Needed a bit more tea than I'm used to spooning out in order to get a good flavor but I'm not complaining. Good flavor and lightly spiced. I was hoping to get a great latte out of it with coconut milk but alas, not enough flavor came through. I'll keep playing with concentrations to see if I can get it right.
★★★☆☆
Good flavor. Maybe slightly weak though, should reduce water or increase steep time.

I don't drink very many chai teas because they are often too spicy. This one is light. I think the lemongrass helped to tame down the black tea a little. I smelled the coconut when I opened the package but it's not as strong in the cup. It's a good tea. I'd drink it warm in the winter. I haven't gotten into chai cold brews yet.

The coconut was strong but not overwhelming, and the lemongrass went well with it. Wasn't sure if i'd like it much at first, but it was a delight.

As with all Adagio teas, this was quite good! I had it with just some sugar crystals, my preferred tea prep method. Opening the pouch you definitely notice coconut and lemon grass scents. Brewed up it definitely keeps those scents and has similar flavor notes. As I take a few more sips I'm noticing more a more ginger forward sip than initially. This would be a great relaxation tea, or a good iced tea as it is both relaxing and refreshing.

Wow, the coconut and lemongrass make this Chai a real tropical treat, It is so smooth and I loved every sip

6/11/23 update: Gave this another try with communiTEA, which I'm glad. But I still don't care for the spice combo. If the coconut wasn't there, I'm convinced it'd taste like a thai soup. Glad others have enjoyed it though.
Feb. 13, 2020:I like the Thai tea, so I thought for sure I would really like the Thai Chai, but that wasn't the case. I didn't anticipate the strong lemongrass part. I do like lemongrass in other teas, but this Chai wasn't for me. I do think it might pair quite well with a thai dish, but overall I will stick to traditional chai.

Not sure what I think of this one. There are many flavors and a hint of coconut.

EDIT 6/11/2023: This was the tea for today in the June CT box. I read my review from last year. I liked it then as a hot-brewed tea, and I decided to cold-brew it overnight. I’m glad I did because I found that it’s just as good iced as hot. I could taste all the different spice flavors in it and none of them took over the taste. It put a little zing on my tongue. I recommended that you get this tea and then try it both hot and iced.
I like the flavors in this tea. The spice flavors are light, which allow the coconut to come through without being overpowered. It tastes like a nice, light warm weather tea. I haven’t tried it iced but it was good hot as well as when it cooled off a bit.

I'm just starting to appreciate spiced teas, this one with the coconut and cardamon and ginger was nice. No astringency (5 mins @195). The cinnamon wasn't overwhelming and no cloves! (Cloves are my nemesis). I enjoyed this quite a bit but I still prefer fruitier teas during the summer. I may have enjoyed this more in the fall or winter or even early spring.

A fun twist on chai, with notable lemongrass and coconut flavors.

The coconut and ginger flavors are not a good mix for me. I think if coconut as a cool flavor and ginger as a warm flavor so it is just weird.

A fun twist on a chai. The coconut lightens the chai and makes it a great summer tea. I seeped at 200 degrees for 2 minutes.

I really like this tea. I prefer it iced either plain or Thai iced tea style. I'll drink it hot too though! I love the spices and coconut flavor.

A delicious chai with the coconut and cardamom as the dominant flavors. Very smooth, even with all the zing the cinnamon was bringing to the party. The lemongrass had to fight to make it's presence known until I poured the tea over ice; and the lemongrass came soaring through alongside the ginger. Iced perfection!

The spices were overpowering. I prepared as suggested with sugar and coconut milk, but wish I had tried it plain as well to get a better review. Really didn’t care for this one.

