Not terribly impressed with this tea. Reading other people's reviews I thought this might be a slightly more cinnamon flavored chai tea, but it really isn't. It tastes like a black tea with cinnamon. I think I would find this tea more interesting in the colder winter months, but for now feeling a little disappointed this wasn't more of a traditional chai.

The BEST Chai. Very unique flavor. Cinnamon, pepper, and chocolate dominate with a light oolong base. The herbs are more prominent than the tea base which I like. I always have some on hand.
★★★★★
Really nice chai tea. Great spice flavor and a wonderful aroma.

This is a nice cinnamon level for a chai. It brews into a nice dark brown when black. The cinnamon is the first taste, and melds into the ginger and cardamon with a hint of sweetness to accompany the spice. The finish has a bit of a spice to it with the peppercorn and and more cinnamon. The oolong tea is more of a supporting character. Adding milk helps to round out the flavor profile, and the clove and chicory notes can be tasted.

If you love chai tea and can only afford to buy one blend, this is the one to buy. This is the best cup of chai tea that I have ever had. The blend of cinnamon, ginger, cardamon, chicory, cocoa nibs and black peppercorn pairs perfectly with the oolong. All of the flavors came through and I got a little heat from the spices followed by a little sweet. Highly recommend this tea.

Warming, tasty, and a very strong flavor. I appreciated the savory aspects so much. I loved the cinnamon and cardamom flavors quite a bit.

Tastes incredibly artificial. I don't recommend this tea. Prepared as specified on packet.

This tea is awesome, with a wonderful blend of cinnamon, cocoa nibs, and other spices. It has pizazz, and tastes great.
★★★★★
This is my definitive chai tea--spicy, sizzling, tingle-in-your-mouth warmth with a smooth finish. It's just shy of being too potent, meaning you don't get the same burning heat that you might taste in a fiery cinnamon spice or red peppercorn tea. Instead, the flavor is full-bodied and cloudy-auburn, perfect for kickstarting energy any time of the day. Highly recommended!

Here s a wonderful tea that will wake you up and keep you perky! Chai tea always has a bit of spice but this one sings loudly of cinammon with cardamom, clove, ginger, peppercorn and cocoa nibs accents to make for a lovely and vibrant cuppa. Raja that!

My favorite so far. It is Chai on the next level. Lots of layers of flavor. Great on a Chilly day.

I use a mix of the raja, samurai, masala and chiatown chai teas for a slightly peppery, not too sweet flavorful cup of tea

Warm and spicy, I definitely enjoyed it. I'm not usually a fan of oolong, but I guess the chai helped me like it better.
★★★★★
One of my top favorites. I want to keep this on hand!

I was given a free sample of this and I'm so glad I had a chance to try it! I am not a huge fan of chai tea in general, I tend to find the spice a bit overpowering for me. However, this tea had a smooth cinnamon-y flavor that I really loved.

I got this & the Masala Chai because I've been craving a good cup of chai & I was hoping I could just lazily add milk & sugar to this. No dice. This one was better than the Masala Chai but all cinnamon & not enough balance with the other spices for what I like. Now I'm trying to figure out my preferred spice blend & making it on the stove with an assam tea. But I do still think this is ok for lazy chai, just not exactly what I want when I am craving chai.

Has all the essential spice flavorings of a good chai, but always seems a bit sweet. Perhaps best suited for a chai latte to cut the sweetness with some cream/milk.

This tea is nice, but it’s a little too much cinnamon for me

I enjoy a good chai, but this one is a bit too unbalanced for my tastes. The cinnamon overwhelms the other spices, and for the life of me, I can't find the oolong. If you like a lot...A LOT of cinnamon in your tea, go for it.

I normally don't like Chai, but this was very good.
★★★★☆
I like that it’s not as strong of a spice flavor as other chai teas but the cinnamon Is a bit strong for my liking.
★★★★☆
Like cinnamon? This chai is deliciously strong with cinnamon. Like other reviewers, I found it works best as a mix with the Masala Chai. Both bring strengths - this with the cinnamon and the Masala brings a nicer blend of cardamom and clove. Great as a latte.

Knew I’d like it as soon as I opened the sample pouch and took a whiff. Very cinnamony but somehow... fresh? Not spicy, just flavorful. This would probably be great in a latte.

This tea smells and tastes like cinnamon. Delicious in a latte. I definitely bought a few ounces after enjoying the sample. However, though it may be delicious, I don't taste the oolong, so that's what the minus 1 star is for.
★★★★★
Very warming spice blend that is great for winter afternoons. I drink it with a little cream, I find it sweet enough on its own.

I love this tea! I am drinking way too much of it.

I was really surprised at how well the oolong works with the chai spices. This definitely a tea you don't want to over steep as it can get bitter. I got this as a sampler and have since ordered more. It is my new favorite chai from Adagio.

Flavorful Tea - Mixed with Samurai Mate for something that mimics 'Samurai Chai' from years ago.

I was skeptical about this chai, but decided that I would give it a try since I both love chai and love cinnamon. It took me a couple cups to realize that I didn't need to worry about cheating on my favourite chai since this tea, while with lovely chai notes is very much cinnamony, gingery, light nutty notes, warmed by cardamom, the latter of which what gives it the chai vibes. Love this tea on weekend mornings.
★★★★★
My very favorite chai so far. Spice blend isn't too strong, but still has a good kick. I'm a huge fan of cinnamon, and the addition of cinnamon to the regular chai blend really just makes it sing for me. Also those little bits of ginger, I love those
★★★★★
LOVE this tea. Does not need anything added to it because it is so perfect by it's self.
★★★★★
This is the perfect chai tea. Spicy and smooth. Just as good on the second steep.

This tea actually came up as a recommendation for 'oprah chai', one of my favorite teavanna teas. I have to say, it s a great alternative. I started with the sampler pack and just ordered 8 more ounces!

This tea is exactly what I think of when I'm craving chai. It's very cinnamon forward, which is perfect when combined with cream and sugar. The oolong also adds a distinctive note that's different from regular black tea.

We just tried this chai tea for the first time and it has become our favorite! It is especially tasteful in our chai tea lattes but be sure to steep it for a full 7 - 10 minutes to get the best full flavor from it.
★★★★★
More cinnamon-y than the Masala Chai, which has a stronger clove flavor. Two excellent choices.

I love the mix of spicy and sweet - just the right balance.

A delicious chai, while the cinnamon might be a little overwhelming for some, I still found this to be a delicious tea and one I would drink often.

Warming strong spicy flavor is great for cold winter mornings! I have a habit of over steeping ALL tea and this one gets a bit strong if I leave it in over 6min.

LOVE this tea blended 50/50 mix with Samaria Mate. Gives me a warm cuddly feeling in this freakishly cold weather.
★★★☆☆
While it wasn't bad, it wasn't the spicy oolong chai I was looking for. I wouldn't discourage someone from trying it, though, because I had a specific taste I was looking for.

This has a nice spice to it. A nice addition to my chai options.
