Did not enjoy this one. Was very excited about a chocolate truffle tea, but the cocoa was too bitter. Even adding sweet cream creamer did not help.
Blended with cocoa nibs, chicory, chocolate chips, and even a dash of cocoa powder, our Decaf Chocolate Truffle tea is our most lusciously decadent caffeine-free indulgence yet.

Did not enjoy this one. Was very excited about a chocolate truffle tea, but the cocoa was too bitter. Even adding sweet cream creamer did not help.
This is one of my favorite nighttime treats! It's just the right amount of sweetness and satisfies my chocolate cravings.
such a fun morning treat! I got this flavor in the advent calendar and haven't been able to stop drinking it since.
This is a mainstay in my tea cabinet. It feels like the hot-drink equivalent of eating good chocolate frosting. It's my favorite sweet treat in the evenings!
Nice chocolatey aroma. I love having a decaf option of this tea, it is so nice being able to have a nice dessert tea before bed.
The tea had a pleasant, mellow chocolate flavor. I do wish the chocolate flavor was stronger (it would have been five stars if it was). Overall a good late night snack tea.
Not bad, but not as good as the regular one. I mix the decaf cream with it and it makes it much better.
I'm not really sure how to rate this tea. My notes on the blend are all over the place. Sometimes I love it; sometimes it's only mediocre. For the most part, I do like it. (Though this last batch has me baffled. Something feels different, and I'm not sure what. But it's been a long time since I've had it, so it's probably just me.)
I do really appreciate having a decaf chocolate option, and I'm sure it will always have a spot in my tea cabinet. I like it best with a touch of cream and sugar, but you have to brew it hot and strong, otherwise the flavor disappears.
Yummmm, what else can I say except how delicious this tea is? Its like a dessert in a mug. I tried it with cream and a pinch of brown sugar. You won't miss your chocolate bar. The aroma of chocolate emitting from this cup is hypnotizing. I love this Decaf Chocolate truffle.
A great option for when you want hot chocolate, but in tea form! It's nice and chocolaty and you can make a cup that's much less sweet than hot chocolate would be.
This is one of the few flavored teas that I would re-buy. The chocolate flavoring is not artificial, it tastes rich and lightly sweet. Bitterness is minimal. So nice to have this as a decaf offering, so as to get that chocolate fix at night.
Very nice, but to get the best out of it you need to doctor it a bit: freshly filtered water, low and slow steeping, a pinch more sugar than normal are my recommendations
This is a great substitute for hot cocoa if you need to break a nighttime sugar habit! It is delicious.
Adagio’s Decaf Chocolate Truffle black tea is a standout treat, even for those who don’t usually get excited about chocolate in tea. The rich, creamy chocolate flavor is perfectly balanced—never cloying or bitter—creating a smooth and indulgent cup. Adagio’s decaf black tea base is exceptionally smooth, making this a delightful choice for a guilt-free dessert tea any time of day.
Finding a decaf black tea is hard to find and chocolate flavoring is a big plus. If you enjoy chocolate you will like this tea
Very nice lovely flavor without being overpowering.
Love to have finally found a decaf black tea that tastes like regular black tea. The chocolate is such a nice touch
Had a sample of the regular choc truffle- LOVED it. Got this decaf version for the kids- it’s a win!
Not a fan. No chocolate flavor in my opinion. Have tried steeping longer as well as adding additional tea, but still no flavor.
This is really good! Some of the chocolate-heavy tea flavors end up too dark and bitter for me, but this is very smooth without having to bury it in other flavors. A great choice for enjoying just chocolate by itself.
This is a delectable blend with just the right amount of chocolatey goodness. I add cream and sugar for the perfect cup.
This tea has a nice chocolate flavor, but it did need sweetener to make it good. I added honey and almond milk and it was quite tasty.
It smelled heavenly when I opened the package. But the heart-thumping anticipation lessened as I drank from the cup. I had added a bit of honey and a splash of almond milk, like fellow tea drinkers suggested. It was good. But not great.
