UPDATED: I ordered the Samurai Mate (took me awhile to find it on the site) and blended it with the Raja Oolong Chai - not only is it 'as good as' Teavana's blend - my co-workers and myself tried them at the exact same time. Unanimous decision was that Adagio was SO MUCH BETTER. I know this can be scary because it means its not the EXACT same - but I honestly can't imagine someone who loved Teavana's blend not thinking the same thing. It has all the same flavors but they are much more powerful and noticeable.

I ordered this tea based on the comparison to teavana's maharaja chai - I admittedly oversteeped it on my first cup (didn't hear the egg timer go off) however that is on me and not the quality of the tea. My reasoning for the 4 star vs the 5 star is that it's not quite as similar as I would have hoped (was missing the Samurai Mate flavoring that I love). However in and of itself it is a great flavor and I will most likely order it again.

I'm getting started with loose leaf tea and i thought this one tasted very cinammon-y, pretty good.

I love this tea! My morning tea and I enjoy every sip.

Oh, yum! My day just got off to a great start with a cup of this vibrant tea. If you love cinnamon, you will love his tea. It has a hint of cloves and a subtle underlying sweetness that is just right. I do not add anything to my tea and let the flavors shine through.

One of my favorite chais yet! This has a great flavor and just enough spice to keep up with the sweetness of how chai should be made.

I have very mixed feelings about this tea. Just as a drink in general, it s delicious. I adore the spices - it s a wonderful mixture and reminds me of the flavors you get at an Indian Restaurant. The downside? I think oolong is just too subtle and delicate a tea to handle these strong flavors. I taste all the spices (and adore them) but I can hardly taste the tea itself at all, which is disappointing. It s just buried under the spice.

My favorite chai blend! So rich and flavorful, I don’t need to add any sweetener- just a bit of milk for perfection. I keep ordering this by the pound because my husband and I both drink it daily.

Tasty when mixed with Fiery Cinnamon teas.

This is replacing Teavanna as my new favorite! Love the cinnamon flavor!

Oh my word, the cinnamon. This is best with coconut milk and no sugar; it helps mellow out the cinnamon and bring out more of the oolong taste. I like my chai sweet, so this one s not for me, but maybe I ll change my mind after a second pot another day.

Although not much of a chai (or spiced tea) fan, I ordered this hoping I would like it because I love oolongs (and trying new teas!). Unfortunately, it still isn't a super enjoyable experience but the combination of the ingredients did seem to be well balanced, just not my 'cup of tea'.

currently using to blend with grapefruit oolong and blood orange to recreate Teavana s Spiced Mandarin Oolong. This blend may match or surpass the original. LOVE it!

I was looking for a replacement forTeavana’s Majaraja Chai Oolong tea and decided to give Raja Oolong Chai a try. The Raja Oolong Chai is great, but it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. I’m going to continue to drink this without trying to make too many comparisons as I do feel that it makes for a great everyday chai to enjoy.

Strong cinnamon flavor. It's great substitute when I'm craving something sweet.

This tea blew me away. It rides a fine line between sweet and earthy. It tastes great hot and cold, so it s pretty versatile. I would really recommend it!

Tastes great in the morning. The bold flavors really wake me up.

This has become one of my favorite teas. A little splash of cream and it tastes just like my favorite coffee house tea.

Very nice blend of flavors. It makes for a nice full bodied, spicy tea. The only downside was the finish has an overly sweet taste, like too much sugar was added (and I drank it unsweetened). But overall a very pleasant cup.

What a wonderful tea! I enjoy the heartiness of this blend. Furthermore, the cinnamon flavor is simply delightful. This is now my 'go-to' tea.

This is a perfectly balanced chai. It is great hot or cold, with a touch of honey and coconut creamer.

I thought the smell of cinnamon or clove was overpowering but when drinking it, it was quite pleasant! I was surprised. Would buy it again.

This is hands down one of my favorite Chai teas. With the cinnamon at the forefront, it's got a strong, pleasant spice, but the cocoa nibs also adds a certain sweetness that's hard to miss. It's an excellent blend that plays really well together and has a variety of tastes rolled into one.

Spicy and full of flavor, I think it might even beat out my obsessive favorite of Teavana samurai chai

Great hot not so good cold a bit of a strong aftertaste.

This Chai is wonderful. It is very smooth and yummy.

Not as spicy as some chais but still a very lovely rich flavor. Love it with a bit of cream and sugar. It s a great treat for the afternoon

This is just okay. I like the concept, but the spices are bitter. This is another one I don t intend on finishing. I ll stick with some of the other chai offerings here and pass on this one.

We used to get the similar tea from Teavana. This is a great replacement and the cost is much nicer. Great Job!

This is a very nice spicy flavoured Chai. Will repurchase.

I bought the Raja Oolong Chai and Samurai Mate because they were Adagio's suggested replacements for Teavana's Maharaja Chai Oolong and Samurai Chai Mate, which I liked to blend together and was desperately missing. I was hoping to find a suitable replacement, and if anything these two are better! Both are good alone, but they really shine together in my opinion. I mix them 60% Raja Oolong to 40% Samurai Mate. This blend has the rich, warm spiciness I like with lighter fruity flavors blended in. Great with a little honey!

This tea is wonderful! I bought it to mix with the samurai chai but it smelled so good I tried it alone and I’m so glad I did! My new favorite.

This tea just was not for me. Not a fan of very spicy tea, and in my opinion this one was very spicy.

Normally when I find a tea I don't like I can still at least finish the cup. I had a few sips of this and had to dump it. And I have tried a lot of tea. Remember that scene in Elf with the perfume spray? Yeah. I'm pretty sure my reaction was similar. I hate writing a tea review that is this bad but I just could not stand this tea. Too sweet. Too cinnamon. So bad.

Very much smells and tastes like that “other tea brand” but is so much less expensive. This tea is the reason I now buy adagio

I should have gotten a full bag, I love spicy chais and was worried about the oolong and strength of the cinnamon but this is a top tier chai :)
