Good chai flavor, made mine with milk and just a little sugar. Like the added vanilla with the chai spices.

★★★★★

this tea is great, always gotta have another cup!!!

★★★★★

Definitely a favorite to be bought frequently and often

★★★★★

A nice, smooth flavor. Better when mixed with other teas as it tends to get a little bland when you drink 1 cups straight.

I can't wrap my head around this tea. The initial smell when you open the pouch is heavenly, but then the flavor is just... off. It improves significantly with some sugar and milk/cream/whatever you prefer, but it's still not *right* to me. In spite of that, the mouth feel of it is fantastic--as I said, it's very confusing. I'm going to try cutting it with something milder later, to see if I can mellow it out a bit.

The vanilla is strong with this one. Its much like the force in that it captures and controls your taste buds, with the spice of the big picture falling to the wayside. Its the perfect nighttime cuppa whether you're snuggling in your covers or a tuantuan.

I don't usually care for rooibos tea, but I love chai and thought this would be a good decaf alternative to try. The chai spices do a great job of masking the medicinal rooibos flavor, and the vanilla adds sweetness without becoming cloying. This one is wonderful brewed with milk, no sugar or honey needed. The spice is a bit weaker than I usually prefer in my chai, which causes me to use more than the recommended amount per cup, but it is otherwise a very good decaf alternative to traditional black chai tea.

My second brewed tea from Adagio and I am still a happy customer. I really enjoyed the subtle lingering taste of vanilla with each sip. My only issue with this tea was that the sample stated that it was good for 10 cups, but using the recommended amount of tea (2 heaping tsp / cup), I doubt if I will get more than 6 cups from the sample. A very minor qualm for a great tea that I plan to buy more of in the future.

Not quite as robust as a black tea chai, but awfully nice just the same. Another no-caffeine option for late in the evening, a relaxing, healthy cuppa.

One of my favorite rooibos blends. Just sweet enough from the vanilla, spicy from the chai and made a little more complicated and unusual with the rooibos. While I don't believe this is caffeine-free, it's certainly not a high-test flavor, and I love having it at quieter times for something warm and cozy.

A pretty good cup of chai. I don't really pick up on the vanilla that much, but still a good cup nonetheless.

Very relaxing and very chai. Love the vanillia in it

I love chai teas, but I also love drinking tea at night, so rooibos chai is my favorite night-time tea! My only issue with this has nothing to do with the tea quality or flavor... I just need to get some paper filters so the tiny rooibos leaves don't go right through my mesh strainer!

This tea was really good plain. No Ned for milk and sugar. Had a very nice spice flavor. Need to order more. :) yumm

★★★★★

I like this tea a lot, both hot and cold. Once it is brewed, what I like to do is mix in a tiny bit of vanilla coconut milk. So good.

★★★★★

I've had Chai tea from coffee houses and this by far is THE best Chai tea I've had so far. It says alot that my husband really enjoys this tea and he is not a tea or coffee drinker. Thank you for such a tasty treat. I make it with water, raw honey and fat free cream.

This tea was much lighter than I was expecting it to be, perfect for a snack time/ afternoon time tea

I have just begun drinking chai teas (I harbor an intense fondness for Earl Greys of most all kinds) and wanted a nighttime alternative. I purchased a sample of this and basically wanted to spend the remainder of the evening it arrived sniffing the bag. I get more vanilla in the bag than I do in the brew. the spices are more enhanced in the latter than the former. This is fab with honey and milk to taste. Some evening soon, for extra credit points, I plan to brew this in a saucepan with the milk rather than steeping it in water.

I thought this tea was pretty good, however, I like the rooibos earl grey much better.

★★★★★

Very good, mild vanilla chai. Nice vanilla after taste. Good morning tea. Highly recommend.

★★★★★

Personally, I love any sort of vanilla flavoured tea, but this one is definitely at the top of my list! It's nice and smooth, with a natural sweetness to it (which is great, since I don't like adding too much sugar to my tea.) and definitely perfect for a rainy day! Try it iced with a little milk and sugar on a hot day. :)

Definitely different. Not great but not horrible. Just not my favorite. Had an aftertaste

★★★★★

Mild, creamy and very smooth. It tasted a little like an orange creamsicle, but maybe I just happened to scoop up a lot of orange peel. I brought 1 cup water, 1/2 cup almond milk and 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar to a boil and simmered 1 tablespoon of the chai for 3 minutes.

★★★★★

I discovered that this tea gets taken to another level with some french vanilla creamer. It's so amazingly good, and I always drink plenty since it is decaf.

I'm not a huge fan of chai. I find the taste overpowering and sweet. This one is definitely sweet, but the vanilla accents give it a good flavor.

