I hesitated to try this one, because I grew up on a bagged version of it by a well known company, and I can't stand theirs anymore! But this one is wonderful. Every now and then I just want plain, decaf black tea, and this is exactly that. I also like to mix it 1:1 or 1:2 with flavored decafs (ex: Spice, or Vanilla) to mellow them out a little for a warm, comforting bed time cup. It's great with or without milk with a touch of honey (though, sometimes I like it with a little too much honey and a splash of milk)
not a big decaf tea person, purchased for my husband - but enjoyed with breakfast but didn't steep too long.
update: My husband requested a refill on this loose tea!

My fiance can't have a lot of caffeine and this lovely black fits the bill. Smooth and dark, but with all of Adagio's black teas I recommend slightly under 3 minutes or a bitterness comes out.

This is a neutral-yet-full-bodied tea. The decaf doesn't take anything away from it! One of my favorites, and I love that I can drink it at any time of day or night.
I love this tea. The problem I often have with decaf teas is that they tend to be very thin in taste, no matter how long you steep them. This one is full-bodied, and with a warm, smooth flavor that I really like and that stands up well to almond milk.
Good! Tastes just like regular ceylon. Sometimes the de-caffeinating process removes some of the flavor, but not here.
An excellent tea. every bit as good as a fully caffeinated one! Just a bit astringent, well balanced, medium body. Loved it!

Wonderful tea, basic but definitely not boring. I usually drink it with a splash of milk. For a decaf tea it does not have that strong astringent taste but it does taste softer than Adagio's regular black Ceylon tea
WOW! I really love this as a mellow after dinner tea. I am always on the look out for good teas that are decaf and this fits the bill...smooth taste, fragrant, inviting aroma and irresistable taste.
Not bad, but not amazing either. A fairly average black tea on the more bitter end, so it requires some sweetener. Pretty simple flavor profile, none of the complexity and depth of the more fancy-shmancy black teas, but some people may prefer this.
This is really darn tasty!! Mellow and perfect for nighttime tea-drinking when I don't want to be up too much longer.
This is a good sturdy black tea for when I'm trying to cut down on my caffeine. Although I'm a bigger fan of the Assam Melody, I'll often make ice tea using a mix of the two and it makes for a satisfying blend.
I really adore the Ceylon Sonata tea, but I'm under orders to quit caffeine. The decaf ceylon is tasty enough, but doesn't have the full flavor of Sonata (I feel the same way about Ceylon Waltz - granted, neither Sonata nor Waltz have strong flavor profiles compared to a breakfast tea or darjeeling). It makes for a good, neutral cup of tea when I don't want something complicated, and it's decaf, which is the important part. (or maybe I'm just craving Southern-style sweet tea lately when I reach for this ceylon, and it's just not the same!)

This is the best decaf black tea I have tried. Most other decaf teas I have tried lacked the full tea flavor and left me disappointed. Decaf ceylon brought the happiness back to my decaf lifestyle. It tastes great whether I drink it with a touch of stevia, a touch of creamer or a bit of orange.
No surprises here, just a nice cup of black tea without the caffeine. I love to mix this with spearmint to drink in the evenings.

For decaf this isn't bad, but it still has some harshness which makes it somewhat unpleasant (part of the decaf process).

A good decaf but not as flavorful as the Ceylon Sonata. Taste is a little washed out but it's great for when you don't want all the caffeine.
Just like the normal ceylon, but decaf! Comes in handy for sensitive tums. This tea is very good with a spot of half and half and a little hazelnut syrup. I like to brew it strong!
Good black tea, great for the evenings when you want to keep it simple and not stay up half the night. Can be a bit strong flavored if over brewed.
We have taken to having tea and cookies with our son and grandson a couple times a week. Decaf ceylon is my go-to tea for these afternoon get togethers. Same wonderful taste as my morning cup but decaf!
This is my go to decaf tea. I use it straight in the afternoons, use it mixed half with my favorite black tea for a cup of half caff, or use it even mixed with herbals like peppermint. Awesome black decaf alone or blended. It's a must buy for anyone who loves their tea!
When I want a cuppa in the evening, this is great blend base, helping reduce the overall caffeine and still have a solid tea taste.

I usually avoid decaffeinated tea but this one is really, really good! I love that I can have (almost) the flavor of my morning tea but before bed. Best of both worlds!

This is a much better decaf black tea than you can buy in most stores. It is more flavorful and slightly more robust. However, it does still have that flatter decaf taste to a degree.
