Now I'm a lover of rich teas, which Thai Chai certainly is but it's not the kind of rich I was hoping for. Thai Chai is too reminiscent of savory Thai curries to be a five star tea for me. Even with brown sugar. I'm not a sweet tea fiend, but I don't want to be savory. It's really the lemongrass that throws this blend off. My favorite coconut chai is from Zhena's gypsy tea, and I guess I was looking for a cheaper loose version. No such luck.

This tea was a pleasant surprise - it is very flavorfull but not overpowering. Fits perfectly with milk. I like to drink it in the afternoon or evening.

Pretty spicy! Or maybe just because I steeped it and forgot about it for a few minutes. Still, great with milk and sugar.

This tea is quite delicious! This reminds me of autumn time so much. It smells amazing too. This was my first attempt at making this tea and I have to say, to make the tea nice and strong flavored requires a bit more than the directions call for. It doesn't take a lot of sweetener for this tea as the flavors really come out easily. I would be very light on cream or milk though. Easy to water down, so far. This will be great on cold days and with cream or milk it's almost dessert like.

Spicy and delicious! I like to add a bit of agave syrup to make it more of a treat.

Generally I'm not a fan of chai, but when I saw something called 'Thai Chai' I HAD to atleast get a sample size since I visited Thailand last summer! It was good! Not as good as some of the other teas I've gotten on adagio, but definetly the best chai I've ever had. One thing though, I think my sample was a little light. It weighed the same as the other samples I got, but those teas only require one teaspoon of tea while this one requires two. And since the sample is advertised as 10 cups and not by oz, I think I got half as much as I was supposed to, which is a little disapointing.

Great for relaxing evening tea. Love the spice blend

Not bad at all! The sample had a good and interesting scent, but a little funny... not especially delicious-smelling. The flavor is a nice mix of the lemongrass and coconut with a hint of spice, though very mild. I added a bit of liquid stevia and unsweetened soy milk to jazz it up a bit. I'd recommend it if you're a fan of coconut, but if you're more into black teas, try the masala chai instead.

This tea is absolutely delicious. As a fan of both thai tea and chai, the blend is one of my favorite teas. A very sweet, savory flavor with the unique aftertaste of thai tea. Wonderful for cold winter evenings. Good with cream and sugar.

★★★★☆

Mellower than traditional chai blends. Good option for those who find chai to be too spicy or who dislike cloves.

very chocolatey. I enjoyed it a lot. richer than I'm used to but I didn't mind

★★★★☆

Excellent flavor blend and a pleasant surprise, I will definitely re-order this one.

This tea is both thai and chai.
Smelling it fresh from the package, it is swoon-worthy. The typical chai scents mingle just right with the coconut and lemongrass.
Brewing, the chai scent becomes more dominant.
In flavor, the cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger are most prominent. As the tea cools, the lemongrass and coconut flavors recede even more.
Overall, good tea. Definitely a nice spicey chai, but best when consumed piping hot to get the full flavor and aroma of the lemongrass and coconut as well.

I'm thinking a chai is a chai is a chai, at least to my admittedly not very sophisticated palette. Pleasant, but in a blind taste test, I wouldn't be able to distinguish it.

I have to be in a certain mood to drink this, personally, but I do enjoy it. I haven't tried it iced yet, but I think it would be delicious, especially with a bit of sugar and coconut milk.

★★★★★

A very fragrant tea. Coconut milk adds a wonderful touch that rounds out the spices. The lemon grass was delicate, yet fragrant and smooth.

★★★★★

Best chai I have ever had (aside from when I make it myself). Boyfriend loved it too!

★★★★☆

I really like the coconut flavor but I think it is a little over powered by the lemongrass

★☆☆☆☆

Try a sampler first--this one's really different. I thought since I love Masala Chai I would love this one, too--and I don't. It tastes really herbal

The lemongrass kind of overtakes everything else, but the coconut and spice are amazing and undefinable.

★★★★★

I have to get more of this. Something about the traditional chai spices plus lemongrass and coconut is delicious. Especially served cold. I might not go back to regular chai after this...

A really tasty tea, and a nice change of pace from other chais.

★★★★☆

This is a nice, light chai. There's a hint of coconut in the aroma, and a very smooth, low-key spiciness. It won't fight with the flavors of food.

