Awesome! I bought a 32oz I love it so much. Lovely afternoon treat! Very malty and comforting.
Blended with cocoa nibs, chicory, chocolate chips, and even a dash of cocoa powder, our Decaf Chocolate Truffle tea is our most lusciously decadent caffeine-free indulgence yet.

Awesome! I bought a 32oz I love it so much. Lovely afternoon treat! Very malty and comforting.
I like that it is a decaf option so I can have it as a dessert tea at night. I guess I am not sure how much I care for ceylon tea. I was hoping for more chocolate flavor. I think I need to try this a few more times and maybe try different amounts of loose leaf and/or different steeping times to see how I prefer it best.
The decaf chocolate truffle really satisfies my sweet tooth when I am wanting something sweet at night but don't want to eat candy or have caffeine
New favorite dessert tea! A little cream, and it is a delicious and delightful chocolate treat. Definitely helps with the sweet cravings, on occasion.
So far this is my favorite decaf blend. It's rich and comforting, with soul nourishing sweetness that can take a bit of maple syrup if you want to guild the lily. Also blends nicely with the decaf chai for a bit of spice.
The Decaf Chocolate Truffle has a nice light chocolate flavor. It is not overwhelmingly chocolatey so if you are looking for hot chocolate taste, be aware that it's light and warm. I paired with a chocolate donut and it was wonderful.
A fantastic decaf option. Smooth, rich chocolate with no bitterness. This is a wonderful dessert drink that can be enjoyed any time of the day! I will keep a stash of this!
This is the perfect afternoon tea. It is lightly chocolate and smooth and the taste is as yummy as the scent.
A nice low-caffeine treat for dessert. I think I like the honeybush chocolate tea even more, though.
Just as good as the regular but safe to drink after 4 pm or people with caffeine sensitivity. Yummy with a little cream splashed in there.
When I'm having a chocolate craving, I go to this tea. Oh yum. Oh yum yum yum. There isn't much else to express how much I love this tea. It's the best for those moments my willpower for sweets can't handle another second.
This had good chocolate flavor, but it was not quite as chocolatey as I wanted. It was better when I added cacao nibs.
You can taste the chocolate immediately. But it is soft and not overwhelming. I would say this is one of my favorites although it is hard not to say that of everyone. The fact it is decaf gives it extra points.
A wonderful very chocolate tea. Great for those times when you want some chocolate but don't want to actually eat a bar of chocolate.
Definitely not for me, I like to have chocolate with my tea but not in my tea. This is just a personal preference/taste thing.
We loved the Chocolate Truffle tea but are trying to limit our caffeine. While this doesn't have quite the same depth as the full caff version, it's still delightful, and we're all enjoying it very much!
Love this tea, and the fact that I can enjoy it at bedtime without worrying about caffeine. It has a wonderfully deep chocolatey taste, and satisfies that nighttime chocolate craving without the calories. Such a winner! A must for any chocolate lover. The tea is balanced and I love the real chocolate chips in the mix.
The perfect evening tea instead of a cup of calorie rich hot cocoa. Nearly the same except not as sweet if you don’t add any sweetener. Reminds me of hot chocolate as prepared for royalty. They didn’t add much sugar. It is much like sipping chocolate.
I am a big fan of the caffeinated chocolate truffle, and while the decaf version is slightly less bold in flavor it is still delicious and serves as a perfect decaf alternative.
Perfect for satisfying a chocolate craving - without the calories or caffeine ! Great balance of flavor!
This tea is very good, but the chocolate flavor could be stronger. The chocolate isn't nearly as pronounced as I was expecting.
Pretty good, not terribly chocolatey but chocolate whipped honey and some extra milk can add some interest. Smells amazing.
Let it be said that the three-star rating is NOT a sign that this tea is bad. It's perfectly drinkable, pleasant, and fine. That said, based on the description and the other reviews, I was expecting _more_. The chocolate flavor is more of a suggestion (and oddly, an almost smoky undertone) and a scent than a strong taste. It's nice with dessert, but it's not quite the cocoa kick I was hoping for.
That said, I've found this to combine really well with other flavors. Mixed with the decaf raspberry at a 1:2 ratio, you get a really nice cup. I haven't yet tried it with the hazelnut cinnamon creme, one of my very favorite flavors, but I suspect it will round out nicely. All in all, a perfectly serviceable tea that I probably would've rated higher if my expectations hadn't been so hopeful to begin with.