Not my cup of tea, but then again I'm not a big fan of chocolate based black teas to begin with. However, I suppose I would like it better if paired with a chocolate-y dessert.
It pays to read the other reviews. I was not a fan until I followed the advice of a little cream and a smidge of sugar. I am now a big fan!!
I really like hot chocolate. Mexican hot chocolate. Hot chocolate with Kahlua: yes please! Chocolate tea, however, just seems weak in comparison. There is nothing wrong with this tea. I am just not going to be a big chocolate tea fan.
I've been burned by ceylon teas before so i may have understeeped this one but honestly it was lovely regardless. Pretty one note but it does that note well, a solid, mild cocoa flavor.
Rich, velvety chocolate dessert tea. I added a little milk which further elevated the cup.
A lovely chocolate aroma and taste. This was sweet enough to enjoy on it's own, but I added a bit of sweet cream to turn it into a luscious
afternoon treat.
CommuniTEA sample: 3 min @ 212 F. Two infusions, both very smooth, very chocolaty. There's a little bit of bitterness to it and it leans more in the cocoa direction of flavor than chocolate, having some more bitter, roasted notes. But it smells like chocolate, it's creamy, and it has a mild touch of sweetness! I found the first cup had a little bit more of the black tea flavor coming through, while the second cup was much more mild. I also couldn't taste the chicory in the second cup, but it was strong in the first.
I'm usually not one for the dessert-flavored teas, but this one smells fantastic right out the bag. The flavor wasn't as overwhelming as I expected it to be. This is worth trying if not for the flavor, but for the way it pleasantly smells in the areas surrounding it.
A lovely blend. The perfect way to wind down on a cold day.
A nice strong, chocolaty tea that goes great with Scottish toasting bread and jam. Quite sweet.
A yummy chocolate flavor and I am so appreciative that this is decaf!
Tastes of dark chocolate candy. I like it with some milk, to bring out more of that flavor.
Sweet and delicious. Good chocolate flavor - it helps with cravings, especially when you’re on a diet!
I like my tea to steep a bit longer. This is delicious but I do enjoy chocolate quite a bit. I added some coffee creamer and it takes like I’m indulging in a chocolate dessert!
Very nice and flavorful delicate flavors that makes you feel warm
A very nice blend for chocolate lovers! It's got a well-blended chocolate flavor, and I love that it's decaf.
Decaf Chocolate Truffle is a delicious dessert tea that rehydrates and is perfect for late afternoon and evening.
Yum; if you like chocolate, then this is the tea for you! I was skeptical that it might be watery, but I was wrong - with a little sweetener and creamer, this stands up to a hot chocolate and is much less caloric. Just be careful not to over-steep it too much - there are astringent notes that become more pronounced (probably from the cocoa nibs) the longer it steeps, so for the best flavor experience I would say pull your tea ball/bag out by the 4 minute mark or before.
If you like chocolate and tea, this is for you! Decadence in a mug. Plus it won’t keep you up all night since it’s decaf!
As good as the regular chocolate truffle. I mix it with that and other teas when I want less caffeine. YUM!
I love the vanilla, hazelnut, etc black teas on here, but this one was a little weird for me. The chocolate-y flavor doesn't quite work.
I enjoy this black, chocolaty tea after a meal. It's good with a little honey. It takes the place of dessert.
This tea smells amazing. Tastes strone. A little cream and sugar makes it great
I'm always looking for more decaf options, and this is one my husband enjoys too! great with milk and a little sweetener.
One of my go to tea, the smell of chocolate and taste is just so warming specially during winter.
I've enjoyed Chocolate Truffle in the past and I wanted to try this decaf option. I was very pleased with the flavor and quality, just as I was with the original version. I have it with a little milk and it makes a perfect cup.
Basically hot chocolate when you add milk, not as bitter as non decaf version