★★★★★

Definitely my favourite of the chai teas Adagio has to offer.

This was actually better than I expected it to be. If you like chai teas, you'll like this. Good iced, too

★★★☆☆

I was expecting this so be a bit different from most chais that I've tried, but it really just tasted of the spices. A bit disappointing, but not a bad tea.

Absolutely delicious. Will definitely order again.

★★★★★

Absolutely wonderful hot, and perfect chilled with milk and sugar. Be aware, however, that it will not be the drink you'd order at a Thai restaurant (for a number of reasons), but it is no less delicious.

★★★★☆

I don't know how I feel about this. Some days its' the perfect cup of tea, and some days I think it's horrid. I think it's the lemongrass. Anyway, at the the right time of day it's marvelous, and it's great iced with sweetener and a squeeze of lime.

★★★★★

I love this tea! It has a warm spicy flavor that is perfect any time of the day.

I really like this tea. I want to love it, but I just really like it.

The scent of the tea is wonderful. If love Thai food, you could smell this tea all day. It has an energizing smell, and memorable.

The tea with milk and sugar is delicious. It really hits the spot. Without milk, I feel like the lemongrass is a bit too strong, but the milk helps to equal it out, and you can taste the other flavors.

I like my tea to pack flavor, and this tea hits the spot, but I'm still on the search for my perfect tea, and as close as this tea is, I can only see it as one of my mistresses.

The smell and flavor of this tea is lovely. All the flavors are really balanced. This is definitely a new favorite!

★★★★☆

A long steep time brings out the sweet coconut flavor that mixes incredibly well with the lemongrass. Very smooth and wonderful, especially at night.

★★★★★

I have to admit that I didn't find the smell of this tea when brewed at all appealing. In fact, it took a bit of convincing for me to drink it. But it has this lovely complexity of flavor that I found really appealing.

As an update, I really loved this tea with a touch of almond milk and brown sugar.

This chai is fantastic! The coconut aroma of the dry tea is overwhelming, but once it's brewed and mixed with a dash of almond milk (or any milk), it tastes rich, distinctive, and delicious.

I prefer classic chai so I was skeptical, but this chai is amazing. The lemongrass is not overpowering (despite the smell), and the black tea is actually not overly-strong either, providing a nice balance. It's difficult to overbrew this tea, which is a good thing. Is good on its own or with added milk/sugar.

★★★★★

Thai chai is amazing! I love the creamy coconut and cardamom in this tea. So fragrant and flavorful. I thought the masala chai was my favorite, but now it seems dull and one-note compared to this!

★★★★☆

Not quite as stimulating as other chai varieties I have sampled, but still a delightful start to the day.

★★★★☆

Yummy! Tastes great by itself. I've give this tea to many people who've never had chai, and they love it as well.

★★★★★

Absolutely love this tea. I didn't really taste the coconut at all, which I had been looking forward to, but I found myself not minding at all

★★★★★

delicious tea! the coconut was the first thing I smelled upon opening the bag, followed immediately by the fragrant lemon grass. It's scent was very reminiscent of Thai curry dishes I've had. The flavor was lovely and not as strong as other chai's I've had, very light and aromatic.

★★★★★

This is SO GOOD. I instantly regretted only getting a sample--the flavors are perfect. Creamy coconut, spicy ginger, bright lemongrass with a mellow chai background. This is great hot, iced, or as a latte: I don't think there's a wrong way to drink this.

This is a good tea, its just not right for me to drink all the time.

★★★★★

Love this chai! Great coconut and other tasty thai flavours.

★★★★☆

A smooth and creamy version, good for when traditional chai is just too spicy. I prefer it with agave and milk to draw out the coconut smoothness even more!

I throughly enjoy this tea. My only complaint is the coconut flavor is a little overpowering. It is also not as chai tea as I was hoping.

This is my favorite chai tea that I've tried on this site. The coconut flavor is the strongest that you taste, and the chai background is a great complement. I like how complex the flavors are and that every sip is slightly different than the one before. The tea tastes really natural to me.

★★★★★

I'm a huge fan of Thai food and cook it at home quite often, this tea hits the mark with the coconut and lemongrass found in most dishes. Awesome tea!
