Really like like bold chai. Thit reminds me of sugar cookies somehow with hints of caramel and spices. Great dessert tea lightly sweetened

★★★★☆

Umm, the spiciness of this reminds me of crisp fall leaves. I brew mine a little stronger and it is so satisfying with a little milk. Mmmm.

I'm not a huge fan of Rooibos, but that being said, I love this tea!! The vanilla and Chai flavors are beautifully balanced. I live off this as it's caffene free! The best of both worlds!

OK I do enjoy the loose tea using the ingenuiTea small pot.

I absolutely love this tea, all of the taste of the roobios with all the flavors and complexities of a chai tea, not too strong, i make about 5 cups at a time and was still craving more once I finished the thermos off!

This tea is amazing from start to finish. I highly recomend this

I discovered I'm not crazy about rooibos but that's not the rooibos' fault! This is more than palatable and no worry of the caffeine when it's not wanted.

★★★★★

I love chai tea and was so excited to try this flavor! I wasnt disappointed and will definitely be buying this again!

★★★★★

This was my first sample of Adagio tea and I am so pleased! The flavor and aroma are wonderful- I have always liked Chai, but this one has such a wonderful depth of flavor... I cannot wait to try the other teas that I purchased!

Honestly this is not my favorite Chai from Adagio (that is the Thai Chai ummmm, yummy and an original idea that to the best of my knowledge nobody else has tried to duplicate and that is a good thing). While this is an OK tisane herbal infusion (and I do like roobios)and is fine for evening before bed drinking, especially if you are caffeine sensitive, I prefer something in the evening a bit less spiced. I can see where this would make an extremely nice liquid base though for desserts, especially in baking of those lovely sweetened products that most of us love to eat but really should not overly indulge in them. In short, if you are looking for something in a chai without caffeine give it a try in the sample size and see if this truly is your cup of tea.

85/100 - Always a classic. It has that signature spice that rooibos chai is known for.

Great when mixed with milk and sugar. My roommate liked this tea the best. It is a great way to begin the morning. Great Vanilla flavor. There seems to be an intrinsic sweetness to the tea which makes it desirable if you do not need extra calories.

★★★★★

I've been drinking a vanilla red rooibos in teabag form for the last year, and the intensity of flavor in this blend is 100x better. I love it.

This is one of the better chai's I've tasted. The flavor is very rich and the cardomon flavor is distinctly delicious. Sometimes I combine it with a little cinnamon or black tea for the caffeine. Finishes great with a dab of honey!

★★★★★

This is sooo good! Would definitely buy this again.

★★★★★

This is a deliciously smooth Rooibos. One of my favorites. The spice mixed with the Rooibos is very good. and the vanilla really smooths things out for an almost creamy smooth and spicy mixture.

I'm a newbie when it comes to the rooibos, and tea in general, but this one is pleasant when brewed for personal taste, which I like a bit stronger. The aroma of the tea is tantalizing, though the flavor doesn't seem to do it justice. I wasn't blown away, but it's good enough that I'll have it again.

★★★☆☆

I'm just not a big fan of rooibos, so I'm more likely to add this to something else. My husband loves this, though. It was his favorite out of the whole sampler.

★★★☆☆

I really like chai tea, and the rooibos is not as bitter as it sometimes can be with the addition of the chai spices.

★★★★☆

The spice is nice, however the vanilla is not very noticeable.

★★★★☆

vanilla is quite nice. Subtle so not overpowering and the chai is perfectly balanced-one of the nicest chai's I have had".

Overall I liked this tea, the rooibos is more prominent than the black is in the masala, I have yet to try boiling it in milk though.

This tea was very good. I've had it a few different ways, and feel that it is enjoyable most of the ways. As I have stated, I enjoy spiced teas hot, I do not like them once they cool or when they are iced. So, I had all of these teas hot, and drank the whole cup before it cooled to room temperature.

The first way I enjoyed this tea was hot with no milk and no sugar. The spices were prevalent and blend well with the Rooibos for a rich Chai. This way however, I feel the spices overpower the vanilla and it gets lost.

