The vanilla gives a sweet flavor to the sometimes tart flavor of rooibos. This is a very nice "dessert" tea. The flavor is not overpowering but just the right compliment of vanilla.
This is very similar in taste to the Masala Chai and serves as a great alternative for those seeking a nice spiced flavor without the caffine.
Maybe I just can't brew it right, but I was unimpressed with this tea. I couldn't taste the vanilla at all, and the rooibos bits fall through even the tiny holes of my mesh strainer.

absolutely delish with some cream in it! Very nice flavor, spice it not too overwhelming. Great on a fall day!
I'm not personally a big fan - the vanilla just doesn't seem to jive right with the rooibos and chai flavors to me.

This chai is particularly strong to me, but that only makes it all the more enjoyable. You can really taste the ginger and spices in each sip.

Between this one, and the Masala Chai are my two favorites. It does have a bit of a bite, but this chai is quite exceptional!

I have a hard time just getting my nose out of the bag long enough to brew this one. Incredible smell, incredible, complex taste. Loves every sip. I think it might be even better chilled.

This is pretty good for when I need a cup of tea without the caffeine, especially in these summer months when it's good to stay hydrated. I've never been a big fan of chai tea since the spices are usually too strong, but this blend doesn't overwhelm me and I adore the light kick of cardamom. To be honest I don't detect very much vanilla at all, but there is a light touch of sweetness that is nicely amped with a drizzle of honey. This blend is interesting enough that I won't get bored as I often do with herbal teas and will enjoy experimenting with cream, sugar, and maybe a pinch of dried coconut added to the tea ball.
I like this tea, the spice is not to overpowering. I like to add this to a black tea once in a while as well.

Spicy...but I don't really taste the vanilla in the vanilla chai.
The flavor is very rich. However, I am not sure what the rooibos adds to this blend, as opposed to regular chai. Regardless, this is still very good tea.
Smooth taste with a slight hint of a kick. I find it blends well with spiced apple chai. Will order again.

With some sugar or honey and milk, cream, or soy creamer this tastes just as decadent as both my favorite chai latte concentrate and chai latte powdered mix. But this is MUCH healthier and much less expensive.

I've never had rooibos vanilla chai before, and I am glad I discovered this one. It has a sharp and refreshing flavor to it, and it's also great with milk.
I prefer some caffine in my tea but great taste and good to have on hand for guests that don't want caffine!
This smells amazing! If it weren't for the fact that it would spoil, I'd leave the can open in the kitchen because it smells really good. I have yet to try it in milk, I'm sure it would make an amazing chai latte.

my favorite tea! i like starbucks' vanilla rooibos, and this is so much better. the tea is full and smooth and rich, without adding anything but water. the sweetness of the vanilla is not too overpowering and there is a hint of spice. perfect blend.
Couldn't really taste the vanilla but it was still a good tea. Again I was conservative on the brew time so hoping for more flavor with a longer steeping time.

This is my absolute most favorite tea! Best chai I've found yet. Not only is it fantastic by itself, but it blends well with almost anything. I'm having a lot of fun experimenting with this one! I'll be ordering a larger quantity next time.
This one wasn't for me. It had an weird aftertaste and I tended to get an upset stomach afterward. My dad loves it though, so to each his/her own. The stars reflect my opinion, not his.
I love chai and was happy to find a nice herbal blend that is full of flavor!
