I didn't love this tea as much as I hoped but it is really good iced
Timeless duo of apples and spice. Juicy and pleasantly sweet, like warm applesauce, with a clean, refreshing texture.

I didn't love this tea as much as I hoped but it is really good iced
I was a little disappointed with this tea at first. It smelled amazing, but it seemed a little weak. I added some honey and milk (half and half tastes even better), and it complimented the flavor perfectly. This is now one of my favorite teas. I highly recommend it with milk and honey.
Wonderfully spicy, not incredibly apple-y unless sweetened, but better black. Mmm.
I didn't taste much of the apple. I was disappointed.
I didn't taste as much apple as I was expecting, nor did it taste particularly spiced. But it wasn't terrible either. I think next time I'm going to try steeping it longer to see if it brings out more of the flavor.
Ok chai but not my favorite. Sharp scent of spices - anise, cloves, ginger. Apple, not so much. Requires less milk than usual. Also less sugar.
If you were looking for the essence of fall weather in tea form, this is it! The chai is robust and the apple tempers it beautifully. Delicious, and a must-have for every Sept-Nov.
It smelled like Christmas and tasted like spiced apple cider. It was delicious. There was a bit of a kick to it though, probably the ginger, but it was absolutely amazing.
Has a nice light spice flavor! It's the lightest of the chai teas I think, and I really enjoy it
Almost like hot mulled cider, but with the convenience of just having to brew it once. and with a touch of caffeine. :)
This little cup of awesome smells delicious and tastes very nice, too! I wish it had a little bit more of a kick to it, but next time I'll try steeping it longer and see if that helps.
Despite chai's history of being served with milk, I think this tea does better without it, in order to allow the apple and subtle orange flavor to shine through. 10/10
I prefer using this one in other drinks, such as hot coco mixes. Okay on it's own, though.
Great tea! An excellent blend of spices with the fresh taste of apple. I love cinnamon to death, so I add a 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon to the already spicy cup. I didn't much like it with milk, even though I usually put milk in my tea. If I had to describe this tea in one work it would be: Autumn. It has the apple orchard taste, the spice of fall cinnamon. One whiff will make you swoon. One thing though, it is not the tea for bedtime! It is caffeinated for one thing, and the spices make you feel wide awake. I would recommend a nice hot cup of adagio's chamomile tea before bed. Great tea, definitely getting a refill soon!
With a bit of sugar, spiced apple chai is everything I could want on a cold day. I love apples, and the apple flavor is deliciously prominent, which makes this one of my favorite chais.
I expected it to be better, but it was still good.
I would have liked it if the apple flavor came through more, and the spice-to-tea ratio could have been better. But overall I liked this tea a lot. I enjoyed it even more when on an impulse I mixed in some root beer.
I love apples and tea, so I thought I would try this. Chai just is not my type of tea.
I loved this chai! It has an amazing aroma - almost like an extra spicy spiced cider.
I knew this tea was going to be good when I opened the packet and got a good whiff of the contents. There was an almost nutty smell with toasted apples. The tea was even better with a smooth mouth feel and a lovely taste. No bitterness at all even though I steeped it for five minutes. Try it with a teaspoon of honey. It was so good I ordered the 16 oz tin as I knew I would drink it again and again.
This tea tastes like christmas, but I suppose most chais do. The apple in it really compliments the christmas feel though.
Interesting flavor! Added a bit of sugar to this one, need to try with a little milk too. I wonder if it's possible to steep it in hot apple cider...
This is wonderful! It's like a glass of warm cider.
I like chai teas, so I thought I would try a sample of this one. The apple cinnamon mixes good with the chai. I like the roosibos apple cinnamon just a little better for the apple cinnamon flavor. This will be one to drink when I don't want a full chai flavor.
I used the tea-liquid ratio on the bag, but I definitely recommend making it on the stove and using some milk instead of just water. Unsweetened vanilla almond milk works very well, and I used approximately 1/3 to 1/4 milk of the total liquids used (so about one cup milk for every two cups of water and then use enough tea for 3 cups). Bring the milk/water to a boil before adding the tea (and if you wish, add sugar first as well. it definitely rounds out the drink and makes it into a little cup of happiness). I found adding the tea directly and straining it after it brewed worked best. My entire family loved this tea and insisted I purchase the larger bag with my next order.
Tastes like a pretty standard chai with a little bit of an apple-y undertone to it.
I am a great lover of chai so I sort of assumed I would like this no matter what. And I was right. There was just enough apple and a little extra spice to make it perfect for the rainy fall weather that I had to deal with today. It was lovely with a bit of sugar.
Yummy! It is like apple cider and chai mixed together. A very fragrant apple smell. Perfect for a chilly October afternoon.
I like the tea when it is freshly done and still hot, but it has a weird aftertaste to it especially as it cools down. I think it might just be the apple/fruitiness part of it and the fact that I really prefer the spice part.
The aroma of this tea is powerful and pleasant! The taste of this tea is awesome. It's not overwhelming as I was afraid it might be.
Hot dam this tea is my jam!!! I adore this tea, out of all the chai's I've tried on Adagio, this one is by far my favorite. Try adding some vanilla flavoring or cream tea to make it taste like an apple pie or cobbler.
I loved this tea! It was a lot like a cider. Overall a great tea with which to get cozy.
Not very strong at all, but the combination of apple and spice is tasty.
Not a huge fan of chai, but this was pretty good and even better iced.
Smells yummy. Makes a perfectly functional spice tea with a faint flavor of apples, but it's just not as apple-y as I'd hoped.
This is a favorite of mine as well as my students'. It goes pretty fast!
I bought this for my boyfriend... he loved it! He said it had a very delicious taste, similar to apple pie.
Spicy chai with a nice fall scent. I'm going to try the next cup with some milk to make it a little smoother.
Perfect fall tea. Just spicy enough with that hint of fruity goodness.
Fall in a cup! Perfect with stevia and a little soy milk.
This is something you drink when you are sick only. Other wise it is too much for your throat.
A little weaker than other chai I have tried. It was good, but I don't think steeped apple pieces are my thing.
It's what you expect it to taste and smell like. It's masala chai with apple tones. It's strong enough apple that you notice but not overpowering the chai. I like it, but for this flavor mood I'd be more likely to reach for a cup of cider. Very good for what it's mean to be.
I wasn't impressed with my first cup of this tea but I realized later that I had actually brewed it a bit too long so be careful of that. I brewed another cup at 5 minutes exactly and wow... great tea especially on a cold night.
When brewing for the full five minutes I've been getting a bitter edge to the tea, and even when adding in extra cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger I'm not getting the kick I wanted from it. I mixed in a little cidar yesterday and that really helped. One reviewer mentioned using sugar brought out more of the apple taste so I'm going to try that next time.
Regardless, it's a great smell and a decent drink and is worth having around just for that.
I really enjoyed this tea! I brewed it with only water this time, but next time I will add some milk and honey and I think it will be perfect!
Very tasty. Spicy apple, great for Autumn. I like to drink it with milk and a little sugar.
This tea brews into such a pretty color! I thought that the taste was a bit weak after I brewed it, but I added a little sweetener and then it was wonderful! A great autumn tea!
Not as good as I expected--way too much cinnamon and not enough apple.
I love chai and this one is no exception! Definitely a very tasty chai tea. I can taste all the flavors. My only regret would be that I steeped it for 4 minutes and used 1 tablespoon for about 11 or 12 oz of liquid. I would increase the steeping time to 5 minutes and add maybe a 1/2 teaspoon. But other than that, fantastic! Oh, and I added about 2 teaspoons of sugar.