So, I tried it again, hot with no milk and some sugar. Adding the sugar lessened the blow of the spices and allowed for the subtle hint of vanilla to shine through the spice. This was probably my favorite way to enjoy this tea.

Finally, I had the tea hot with milk and sugar. This way was also enjoyable as the sugar softened the spices and the milk helped to meld the spices with the tea to make a smooth spiced infusion.

I especially liked this tea because it was so versatile. You could have the tea a multitude of ways and each one enhanced an attribute of the tea without compromising the tea as a whole. However, as per usual with chai, I cannot enjoy it cooled, nor can I resteep without sacrificing flavors and for no fault of it's own, the tea loses points for that.

Very flavorful with a nice strong taste. Blends well with warm milk for a richer drink on a cold night.

This is my favorite so far from Adagio. The sweetness of the vanilla and the spicy kick of the masala spices ease me into comfort that lasts and quiets me down to get some work done or just to enjoy some solitude. This tea is sweet enough to have as a mid-morning or afternoon snack yet the spiciness holds up well. I've found that this tea is nearly impossible to oversteep. I generally use 2 heaping tsps of tea per 8-10oz cup.

I like that this tea is caffiene free, great to drink before bed!

I really liked the contrast of vanilla and spices. I tend to prefer tea a bit stronger than some people. I found that 5.5 grams per 8 oz of water was best for me.

This is my first experience with a Roobios. It is nice, but not really my thing.

This tea is ok - I feel like the spices tend to overpower the flavor of the rooibos.

One of my personal favorites, this tea is naturally sweet and doesn't need any extra sugar and one of the few I can drink without milk. It's light and delicious.

★★★★★

Has a very warm, spicy, rich taste- exactly what I expect in a chai, and it has the bonus of being caffeine-free. I didn't really taste the vanilla, most of what I got was chai spice, but there's nothing wrong with that, because that's what I wanted most. Would definitely recommend.

Rooibos chai is a fantastic creation! Try it if you love chai spice but would like a caffeine-free alternative to black tea.

★★★☆☆

Okay. I didn't find the chai very pronounced. Plain rooibos is too weak for me, so I was hoping this would have more of a kick, but this blend tasted almost like normal rooibos.

★★★★★

A great spiced rooibos and delicious caffeine-free alternative to Adagio's masala chai. Takes sugar and milk quite nicely.

And don't worry about over steeping or getting the water too hot! Not possible. Sometimes I will add rooibos to boiling water and let it continue to boil for the entire steeping time for maximum flavor-- plan accordingly for water loss though.

ok. nothing special about this chai. there are other in the family that are much better.

★★★☆☆

Fairly good-- don't steep this for too long or in water that is too hot!

★★★★☆

This was pretty good though a bit too much spice to give it 5 stars for me.

★★★★☆

The smell of the leaves and other pieces is very nice and the taste rather good, maybe a tad spicy.

This is a wonderful tea - great flavor - warms you up from the inside out. Great with a little bit of steamed milk for an extra special touch

★★★☆☆

Too much cinnamon for my taste. I gave it to some friends who like a spicier tea.

★★★★★

This is a perfect decaf winter tea, will warm you right up.

★★★★★

I'm very excited to have such a delicious chai option for those times when I don't want caffeine. The vanilla in this blend lends it richness even without adding milk or cream.

★★★★★

Lots of vanilla flavor with oak-like after-notes. A really tasty treat for when you don't want or need caffine. A little cinamon flavor would have been nice, but over all, a very good drink.

I like the idea of this tea, but it's so spicy it actually upsets my stomach a little bit. I guess I need to stick to a plainer rooibos.

★★★★☆

Mmmmm. Spices and rooibos. Now there's a great combonation!

★★★☆☆

This was a bit disappointing. It was not spicy enough.

★★★☆☆

This tea was surprisingly spicy. Personally, I'm more of a sweets than a spice person, so I had to put lots of sugar in it to balance the bite.

I had a hard time tasting the difference between this and the Masala chai. The only difference to me was the stronger flavor (which probably was due to steeping). I'm not sure, but I doubt I'll purchase this again.

★★★★☆

I prefer straight masala chai, but this is an interesting take. The addition of the vanilla is the best part.
