This is a flavorful chai, especially good when steeped in milk. I’m not usually drawn to white teas but bought this on a whim, just wanting to try a white chai. Sometimes it’s got a good kick to it, depending how many of the spicier ingredients gather on my scoop. Low caffeine is nice when you want less of that in your day. ~ ~ Steeped in water is good as-is, no additions needed, and the flavors come out more as it cools. It’s also good sweetened, with or without a splash of dairy. Steeping it in milk at 180 for 10 minutes results in a nice, cozy sip. If you are one who doesn’t like spicy, milk also tones that down.
This also blends particularly well using 1 part rooibos caramel to 2 parts white ayurvedic chai, steeped at 212 for 5 minutes.

I never would have thought of putting lemongrass, coconut and pineapple in a chai -- but this tea is amazing! The spices have less of a bite than in other chais that I enjoy...but the flavors and aromas all blend nicely together. I'm not normally really a fan of white tea...the taste is often just too light for me. I wasn't sure what to expect from a white tea chai, but this is amazing! Smooth, aromatic, spicy...with tropical fruit and coconut flavors mingling with the classic spices. I love it! mmmmm!

White chai...what a pleasant surprise. It has the subtle ness of white tea with a kick of chai spices. What an interesting combo!

This tea is an adventure all by itself. Deserves a few minutes of quiet contemplation just to know it and enjoy. Delicious with honey and a splash of half n half.

Okay so...a few days ago, Adagio threw us a curveball with rooibos jasmine (which made my head almost explode in confusion) and now they've given us white chai tea. White chai tea...just the words 'white tea' and 'chai' together seem wrong to me. But let's give it a go!
In the packet, white Indian-word-I-know-I'll-mispell chai smells of cinnamon and ginger. I found quite a liberal dose of lemongrass in the packet, but I didn't smell any lemon. Interesting!
One thing that threw me off was the brewing instructions: white tea brewed at 212 degrees for 5 minutes?! Mkay, if you say so. As this tea was brewing, I began to pick up hints of lemongrass along with the cinnamon and the ginger. The tea emitted a gingerbread aroma that absolutely made my mouth water!
I have never had chai tea without milk, but there was no way I was putting milk in white tea. Such tomfoolery doesn't take place in my house, sir. So, for the first time ever, I drank a chai without milk. While it was hot and before sugar was added, the only flavors I was able to detect were spice and they were mild. None of the white tea base came through. Once it was cooled and I added a bit of sweetness to the mix, the flavors really started to pop! I could taste the coconut, cinnamon, ginger, and lemongrass and it all came together quite harmoniously. The flavor was similar to a lemony gingerbread and I literally couldn't slow myself down...the whole cup was drained in less than 2 minutes. And I didn't even miss the milk.
Yes, this may seem like a totally bizarre tea blend but give it a try. It will keep your tastebuds awake and happy!

What a great chai. Smooth and sweet, this tea has complex flavors and subtle spices that complement the large-leafed tea itself and the tropical fruits. Leaves a warming sensation long after the sip. This is a tea that's perfect without additives and not overwhelmingly spicy. Compared to the Thai Chai, the coconut in this tea is more nuanced and the spices have less of a bite, leaving a sweet-finishing cinnamon more prominent in the ayurvedic chai. This tea does rebrew acceptably, but looses most of it's wow factor after the first brew.

Generally I am not a fan of chai but this proved me wrong. I didn’t see much peppercorn but got a huge chunk of coconut. I brewed at a lesser temp because it was a white tea to not burn the delicate leaves for five minutes. This yielded a delicious cozy cup of which reminded me of red hots. They used to see this at Teavana and mixed it with Samarai Mate (and rock sugar) and it was a constant sample and best seller for as long as they were in business.

The white tea was a surprise, and together with the chai spices it makes for a more light flavored chai. I still added sweetener and creamer, like I would for a normal black chai. I prefer the fuller bodied dark teas, but this was still tasty.

Coconut and most chai are pretty much the enemy for me, but my husband loved it, so this is another case of splitting the difference.

A beautiful chai tea with unexpected flavor and a refreshing boldness. Milder than the Masala Chai.

This has always been a favorite of mine just as it is. Others suggested blending it with Samauri Mate. I have not tried this myself but it sounds good. I love the notes of lemongrass and cinnamon undertones to this tea.

This is fine, but I don't feel like it has a lot of flavor. Kind of a weak cinnamon tea.

I enjoyed this chai. I’m not a big clove fan and for once, this is a chai blend that doesn’t focus on clove.

I was intrigued by this tea as I normally like chai tea but had never had it in white tea. The flavor is the normal full blast of a chai tea but with the subtle undertones of white tea. Highly recommend for a fresh take on classic chai.

Not a fan of this though it is beautifully presented and flavored. Just not my style; too spicy for my taste. Maybe some steam almond milk would help temper the flavor. Also I was guessing on the water temperature; perhaps it was too hot.

Wonderfully relaxing chai tea blended With White Tea, Ginger, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Lemon Grass, Coconut, Cloves, Black Peppercorn, and Pineapple Pieces. Cinnamon is the primary bold accent complimented by the ginger and cardamom and other fruits and spices. Just a warming tea that makes the going better.

A nice low caf twist on traditional Chai. I always want to like chai tea but I grow tired of it fast, that's not as true with this one. I really like the slightly different spices here and the clean flavor.

Yummy! Another tea that tastes great by itself or with just a little sweetener. I really enjoy the light, spiced flavor, even though I normally prefer black teas.

This tea is a bit weak for my personal taste. I wish the fruits and herbs in this tea were more plentiful so it would have a stronger flavor. Not a bad tea but it could use a revamp.

Excellent both on its own and mixed with the the Samurai Mate, which people use as a replacement for the former Teavana mix. I d say this actually improves on it. I m a little surprised at the steep temperature for a white tea - but flavor seemed fine.
