The spearmint flavor adds a nice, unexpected surprise to the flavors of the green chai. It is very soothing hot/warm and is refreshing iced. I can see myself reaching for this when I need some comfort in a cup!

This tea has an interesting and unique combination of flavors. I wouldn’t think Hojicha and spearmint would go well together but they do quite nicely. And I never heard of fennel in a chai blend before but here it is subtly blending in with the other spices and giving this tea an interesting background note. I think this is an enjoyable chai and I was glad to have it on this cold end of summer day.

I love mint and I love chai, but not together with hojicha as a base. I steeped using 195 F water x 3 min and added a splash of simple syrup which helped. Still not a favorite and not on my wishlist.

I enjoy mint teas. This one has an interesting warm spice twist. It’s enjoyable to the last sip.

I love the sweet/earthy/hay like aroma and taste of hojicha. Add in chai spices and this is a warming, comforting spicy cuppa tea. The mint is relaxing and the spices blend nicely with all the other flavors in this cuppa. Nice blend!

This is now one of my top 3 favorites. I never thought I’d describe a mint tea as scrumptious, but it is certainly that. The mint and chai are the perfect blend, and it’s aesthetically just breath taking. Can’t wait to order a big bag.

Minty aroma as the CommuniTEA packet opens and the ingredients slip into the infuser. This steeps into a golden tea that has a delicious minty flavor too. With the chai spices, this tea is a delight to sip, especially after adding ¼ teaspoon of sweetener. (3 mins @ 195º F + sweetener).

Made this, took two sips and let out a long satisfied sigh. Mint tea for me is more something I use for a headache than something I drink for taste. But this one is just so tasty I want to have more.

I like the concept of this, but in practice I tasted very little of the hojicha, which was mostly what I was excited about. The spearmint, cinnamon, and ginger dominated the cup. Still an enjoyable tea, but tastes like an herbal instead of a green tea.

I had been using a chai teabag and a mint teabag together and enjoyed the flavor. This loose mint chai tea is so much better. Great flavor!

★★★★★

I love this tea! The hojicha, chai spice, and mint work unexpectedly well together. I also appreciate that this has a low caffeine level. It's perfect for when I want a little pick-me-up without jitters. If you love any one of these ingredients, you should give this a try!

Mint and chai. Really interesting combonation. I enjoyed it immensely and this is on my top 3 teas list

★★★★☆

A very enjoyable mint/chai blend but not quite what I was expecting. I favor both mint and chai teas, but perhaps combining then was not for me. I prefer to keep these two flavor profiles separate. It's strictly personal taste, but I think the chai distracted from the enjoyment of the mint and the mint distracted from the enjoyment of the chai.

Because I’m not a black tea drinker this is the most flavorful chai I have ever tasted. Love it! How nice to add the mint!

★★★★☆

The spearmint and hojicha green tea blend very well together! The spearmint dominates the flavors of the blend, so I didn't taste as much of the spices. But overall it is a nice chai!

What a unique and tasty chai. I really enjoy mint teas in the afternoon served hot. I would not have thought to combine a chai tea with mint.

It was exactly what I thought it would taste. I will have order a bigger bag once I finish my sampler pack

Refreshing mixture of flavors, great for any time of the day. The chai combo is just right. I will keep this one stocked.

★★★☆☆

This tea was 'okay'. The spices to classify it as a chai were lost a bit in the mint flavor. It will not be amongst my favorites and I won't order it again.

I actually got this because I'd never heard of hojicha tea. The verdict is in. The whole house likes it and we need more.

★★★★★

Delicious minty green chai which seems strange, but works well. This steeps up to a complex, soothing, spicy, clean cup. I’m happy to see the spices shine without the addition of natural flavors. The Hojicha was a nice choice and the spearmint made this sweet and cool. Cheers!

This is a very refreshing tea, but it still has some of the spiciness and bold flavor a chai-based tea.

This is a unique blend of hojicha, chai, and spearmint, I never thought to mix chai with spearmint. Spearmint, black peppercorns, and cinnamon are dominant flavors. It tastes better iced and plain (no sweetener or milk).

I would not have expected mint and chai to go together, but this tea did not disappoint. The hojicha is also an excellent add, giving it a bit of earthy flavor to ground the tea.

I had a strong reaction to this one, the mint is ok but overall not powerful enough to blend well with the other ingredients and make a winning combo. It ends up tasting like kitchen spice rack, with a big side of black pepper. Ever so slightly better when cooled off some. It's just not my cuppa.
