A more subtle alternative to the typical chai tea. Loved the coconut and lemongrass notes. Those stood out the most.

★★★★★

I have been an avid coffee drinker most of my life. I liked tea decently well, Iced at least. I was introduced to Chai and have been hooked ever since. I have tried just about every variation, including Teavana's, and honestly, I wasn't too impressed. I heard about Adagio through some research, and quite honestly, I couldn't believe how well priced everything was, and figured, hey, It's worth a shot. I was
blown away. This stuff is AMAZING! If you are a chai lover, you won't believe how great this stuff tastes~! I was taken by surprise to learn that Chai and Lemongrass are like ying and yang. I would recommend this to everyone, and most importantly, I will be purchasing this regularly for myself and the hubby.

★☆☆☆☆

This tea just wasn't for me. The smell and taste was just tangy/sour - but in a bad way. Maybe the lemon root/ginger? It was just very unpleasant. It didn't taste like chai or coconut to me - which is why I ordered it. I let multiple people try it and so far nobody has enjoyed it enough to use the sample I ordered. It might end up being tossed out - such a waste.

The lemongrass is strong. The coconut is great.A delightful spicey dark tea that is wonderful.

This is my favorite chai. I love to drink it on its own or cut with a tropical tea like passion fruit or mango.

★★★☆☆

It's a good Chai tea, but to me it does not taste anywhere close to a Thai tea. I do intend to order it again when it't time to restock, but my hunt for a Thai tea that isn't a powder mix continues...

★★★★★

Absolutely delicious with milk and sweetener, it also makes great Thai Iced Tea.

★★★☆☆

My sister loved this, but I'm on the fence. I'll give it another try because I'm intrigued, but I didn't love it immediately. More subtle than I expected.

★★★★☆

I love this, just enough of the chai spice to make my palate happy, and warm me up from the inside out. I greatly recommend this to others who love coconut as much as I do. Its got a wonderful flavor and works awesome when blended with Almond milk.

★★★★★

Loved this tea. I really enjoyed the coconut. I think this would be nice as a milk tea or bubble tea as well.

★★★★☆

Not as good as the Spiced Apple Chai in my opinion but it is chai and it is lovely. If you like chai, any Adagio chai will suit your needs.

★★★★☆

I don't really care for coconut, so that's why this tea wasn't great for me. But I really did like the lemongrass/chai combo and it reminded me of the maharaja/samurai that teavana sells.

It's a bit different in a very good way. It's a very warm flavor with hints of coconut.

★★★★★

Amazing. This was complex, with coconut and lemongrass swirling around and grabbing your attention, and it was spicy and just brilliant. I'll absolutely buy a big bag.

★★★★☆

This is REALLY good, but I do feel like I have to steep it for a very long time for it to be as flavorful as I would like, probably at least 7-8 minutes. It's definitely much lighter than most chais that I've had, but again. Still really good.

This was a random choice and I did not know it had coconut in it until I took a sip. It surprisingly mixed well with it and is great with milk, like most Chai.

★★★★★

I have been wanting to try this for a while, and finally I did. I was surprised with how good it tasted!! I am so happy I finally got some, and I will be ordering a bigger pouch next time!

★★★★★

This tea is really great, I can't get enough of it.

I love this tea with a little bit of cream and honey or sugar.

★★★★★

One of my favorite adagio chais! Far more mellow than most chais, it's good for when you want a little spice but don't want something extremely overpowering. Great for blending with other teas as well!

★★★★★

This is another one I wish I had ordered a giant bag instead of just a sample! The blend of flavors is phenomenal. It is also excellent iced with a splash of milk!!

★★★☆☆

It's got an overwhelming, slightly bitter note that may be from the lemongrass, although it's not a flavor I recognize from fresh lemongrass. A little bit too much spice, and I tend to mix this one with a bit of Lapsang Souchong or another black tea just to calm that spice note down a bit. Great complement to Thai curry, though, possibly because the coconut milk helps counteract the spice.

Wow. This is so far the best chai I have ever tasted. The flavor is very unique. The coconut doesn't overpower but you can definitely taste hints of it, this is a fairly spicy chai (on a relative scale I'd say it's maybe 3.5 out of 5 perhaps imo), exactly what I love. If you want a mild chai, I would recommend something else perhaps since for me the coconut interacted interestingly to make the normally average spice level stand out more. I'm ordering more, myself and all of my chai-seasoned and loving coworkers agree that this is one of our favorite chais we've tasted yet! Oh yes, one mor ething.. when it says creamy, that isn't just a marketing word. This tea actually steeps somewhat creamy. I regularly make it without milk or cream of any kind and still find it to be thoroughly decadent.

★★★★★

Loved the fresh taste! I'm a big fan of chai and the smell and taste didn't disappoint.

★★★★★

I love the Thai Chai, especially with food of the same name! It's the perfect companion, especially when iced! Thanks for the sample, Adagio!