★★★★★

My first adagio tea, and I'm hooked! the spices are warm and delicious, the vanilla is pleasant, and the rooibos is, well, rooibos. I wish you had more herbal chais!

★★★★☆

Not as spicy as I like in a chai but the sweetness was definitely there!

★★★★★

Smooth and sweet, with a nice spicy kick at the end. I haven't tried it on its own yet, but I've mixed a pinch into a chestnut based blend of mine and it was fantastic. Looking forward to trying this with a bit of milk - I doubt you'd really need any sort of sweetener here.

★★★★★

Instead of steeping this tea in just water, I steeped it in half water and half vanilla soy milk (if you do this, too, just don't forget that when soy milk is finished being heated on the stove, it starts to boil over VERY quickly). But the accidental mess was totally worth it. Steeping it in just water didn't work for me (even with adding milk afterwards). The spices come with a bite that works perfectly with the sweetness and fullness of heated milk.

This tea is either great on its own or with other accented teas. I would highly recommend trying this chai or any of their other chais.

★★★★★

My husband doesn't care for rooibus, but I love it! If you are thinking that this covers the flavor of rooibus, according to my husband it does not. I particularly like that this chai because is the only one of the assortment without caffeine. It makes a very nice nighttime tea.

★★★★☆

Great with a fair amount of sweetener and a dash of cream. Good on its own with food as it has a bit of kick to it. Good lunch time tea.

Really delicious chai. My husband, who is a coffee drinker, will go out of his way to have this tea instead of coffee.

★★★★★

One of my favorite teas. Just the right balance between the rooibos, vanilla and chai.

★★☆☆☆

I feel that this chai was too spicy. The cinnamon flavor was overwhelming.

★★★☆☆

The spiciness of this tea overpowers the vanilla. Maybe I would enjoy it more if it were snowing and a fire was lit. Getting ready to make a second cup, but this time I will add a pinch of chocolate chai. Chocolate makes everything better!

★★☆☆☆

The spices was strong for my taste... it could be just me. Maybe I could improve by diluting it a bit.

★★★★★

This tea was nothing short of glorious. Highly recommended if you want the spicy kick of chai without the caffeine buzz.

This tea had a great flavor and I look forward to having more of it in the future.

★☆☆☆☆

Maybe I got a bad batch or something... but ugh... shudder. This was terrible. I thought it would be good since I like the masala chai and the black spice tea, but this was just like a burning, acrid ginger taste. It hurt my throat going down. I took two sips then threw it out.

Best tea for when you feel unwell. Makes beautiful lattes (even better that you can really steep this without worrying about tannin bitterness.) On sick days (or any winter day) I like to set it in a pot on the stove, breathe in the steam, and drink the stuff all day. Smells, tastes, and looks wonderful. I go through this stuff pretty quickly.

The vanilla tasted a bit chemical. less of a 'vanilla bean' taste and more of a 'vanilla flavoring' taste, if you know what I mean. I found the chai spices burn a bit on the tongue, which is fine if you're mixing with milk but not the best for us drinkers of plain tea. Great that it's caffeine free and I newly appreciate my Ingenuitea infuser for keeping those pesky bits of rooibos out of my cup!

This is a great tea. It has a great balance of spice. Great with cream and sugar.

★★★☆☆

not as smooth as I thought it would be with the vanilla, but still good

★★★★☆

The chai is pretty strong, and nearly overpowers the rooibos and vanilla. Bit of a kick in the mouth plain, although sugar and milk mellow it out nicely, and the spices are a good contrast to the sweetness then. Might try blending it with another rooibos tea to even it out.

★★★★★

I love this tea so much. I've had chai before but never to this caliber. It's both citrusy and smooth tasting.

★★★★★

I loved the taste of this tea, spicy and warm. I added splenda because I can't process real sugars, and a little lactose free milk. It make me feel fuzzy on this inside.

★★★★☆

There's definitely heat to the spices in this one, but blending really tones this quality down. Chais are too intense for me to drink as is, but the vanilla and rooibos of this one definitely made a difference. still wouldn't drink without cream and sugar, though.

★★★★★

This is a fragrant and spicy blend. This is the perfect tea for a cold night, since it's caffeine-free and warming, the spices burning my tongue in a delightful way. Not too strong, the spices are well balanced. It doesn't need much sugar to make it sweet, so start with a little and add more if you want it sweeter. Delicious!

I wish THIS had been the first hai I had ever tried, I might not have shyed away so much! Warm and soft, I let it steep for a full ten minutes and after the fist few sips I added just a splash of almond milk. This is exactly what I needed on this snowy day. The cinnamon, clove and spices are not overpowering, more of a warm glow of the fire vs a roaring bonfire! I'll be back for more!
