Really good taste, but a tiny bit stronger than I like.

This might be my favorite chai I've ever had. The clove and cinnamon are very prominent, though not overpowering (at least not to me, but I absolutely love cinnamon so I'm a bit biased). I'm on my second steep right now and its much milder, but still excellent. I've got a feeling this will definitely become a cold-weather staple for me.

I am not a huge fan of Rooibos but my boyfriend is and he loves this one! I will say I do like the chai flavor in it!

★★★★☆

This is fine, but I prefer the rooibos chai or the rooibos vanilla. I don't feel like this combination does as well in melding the flavors and you end up losing them in the end. Still a very tasty tea, but there are better options via adagio.

★★★★★

One of the best chai blends I've ever had, perfect balance of spiciness and sweetness! I'm not a huge cinnamon lover but had no issues with the amount of cinnamon in this.

★★★★★

Lovely cup, sweet but hearty. I don't get a lot of vanilla (maybe that's the sweetness), but the spices are definitely there; I get a lot of cinnamon and clove. I add cream and sugar as well.

One of my favorites before bed, Having a caffeine free chai really helps me get to sleep.

★★★★☆

I thought the vanilla would make for a more appealing chai, but it didn't quite work for me, though the natural sweetness of the rooibos was pleasant.

★★★★★

My bf loves this so much. The sample was gone in days.

★★★★☆

Tastes like a spiced chai, I like that it's mostly caffeine-free. I don't taste any vanilla in it

★★★☆☆

I found the orange flavoring to be too strong and not fitting with the other flavors. Definitely not the Vanilla Chai I expected.

★★★★★

I wasn't sure I was going to like this at first but it tastes amazing! The smell is more potent than the flavor I feel but I am okay with that!

★★★☆☆

This was fine, but I think I just don't love rooibos. The chai spices were great, but the underlying tea base did not do it for me. Disappointing as I can't really have caffeine

★★★★★

Soooooo yummy!! Its spicy yet crisp and tangy. The vanilla adds warmth and enhances the flavor!

★★★★★

this tea is to DIE for. if you like the warm spice of chai and a sweet hint of vanilla, this is the tea for you. i could drink this every day and never get tired of it. a bit of honey is the perfect finish!

I ve been looking for another vanilla chai for awhile after being gifted some generic one that ended up being really good. I m not normally a fan of rooibos but blended with the spices and vanilla this has become my favorite tea! I steep anywhere from 8-10 mins

★★★★★

This is my favorite afternoon tea when I want something to perk me up without the caffeine. I usually have a big bag of this on hand!

★★★★★

Not quite what I was expecting from a vanilla chai, but it’s a good, no caffeine tea for an afternoon cup.

★★★★★

A combination of black tea and spices with soft vanilla touch. Very soothing. I typically add Masala Chai for a deeper taste.

★★★★★

I think this is my favorite of adagios roobios blends. I enjoy it with honey and milk, very warm and pleasantly nutty.

★★★★★

Delicious! I know some people who don’t like chai which I don’t understand and this chai is different than your typical chai. Loved it

★★★★★

Vanilla and chai are so yummy together. It is my go to rooibos.

★★★★★

Absolutely delicious- have to add a bit more to keep it spicy - I gobbled up a medium bag in about a week...drink a liter of it a day...

★★★★★

My favorite Chai tea. I love making ice lattes with it using cream with my frother.

★★★☆☆

I think I'm just sed to chai being thick and creamy. But even adding milk, it's just so thin. Chai seasonings don't seem super balanced.

★★★★☆

A little spicy, but otherwise perfect soft vanilla notes.

★★★☆☆

This tea makes is a pleasant cup. Not too spicy. The vanilla gives it a cozy flavor and sweetens the earthiness of the rooibos. I’m happy I tried the sample, though I’m not sure that I will spring for a bag.

★★★★★

One of my all time favorites from Adagio. I will often drink this one at night when I need my tea fix without the caffeine. I like it with a lot of milk and sugar to help balance out all the flavors and give me that sweet chai feel.

I let this steep a bit longer to get more flavor. It is a very mild tea, but great for sipping

★★★★★

First time trying this delightful blend and certainly will not be the last. I love chai tea and this blend is not an exception.

★★★★★

Tastes like a good chai! I am realizing that I don't think I can normally taste the difference between different types of chai -- but they all taste good!

★★★★★

This is my all time favorite chai tea! I just ordered more after trying the sample!

★★★★★

One of my favorite chai teas that I've have tried! Spicy and warm with a hint of citrus.

★★★☆☆

While it is chai tea, the flavor is more mild than I expected and the addition of vanilla, while noticeable, doesn't really add anything interesting to such a mild chai.