I like this decaf chocolate tea. It is a great standalone tea or I sometimes mix it with peppermint to make mint chocolate tea. I add sugar and some cream.
A rich, chocolatey tea that makes a great dessert drink. It's suitable a for late night snack since it's decaf.
This tea tastes pretty good if it is brewed strong and long. It does not compare at all to Adagio's actual Chocolate Truffle tea, so I do not recommend a side to side comparison or you will end up spitting this one out thinking it is spoiled water. However, under the right circumstances, late at night when you want tea but can't handle caffeine, and your last cup of black tea was hours ago so you forget how good it tasted, this might hit the spot. I do like it better than the cream decaf tea, and I'm glad it is an option.
This tea has more of a bitter, dark chocolate flavor than I had expected. A little sweetener really helps to tame the bitterness.
Lacked some of the deep chocolate umph that I love in the caffeinated version. Still very pleasant with cream, and it's nice to have a chocolate black tea that I can drink in the evening.
I got this tea for my mom as she cannot have caffeine. She said that it tests just like the chocolate truffle tea, an amazing choice for those who don’t want or can’t have caffeine but still want a rich tasting black tea.
When I saw there was a decaf version of this tea, I had to get it as I love the caffeinated version. It has a rich, deep dark chocolate flavor that's incredibly smooth. Great to sip on after dinner or on a cold night.
My expectations of heavy chocolate flavor were not met. I liked it, but compared to the smell, the flavor was lighter than hoped. I still enjoyed the cup I drank and the second steep too, but it's a one and done situation, I wouldn't buy this one again.
I wanted to love this, but for some reason it just has too much of an almost mushroom-like flavor for me. I'll finish the sample pack I got, but probably won't buy more. (spoon of sugar, splash of half&half)
I'm so happy this decadent treat is decaffeinated! I will definitely order again. It's the perfect dessert tea.
The earthy tone with deep chocolate and a slight bit of honey and creamer added, this is perfect for a nice warm tea for work.
I loved Chocolate Truffle tea and decided to try this for after dinner. A great addition to my decaf collection of teas!
This tea is so delicious! It's a good rich, dark chocolate dessert tea with that I can enjoy anytime. It's great with a bit of Adagio cinnamon honey added.
I love the decaf teas at night. If you are a fan of hot chocolate but don't want all of the sugar, this is a good substitute
I was surprised at how much I love this tea. It has a mysterious deep chocolate taste but without being syrupy sweet (no sugar in it). Because it has no caffeine it is perfect for a winter night with a good book in front of a fireplace.
I had the caffeinated version of this tea through the CommuniTea. In my review of that tea I wished for a decaffeinated version. I had a tea friend comment on my profile letting me know that this amazing tea existed. It is so yummy as a dessert.
not my favorite, pretty bitter, glad I got the sample and not more because I will not get this one again
This tea is so delicious! All the lovely rich chocolate-y flavor of the regular chocolate truffle tea, without any of the caffeine. I love drinking this tea in the evening as a dessert blend.
The first time I tried chocolate truffle, I mourned the fact that I couldn't drink it before bedtime... I was so excited to see the decaf version! This tea tastes just like the original chocolate truffle, with deep dark chocolate notes and hints of chicory. Wonderful with a splash of creamer for an indulgent sip!
I just adore this decaf special chocolate black tea that is perfect to drink anytime day or night. The chocolate truffle is very smooth, and rich, and with milk and sweetener makes the perfect decaf dessert tea. Who knew a decaf chocolate truffle tea could be better than regular caffeine chocolate truffle tea?
Extremely chocolate-y and without all the guilt of a bar of chocolate. I won't pretend to understand 'motes of this' or 'essence of that' but this is a good, straightforward cup of tea that scratches that 'hot chocolate' urge. Mostly, at least!
After receiving a sample of the regular caffeinated version, I was so delighted to see this tea available in decaf. I can’t usually handle the high caffeine level of black teas, but I love a good dessert tea. This decaf version makes me so happy!
I just love Adagio’s decaf teas. They’re not bitter at all. This chocolate truffle has a great cocoa taste to it and it’s great when I want to curb my chocolate cravings.
Yes! A decaf chocolate tea option. This is everything that I wanted it to be. I will definitely be purchasing more of this.
I like this one! The chocolate taste is well balanced.
YES, YES, YES! Decaf Chocolate Truffle is a yummy dessert tea. I love it with the adagio chocolate honey and a little milk.
I found this tea to be more bitter than chocolatey probably from the cocoa nibs and chicory. Tasted okay with milk.
