This tea was sooo yummy. I added milk, Mexican vanilla extract, and sugar. Wow.It tastes...very luxurious, rich from the cocoa nibs. I highly recommend this treat.

I bought a small amount of this tea based on the store clerks recommendation as a replacement for our favorite Teavana tea that is no longer available (Maharaja Chai Oolong). It is AMAZING and even better than our previous favorite. I went back and purchased a full pound of this one and I'm sure we will be back to get more in the future.
I've tried many Chai teas, and I was beholden to Teavana's Maharaja chai for years. With that gone, I tried many different options to get something similar. Adagio's Raja Oolong Chai is very close. In a blind taste test it is possible to tell them apart, there are subtle differences, but they're very similar and they are both wonderful. So if you're looking to replace your vanished Maharaja from Teavana, for me this is as close as I have found, and it's excellent.
This was just ok. I was looking for a chai to replace my Teavana chai so I purchased a few about 4 different types from here. My search continues!!
It’s the perfect combo of spices and sweet. I takes you into a fall wonderland and is by far my favorite tea.
Not as strong as I was hoping for but over all it has a good taste and smell
I wasted way too much of my sample trying to figure out the 'right' (for me) way to brew and drink this, and now that I've got it down I'm sad that I wasted so much on sad weak failure brews. The spice balance is awesome, and it's great with honey and sometimes a small touch of cream. Definitely gets a thumbs-up.
Delicious blend! I am a big fan. I have been looking for a replacement for Teavana’s Marhala oolong chai tea.
I was not expecting this tea to have such a strong cinnamon flavor, however I was not at all disappointed. I liked this chai a lot and think it is especially good for the price.
A nicely balanced Chai. I find black tea chai too astringent.
This work very nicely with Oolong. The only problem is I had to try different steep times to get it right.

So much cinnamon and clove it numbed my tongue and I couldn't taste anything else.
Love this tea, there is a delightful immediate sweetness, however, if not brewed correctly, the sweetness dissipates quickly and a bitter aftertaste is formed
I bought this to mix with Marsala Chai, but it was gone before I remembered to do that. I was a wee bit worried about the strong cinnamon smell when I opened up the package. The blending of different spices, chicory, and cocoa nibs with Oolong Tea is perfect for my taste buds. My adult daughter was disappointed when she visited and I told her we drank all of it. I will be reordering this blend.
I have always been so fussy about my beloved maharaja oolong. This is good substitute, although the cinnamon is a little artificial tasting. I added about 2 tbs. Of roasted oolong to the 3 oz package with a little extra dried ginger to even it out, and I'm happy. Thanks!
This tea is a nice cinnamon tea, but as a chai I was a little disappointed. I love the clove-y spiciness of the Masala Chai, and the Raja was lacking the depth of the other blend. My palate isn't developed enough for me to be able to tell what difference the Oolong makes in the blend. I will happily use the rest of the sample I ordered, but am unlikely to get it again, as I love the Masala so much more.
It smelled really strongly upon opening, almost like cinnamon candy or something. It was much milder after brewing, though, but not in a bad way. The oolong gave it an almost peachy taste that I had never had in a chai before, but I ended up liking a lot. Highly recommend
The chai flavora in this tea kind of overpower the delicate oolong.

Husband loved this one, simply brewed, with minimal dress up to it. A couple of brews, I added a cinnamon stick, and once added a heavy creamer. The flavor stood up well even with a second brew, and was very enjoyable. I will be a repeat customer for this one.
I like to drink this in the morning for a quick start.
It is a good tea, if you like cinnamon, because all you can taste is cinnamon.
A good chai; strong, perhaps a little too strong on the cinnamon. I like this best when paired with another chai or even with a flavored tea like Chestnut, to round it out.

This is my favorite tea! It is a robust chai with lovely spicy flavors that are not overwhelming.
UPDATED: I ordered the Samurai Mate (took me awhile to find it on the site) and blended it with the Raja Oolong Chai - not only is it 'as good as' Teavana's blend - my co-workers and myself tried them at the exact same time. Unanimous decision was that Adagio was SO MUCH BETTER. I know this can be scary because it means its not the EXACT same - but I honestly can't imagine someone who loved Teavana's blend not thinking the same thing. It has all the same flavors but they are much more powerful and noticeable.
I ordered this tea based on the comparison to teavana's maharaja chai - I admittedly oversteeped it on my first cup (didn't hear the egg timer go off) however that is on me and not the quality of the tea. My reasoning for the 4 star vs the 5 star is that it's not quite as similar as I would have hoped (was missing the Samurai Mate flavoring that I love). However in and of itself it is a great flavor and I will most likely order it again.

Oh, yum! My day just got off to a great start with a cup of this vibrant tea. If you love cinnamon, you will love his tea. It has a hint of cloves and a subtle underlying sweetness that is just right. I do not add anything to my tea and let the flavors shine through.
One of my favorite chais yet! This has a great flavor and just enough spice to keep up with the sweetness of how chai should be made.
I have very mixed feelings about this tea. Just as a drink in general, it s delicious. I adore the spices - it s a wonderful mixture and reminds me of the flavors you get at an Indian Restaurant. The downside? I think oolong is just too subtle and delicate a tea to handle these strong flavors. I taste all the spices (and adore them) but I can hardly taste the tea itself at all, which is disappointing. It s just buried under the spice.
