This was admittedly the first earl grey I've ever tried, and it's probably not helping that it's decaf, but this was disgusting. It was shockingly bitter, and I only steeped for 3 minutes. Even after adding milk and then in desperation, throwing in a spoonful of sugar, I still couldn't manage to finish my cup. I'm scared to try again with this or my other earl grey sample, but maybe I'm just not one for citrusy black tea.

This was certainly underwhelming. I had received a sample of this and I had expected it to taste pretty close to earl grey bravo, which I love and drink regularly, but this just felt like a weak and somewhat run down version. lso, this seemed to have a little less citrus flavor than I am accustomed to tasting in an earl grey tea.
Great Earl Grey flavor, and I can have several cups without ending up twitching from too much caffeine. AWESOME.
Earl Grey is one of my favorites, and this is a fine tea. I am just not a fan of decaf teas, so it was just OK for me.
Huge EG fan, and just had to have decaf. This is the perfect blend of bergamot and Ceylon that allows the flavors to coalesce without being overbearing. Only took 1.5 teaspoons to make a full-bodied 12 oz. cuppa, and I re-steeped, too!
This was a wonderful tea, I really enjoyed it. It was my first earl grey tea, and was excited to see a decaf option, as I usually drink my tea in the evenings. Very good!

Typically I think of basic flavors like earl grey as boring, however I really enjoyed this. You can really taste the bergamot flavor and it was so enjoyable it disappeared quickly.
Decaf Earl Grey for me! The timeframe in which I can consume caffeinated beverages is limited to a few hours in the morning, but I love earl grey and was hoping this would stand up to the decaf test and allow me to enjoy it at any time! It's perfectly blended and I can have it before bed and it doesn't keep me up all night!
AWESOME!! The flavor is a perfect Earl Grey. Its smell is a bit over bearing but seems fitting for cold mornings in slippers.

Smells like freakin' fruit loops! Tastes pretty good, lots of flavor and I think its even better on the second steep but that fruit loops smell is just...very, very odd.
I say great because I can't really tell the difference between the decaf and the regular earl grey! Great when you want the earl grey taste without the caffeine.

This tea is okay at night, but a good chamomile is better. This tea is nothing spectacular - not particularly good for a decaf tea, and not particularly good for an Earl Grey. It's good to have as an option for decaf, but I find myself turning to herbal teas much more often than this one.

Bought (a sample) of this because I needed some tea that wouldn't wind me up at night! I believe I found a perfect kind. Great cup for those late nights when you still want to wind down but you don't want it to interfere with your sleeping.
The flavor is good but I was not happy with the quality of the tealeaves. I am used to getting mostly whole tea leaves from Adagio but this one was very powdery. It could have been just a bad batch so I would still order a refill since I always loved this type of tea and the taste was not dissapointing. Update: the last batches have had better quality tea leaves. Only when I get to the bottom of the bag I get more powdery stuff.
I'm trying to cut caffeine out of my system, so was SO excited to find this tea! I've never had an earl grey tea this exquisite! My 1st order (to try it out) was the 3oz. After that was polished off, my 2nd order included the 16oz. bag.
I love earl grey and was SO excited to see that now I can enjoy the flavor of that great bergamot while also still reaping the benefits of decaf green tea. Great invention! I still drink it the 'English' way - with sugar and lemon. Yum!

A good decaf earl grey. Some people think a decaf tea is missing some flavor. Not this one for sure. And I still can drink it late at night before I go to bed!

I didn't hate this tea, but I didn't love it either. My husband didn't like this one at all. It felt a little spicy, but it wasn't a yummy spicy. Just kind of a strange taste to me, but this was the first time I've tried earl grey. Maybe the decaf had something to do with it.

yummmm. Granted, I do not have the regular version side by side, but I cannot tell at all that this is decaf. Lovely flavor! The fragrance is signiture Earl Grey... With a little sweetener and a teaspoon of cream, this was my very satisfactory dessert last night! Most definately will be a staple in my cupboard.
For those of us who aren't so into caffeine, this is a nice way to get an Earl Grey fix. I think the flavor is a bit too smoky or something, but it is just a bit better than the Earl Grey Green.

I really enjoy this earl grey tea. The bergamot flavor is present, but not overly intense and the orange is a very nice addition.
It is a good tea especially for evening treat, however ii does not have as strong taste of bergamot as earl grey bravo.
More mild than I expected. I end up using a fair amount of tea to brew a cup that is strong enough for me. It's still really nice to be able to drink earl grey right before bed though.
I love my tea at night and was having trouble sleeping so I tried decaf. I must say I was pleasantly surprised that this was as good as Earl Grey Bravo.
