A good chai if you like cinnamon. The cinnamon was a little too strong for my taste. I mix this tea with a basic black tea like Irish Breakfast for a more subtle flavor.
The rich complexity of oolong tea lays a smooth foundation for a majestic cup, packed with savory spice notes and hypnotic aroma.

A good chai if you like cinnamon. The cinnamon was a little too strong for my taste. I mix this tea with a basic black tea like Irish Breakfast for a more subtle flavor.
If you like cinnamon, you will love this chai. It is very bright and spicy.
Smooth cinnamon flavor, a tiny bit of spice, and an overall smooth and enjoyable cup of chai. Does not need anything to be added, even for those who are used to adding sweeteners and milks...perfect as is! One of my absolute new favorites.
It's best paired with the Samuri Mate, a 1:1 ratio.
This wasn't my favorite tea but that is because I was looking for something a little sweeter and more ' chai' taste.
I absolutely loved the Maharaja Chai Oolong & Samurai Chai Mate from Teevana. It was suggested by Adagio that I mix this with the Samurai Mate & it's a VERY close match! So happy to have tried this. Thanks for the suggestion Adagio! :)
Never had a spicy oolong tea and I am a fan now. The first taste I got was the cinnamon bark which was great not that unnatural flavor of cinnamon that you get from other tea brands. I steep my tea for a stronger taste because I feel you get all the flavors that way.
Amazing strong and slightly sweet flavor works well on its own as well as with a bit of milk. I find typical black teas to be rather harsh when brewed for the length recommended for chai (~5 minutes) but this oolong does not become harsh (allowing for a rich steeping) and doesn't require milk to enjoy. One of my favorites I've tried so far.
I purchased a bag of the tea bags for those times when I don’t have a tea ball handy for loose leaf tea. This tea did not disappoint. Chai’s are my favorite. I tried it several ways: with honey, raw sugar and even with a liquid flavored creamer. All depends on mood and what I am craving that particular moment. It’s a great tea to sip while reading a book. Enjoy!
the Cinnamon was overpowering not in a good way. too strong for my taste
To me this is cinnamon with some tea thrown in. I have come to relize that i like pure tea without any additions. If you adore cinnamon this could be the tea for you. Subtle this tea is not. It overwhelms the palette. It does have a smooth finish but that is not enough to get anything but a bad review. I wont be buying it again and i wish adagio would sell smaller samplers for times like these.
This tea is so smooth but with amazing rich flavor. I mix it with the Samauri Mate. I literally drink this tea every single day and is my go to drink (other than water).
I originally got this because someone said it tasted like a Teavanna tea I'd loved when Teavanna dissapeared and I was sad about not being able to get that anymore. Now I think I like this even better than that stuff. The Oolong element is a nice base for a chai and this one is flavorful, complex and nice not so much orange or black pepper as some but I like that.
not as spicy as I like my chai but I do enjoy this flavor
Really good spicy oolong! Love it on its own but ordered the samurai mate tea to blend together. Love the fact you can order a $3 size to try! Can’t wait for my next order to get here.
Love this tea..I usually mix with a little Masala. Trying to find the right cinnamon combo. I really like the sample teas to try from Adagio Teas.
This is my favorite flavor tea especially in the colder months. Add some honey and steamed milk...its perfection!
Purchased this for a gift for a friend, he loves it!
I actually mix this with the White Ayurvedic Chai. My husband bought me a mix of chai teas from Teavana a while ago, and I fell in love with them. I looked on the website for what would be comparable mix, and Raja Oolong with White Ayurvedic came up. It tastes even better than what I d gotten from Teavana. This is my morning go-to.
This is the most spice heavy Chai that I've tasted from Adagio's line up. It's very cinnamony and holds up well to milk & sugar.
This is close to the former competition for flavor and expectation. I do like this one super well now and am able to brew more than once!
My very favorite Chai! I've tried all the rest and nothing compares!
This is a delicious tea, and it is one I intend to order frequently.
I seriously LOVE a good spiced oolong. I prefer my oolong tea steeped at a slightly lower temp - 185 as opposed to 212 - because I'm rather sensitive to astringency and bitterness, so I find steeping for a longer time at a lower temp does the trick for me. (: I can get 2 steeps out of this tea! Definitely a favorite.
Great chai, even though I’m not a big fan of chai. Great for a special treat on a cold afternoon.
My first time trying Raja Oolong...very good i will buy again!
I’ve realized now that I don’t love having peppercorns in my tea, so this isn’t my favorite chai. If you like peppercorn I think you’ll like this tea, it’s very nice overall, I just don’t care for h Th e peppery flavor. I do like it better with oat or almond milk as a tea latte.
The spice in this tea is majestic! I never liked Chai until I tried this and I have converted! It is always in my cabinet at home and use when I need a kick. I seep for 5 minutes minimum, maybe a minute longer if I want a harder hint of spice.
There is so much spice in this tea it will leave a ring on cup, its that good!
Very good! I got to fill the void that Teavana left and this is quite delicious!
VERY cinnamony. Good overall, but I found the cinnamon a bit overwhelming. Not my favorite chai because of it. It does taste good mixed with the chocolate truffle tea though!
Blends great with the Masala Chai and the Rooibos Vanilla Chai
This tea tastes like Christmas! One of my favorites. Love it warm!
This tastes very much like Teavana Maharaja Chai. Very cinnamon-y. I love it!
Great flavor , smooth to drink look forward to this drink in the mornings. Especially a cold snowy morning. completely enjoying this blend.
A nice version of a chai. It can be mixed with the Samurai Mate blend for a sweeter taste.
Quickly became my favorite tea after I cut sugar out of my diet. It’s perfectly sweet without needing anything added to it. Brew it longer than reccommended for full flavor
If you love cinnamon then you will love this. I could only taste cinnamon in this and that's okay. Totally a great tea to enjoy.
Great aroma and taste with the cinnamon and other spices.
I love chai, but this is an odd one. It tastes bland but peppery. I didn't get much flavor out of this tea.
Almost too sweet for my taste, almost. This was great. Will be getting more. My wife is stuck on this one. We have gotten several pounds over the last months. A gift that keeps on giving. This is officially my wife's fav of them all from any brand.
Coming to the end of the year and I still like this, my wife is addicted.
A good cup of tea, but a little too much cinnamon for my taste. I enjoy the masala chai better.
Amazing!!! My new favorite morning tea. I used to love the Masala chai, but lately it hasn't been sitting well with my stomach. I tried this Raja Oolong chai and it's been LOVE every since! It's the best of both worlds, chai and oolong! The tea doesn't feel heavy in my stomach. I love the spices. Great choice. :) I just bought the 16oz bag. <3
Great tea for the morning pick up. Just the right amount of spice.
I love this Chai!!! It makes my tongue tingle with Cinnamon deliciousness!
The smell of this is amazing. I haven’t tried much of it but it’s pretty good
This chai has beautiful body and a wonderful taste. Add coconut milk for a thai like treat!
One of my favorite teas by Adagio! I mix it with Samurai Mate and steep for 5-8 min.
Excellent tea. Happy to have it in stock. Would buy again.
You have to make sure you use enough (you really have to heap the teaspoon). Without it, it lacks a whole lot of flavor but if you put enough in it has a mild and soothing chai flavor with a hint of cinnamon.
This is so mellow and good, it's one of my favorites!