★★★★★

I delayed having this tea for a little, because I wasn't sure exactly what I was getting into, but the taste was wonderful, and the smell of the tea as it brewed made me think of dark, winter nights, after the holidays, when they still linger and your house may still smell faintly of cinnamon, and spice, but the carols have long since faded. It's a beautiful tea and I will probably get more in the future (I got a decent amount with my little sample.)

★★★★★

This tea is amazing. From opening the package and enjoying the lovely aroma, to every delicious sip. I actually enjoy this tea brewed as is, and also, if I feel like having more a 'coffee shop' feel, adding some milk and honey to it. It is not as spicy as the masala chai, which I also like, and has sweet undertones.

This was my favorite chai in the sampler -- so much so that I came back for another bag! It has the beautiful spice notes you expect from a good chai, but the coconut tea and added coconut pieces give it a bright smoothness and a hint of sweetness on the finish, making it a lovely dessert tea. It's delicious warm on chilly nights, but I really adore it chilled with a bit of soy milk for added creaminess.

★★★★★

This has to be one of my favorite Chais of all time. There's something about Chai with coconut in it that I absolutely love. Bestway to drink this is iced, with honey and cream, served alongside some tasty Thai Takeout.

I like the smell and flavor. I only think it could have had a tad less coconut.

★★★★★

One of my favorite chais that I've tried from adagio. subtler and not as in-your-face as the masala. The coconut isn't as prominent as I'd hoped it would be, but still there nonetheless. Because of the lemongrass component, it's not good for more than one steeping.

Like usual Chai, lovely spice and cinnamon taste to complement the milk I usually add to it. Always a favorite.

so addicted to this tea. i go through a ridiculous amount super quickly--it's a staple in my house.

★★★★★

Very mild and smooth, with just hints of coconut and lemongrass. Very fragrant. Delicious!

★★★★★

This is seriously delicious. I'm finding that the tea samples I ordered are either a hit or total miss, and this is a hit for sure. Slightly spicy on the tongue.. REALLY love the lemongrass and ginger notes. I have only sipped this straight so far, but I like the idea of maybe adding a little coconut milk. Will have to try that next time.

A plus Adagio! Enjoy this chai to whisk yourself away to a tropical getaway(Portugal anyone?). Chai always has that warm and snuggly feeling to it and can warm any chilly winter morning. Not an overpowering chai which is what I like the most about this one.

Deliciously fresh and crisp tasting! This is one of my favorite chais of all time now, and it tastes absolutely divine with some sugar and a dash of milk.

★★★★☆

Not my normal chai, but I like it! The lemongrass and coconut are a great combination- I will have to try it with coconut milk as suggested in the reviews!

So fragrant and delicious! The first time around, I found the suggested 2 teaspoons per cup to be just a bit weak for my tastes, so I added about half a teaspoon and it was perfect. I also tried it with coconut milk and a spot of honey. Lush!

Very different, but beautifully exotic and spicy. The coconut and lemongrass clinches the Thai flavor. My way is with a bit of sweetener and milk, but I could drink this plain too. I bet coconut milk would knock this out of the park! I will buy this again, for sure.

★★★★☆

Very lemongrass-y. Seems like a good tea for when you're sick...it feels therapeutic without tasting medicinal. However, I had to put a fair amount of honey in to make it really good. It isn't spicy at all and I wish it was, a little bit. I almost feel like you could use this tea in cooking applications, like to make a soup broth, or poach fish! I might experiment with that sometime.

★★★★☆

I want to love this tea, but there's something about it that is off. It is very strong and has a lot of spices. Normally I love spiced teas, but I think the coconut in this threw me off. Still pretty good, but not my favorite.

I can really taste the Thai element. It tastes quite a bit like spicy Thai tea. I would recommend this for someone who is bored by the simple chai masala. I agree with the reviews on here that say the flavors blend well. it's definitely it's own essence, and it's tough to think of it as dominated by any one note.

Luckily this was one of the more cheaper teas, because I really didn't taste anything special that stood out. I didn't even taste the coconut! It's heavy on the lemon and cinnamon and I did catch a hint of vanilla on the aftertaste. I guess I was expecting a more exotic chai flavor like I had at a certain huge bread chain, but if you're into spicy lemon - go for it!

This is simply the best tasting tea I have ever tasted.

★★★★★

The coconut of this tea is definitely the main focus. When brewed it takes on another smell as well, a hint of almond maybe. It has a bit of spice to it, nothing overpowering. With sugar the coconut really stands out. I rarely have coconut in my diet and this tea makes me want to go out and get a fresh coconut.

I usually loathe chai teas as a rule of thumb because I can't stand the spice vanilla combination but this flavor is fantastic! Not sure if I could taste the lemon grass but the soft aroma of coconut and the gentle bite of cinnamon were perfect
