided to try it.

Well Adagio, you got me again. I guess a good decaf Ceylon DOES exist. We'll be buying this again.