In the bag: An even medley of several ingredients. Roughly chopped lemongrass, black tea, and cinnamon chips are the most prominent. I also see plenty of ginger bits and cardamom seeds. A few coconut shavings top off this blend.
On the nose (pre-steep): Coconut, cinnamon, and a hint of ginger. As advertised, chai with a coconut twist.
On the nose (post-steep): Cardamom and ginger have taken the lead. Whispers of ginger and coconut.
On the tongue (pre-sweetener): Unsweetened cocoa is the lead flavor, but just barely. Kicks of cinnamon and ginger appear towards the end of the sip and linger into the aftertaste. Accent of coconut throughout. No astringency.
On the tongue (post-sweetener): The sweetness is a welcome addition but doesn't change the underlying flavors.
Opinion: An excellent blend. I'm a fan of chai to begin with, and adding the Thai twist adds another layer of flavor and complexity. The coconut adds a pleasing contrast to the spice.
Preparation: First steep 6 min, second steep 12 min. Both @ 195 ℉. ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener.

This is a great chai mix with the addition of lemongrass and coconut giving that little extra touch to the spice mix.

This tea was absolutely delicious! I love the flavors of chai and coconut together. They contrast but yet compliment each other to make a delicious combination. This one has a nice balance of both flavors. One I will definitely want to keep a stock of!

Updated Review: 6/11/23 from 3 to 5 Stars! I have really grown to love this blend! Light Chai Spice, Yummy & Coconut-y, a splash of Lemongrass-y, too! If you are in the mood for Cozy Chai vibes which are not too too spicy-- with a mingling of some fun Coconut and bit of savoy and tangy notes of LemonGrass in the background. ..This is perfection. Especially good with or after a Thai dining experience.

This was a nice chai. I could have used even more coconut flavor, but there are lots of options to amp it up with all the coconut products in my house (oil, milk, shredded...). Definitely near the top of my favorite chais list.

I love this chai. My only complaint is that I find it a bit TOO spicy. I've solved this problem by mixing it 1:1 with a less potent chai I purchase locally. The result is divine.

I make ice teas and then carbonate them to make seltzers, and this tea was okay. The spice notes were very strong in the seltzer and covered up the coconut and tea flavors.

This one is in my top 3. Maybe it's because I live in a tropical island but the coconut in this chai makes it extra special for me. When I'm feeling super indulgent, I'll have it with a spoonful of condensed milk.

Thai Chai is a lovey, dreamy chai. I’ve been drinking this for several weeks and I’m not tired of it yet. The long lemon grass leaves and coconut shavings are a little difficult to scoop and can change the flavor depending on how much you include in your cup.

Thai Chai is my number one favourite tea that Adagio has produced. I steep it in my 6 oz cup for the full 5 minutes, add a tip of clover honey and a couple drops of half and half cream for a perfect cuppa anytime of day. It is my favourite to serve to guests - it always gets rave reviews.
Upon opening the package, there was a compelling assortment of ingredient sizes, shapes, colour and texture. The aroma drew me in as I paused to savour all my favourite ingredients for teas and cooking.
Upon steeping, the nose continued to be delightful. I did find that on the tongue it was earthy and not as amazing as it smelled. I added a teaspoon of clover honey and a couple drops of cream and the flavours of cinnamon, ginger, coconut, cardamom, lemon grass beautifully blended and danced on my tongue. It ends with a satisfying dry, earthy cardamom linger... Mmmmmmm.
This has become my new favourite morning tea.

It smelled amazing, but I feel it didn't have the same 'spice' profile I love in a traditional chia. The coconut added a nutty flavor but the rest wasn't a strong chai in my opinion. If you like a milder chia this might be up your ally.
*update, I really do enjoy the mellow flavors of this, but it' not reminiscent of chia in my opinion more like a thai tea with coconut.

SO DELICIOUS! I really like this tea on its own but especially when combined with equal parts White Toasted Coconut tea. I serve it with 1½ pumps of Madagascar Vanilla syrup and a splash of heavy whipping cream/ 8 oz tea.

I am a huge fan of different types of chai and this blend is wonderful. On opening the pouch the smell of the coconut was a bit overpowering but after brewing balances beautifully. Even without any type of milk this is just a smooth, naturally sweet tea with a gorgeous finish. I'm now a big fan of this one.

8/10 I didn’t realize this had lemon grass when I ordered. I’m not a fan of lemongrass, despite that, this is a really good tea. I wish they had one like this without the lemongrass. The lemongrass isn’t too strong, but is definitely noticeable.