★★★★★

delicious chai. Love with a bit of honey and splash of cream

★★★☆☆

I received this in the communiTEA box. Not a bad chai, but also nothing about this tea stands out to me. The scent of it upon opening is heavily clove, but fortunately for me, it does not taste strongly of cloves,

★★★☆☆

As with most of the chai's Adagio sells, this one is very heavily spiced, almost to the point of unpleasant mouth feels. I did not enjoy drinking it plain; however, because the spices are so strong, it holds up well to sugar and milk. Another bonus of the spice is that it covered the rooibos, of which I am not a fan. This is a one and done for me, and I give my caffeine free chai vote to the honeybush pumpkin chai. (reviewed through CommuniTEA; 5 min @ 212F)

One sip and this tea was too much for me. The ginger and cinnamon were overpowering for me and burned on the way down as I drank. I don't know how people got other flavors from this tea because all I get a cinnamon and ginger.

★★★★★

I enjoy the tastes of Rooibos and chai so this was an automatic win! I will admit there is quite a bit of cloves in this version of chai so it is a bit spicy. This can be toned down by some sweetener and half and half. I did enjoy the addition of vanilla but there was no orange in my CommuniTEA packet.

A great chai with no caffeine? I'm in. The spice blend is really great, but I would probably add a scoop or two to make it a little stronger.

★★★★★

I'm not a huge fan of rooibos, so when I got a portion of this tea in the rooibos sampler, it went straight into Mr. Fusion's cup. This time, however, it was my communiTEA packet, so I made the cup for myself. The scent in the packet is beany and enchanting, with a strong grounding of hot cinnamon bark. After a (relatively, for an herbal blend) short steep, the resulting cup was sharp, and strongly rooibos- and cinnamon-forward. A generous splash of dairy and sweetener allowed the vanilla to push through, turning this into a cozy evening wind-down cup. Rooibos vanilla chai is now a strong contender on my 'maybe' list - the kind of thing I'd pick up a sample of if I was feeling bored and wanted something different. Brewed 212°F for 8 mins with rock sugar added
This is definitely not my favorite tea. Even though I brewed it for 8 minutes, it still tasted closer to spiced water to me. I did smell nice, though.

★★★★★

Delicious, bold flavor! It’s perfect when you want chai without the caffeine.

Upon opening the packet the scent of this tea hits you immediately, giving off spice and gingery notes. It brews up into a lovely orangey- brown brew.
This is a very credible non- caffeinated version of a chai, all of the elements are present, spice over a nice base. I sometimes find rooibos can be off-putting due to it's woodiness, however, it was quite perfect as a supporting flavour for the spices and balances the entire cup very well. I think this is a cup that can be enjoyed straight up, or sweetened and with milk to make it a latte.
I tasted everything in the ingredient list with the exception of the orange, for some reason that flavour never made it's presence known. Everything else existed in a harmonious balance and served up a very wonderfully spice elixir. I love that this is a version of a chai that can be enjoyed at night!

The addition of vanilla to this chai blend rounded it beautifully, it was very reminiscent of a chai latte. Lovely to sip when I want chai, but without the caffeine!

The Rooibos Chai tea in my CommuniTEA packet is now one of my favorite chai teas! I'm not a fan of either rooibos or chai, but they blended beautifully. I steeped at 212F for 10 minutes, then added a little almond milk and maple syrup for a latte. Delicious. The vanilla and orange provided a subtle sweetness. The chai spices were not too spicy, and there was no aftertaste from the rooibos. A second steep (15 min) was just as tasty. I will be adding this to my wishlist.

This tea was just OK. Not as flavorful as anticipated. I enjoyed the white Chai and raja oolong chai much better.
I brewed at 212°F for 20 minutes

I believe everything was present in my Communitea packet today. I really enjoyed this chai. I felt the chai flavors were balanced well with the rooibos.

★★★★★

Probably our most favorite Chai blend we've tried. The cinnamon and spices were nicely blended without overwhelming the other notes.

Tearing open the CommuniTEA packet today released aromas of strong spices and vanilla. Steeping at 212ºF for 7 minutes produced a pleasant amber brew. The first sip was a full palette including spicy ginger, sharp woody cloves, tingly cinnamon, and herbal zesty green cardamom all mingling together. The vanilla and rooibos was detectable in the smooth mouthfeel and finish. The orange must have been hiding behind all the rest of the spices, because it was not as perceptible in the mix.
For a decaf chai blend, this one got the thumbs up from my life partner, the resident chai lover. The blend is very cinnamon and clove forward with a hint of cardamom. Usually when I blend my own chai spices, I prefer to increase the cardamom to clove ratio in balance with a black tea. For a rooibos vanilla blend however, the smoother flavors of the base seem to benefit from the extra pungent clove and spices.

Overall, this is a great caffeine free chai blend. Perfect to satisfy those afternoon or nighttime chai cravings without keeping you up late.
