★★★★☆

Very good chai. I brew it double strength and add surgar and cream and it is far better than any "chai latte" I have had at any of the coffee shops.

Adagio makes a great simple masala chai. Try it boiled in milk or milk substitute with some cardamom pods, cinnamon, and ginger for an even better tea experience!

★★★★☆

It's a very good masala tea. Nicely spicy, but still keeps the black tea flavor present. If I liked black tea more, it'd probably be a keeper.

★★★☆☆

I was not too impressed with this blend. I think I could probably make my own better. I will probably not buy this one again.

★★★★★

I love all of Adagio's chai flavors! I bought this one to give a chai-loving friend as a gift!

★★★★★

This is one of the best commercial chai teas available. It is spicy without being overwhelming. Really flavorful and full bodied. Yum!

★★★★★

A very nice Chai, seems nicely balanced to me rich with spices. The actual tea play second fiddle to the spices but that is OK. Color is golden rather that dark as with some Chai teas that I have had. This one is keeper.

Perfect. I like to brew with 2 rounded teaspoons per 6-8oz water. Trying brewing with milk and water.

I had really high hopes for this tea, and although I enjoyed it, it didn't quite meet my expectations. A bit too bitter maybe?

★★★★★

This is a great chai. It doesn't have extra flavors, but it's still very good.

★★★☆☆

This was a little too clove-y for my taste. I liked it better blended half with black tea.

★★★★★

This was an above average chai, but I much prefer Adagio's Thai Chai. The coconut and lemongrass in the Thai Chai really make a difference.

★★★★★

Yum. I find that I don't need to use this full-strength. I blend it half and half with a plain tea and the canister last longer.

★★★★★

Excellent chai! I have a recipe for homemade chai (hence the ordering of both Asaam and Ceylon teas), but this is just so much easier and just as tasty as my friend Barbara's recipe. I may need to tweak it a bit (I already add at least one peppercorn to each brew) --- but this is excellent. Much better than the Teavana, Peet's, or Tazo! I'm looking forward to using this in a recipe that I found for chai latte ice cream on the Baking and Books blog! Can't wait to try it.

★★★★★

Delicious -- not weak like so many commercial blends, this chai is strongly spiced without being overpowering. Great with or without milk!

★★★★★

I'm not a chai type of person but I am now. I absolutely loved this!! A definite buy!!

★★★★★

I am of the opinion that a good chai needs to have a lot of spice. This is a good chia. It has a good balance between the cinnamon and clove notes, and yet you can still taste the flavor of the tea. Very nicely done.

To be fair, I'm probably not the best judge of a chai, as I don't think I'm doing a very good job of brewing them properly. I've heard that mixing it up with some milk is amazing - I've found getting the right temperature and flavour balance to be difficult. But I really WANT to like it - does that count?

★★★★★

This tea is delicious. I steep it with half as much water as you would normally use for a cup of tea, and replace the other 1/2 with hot soy milk. I then add a little agave nectar for a delicious vegan soy chai latte!

★★★★★

The perfect amount of spice. A wonderful tea, especially with a bit of sugar.

★★★★★

So good and so spicy. This one is great by itself or with milk. I have tried a lot of chais that were less than stellar and the pieces of cardamon and ginger in this one make it phenomenal.

★★★★★

i really like this chai even though it needs peppercorns to add that bit of zing. i add my own.

★★★★☆

Like the spicy flavor. Not all the time, but nice for an occasional change from normal black tea.

★★★★★

This is a delicious chai tea for any chai entrepeneur. It has the perfect amount of cloves and ginger and is delicious on a fall afternoon

★★★★★

Absolutely one of my favorites!! This is one that I will reorder again and again.

★★★★★

Very nice well rounded chai. It was strong, but not too much. I'd definitely say that this is a great general chai. Don't expect it to be something you've never had before, you've probably had something similar - but this is a great tasting chai that I'd recommend to anyone.

★★★★★

Wonderful, flavorful standard chai! Perfect for the fall.

★★★★★

Very nice spice level. I had to steep it longer than the suggested five minutes to get the full flavor, though.

★★★★★

Perfect spice tastes great with a little sugar and a touch of warm milk. Reminds me of the tea my mom always made.

If you love chai tea then this is definitely for you I think it would be great with a litle bit of vanilla.

★★★★★

I can't decide if this tea tastes or smells better! I love the way my office smells so good all day after I've made a cup. This is going on my favorites list!

★★★★☆

The flavor profile of this chai is about what I expect when I think 'chai'--the spices are balanced nicely with the tea flavor. I like this one as a morning tea.

★★★★★

One of the best and most interestingly complex chai blends I've had. Don't go to this one expecting the sweet stuff from that ubiquitous coffee chain. This is complex, savory, spicey and wonderful with or without milk.

★★★★★

My favorite thing in fall and winter. I even got a co-worker addicted to it, because it's just so lovely and conforting. This is our seasonal comfort drink at my house, having pushed aside the less healthy hot cocoa.

★★★★★

This chai is amazing. I love it with milk or cream and sugar. It has a very full flavor but no one spice overwhelms the flavor, as can sometimes happen with chai teas.

★★★★★

I only got a chance to smell the tin this came in, and I had to get it. It doesn't disappoint. Not a generic chai, but nothing too crazy, either.

★★★★★

This is very delicious! It tasts like chai and cider - perfect on a cool fall morning!

★★★★★

Wonderful aroma and nice body. Spices are not overpowering. Very well balanced chai.

★★★★☆

Excellent for hot or cold tea - good combination of flavors, and the scent is wonderful.

★★★☆☆

Not the best Chai i've had. I'd go with the other one they offer.

★★★★☆

A DELICIOUS chai, but much like the other chais, weak. If you don't like a strong chai you will like this but if you are used to a more traditional, strong and spicy chai, you'll find it lacking. This can be fixed by doubling the amount of tea used per water but then it makes the chai very expensive. Of course, hubby and I drink 2 to 4 liters of tea a day and have to have it shipped to us in Africa, so cost is a factor for us

★★★★☆

I find this blend very tasty. Most masala chai that I've drunk are made with assam - which has a strange nutty aftertaste that doesn't match teas I've drunk in India. This is a much smoother blend. I wish they would add pepper (or use Yunan Jig for the black) but if you prefer a milder masala chai - this is an excelent choice.

★★★★★

This is my all time favorite and was the tea that gor me switched over from Tazo Chai... So robust and flavorful - hard to go wrong with this and a GREAT way to start the morning!

★★★★★

Really delicious. It's my favorite chai on the site.

★★★☆☆

i'm not a huge chai fan and though maybe brewing it with loose tea would make a difference. turns out, it doesn't.

★★★★☆

This is way better than the oriental spice tea, the old chai-like blend.

★★★☆☆

Masala Chai was not my favorite. It has the basic chai taste but I guess I prefer a milky chai. Good if you want the flavor without the calories I suppose.

★★★★★

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoy this tea. I especially love the way the cardamon complements the tea. I usually drink it with some sugar and milk.

★★★★★

I really like this with a little sugar and a LOT of milk. Great chai tea.

★★★★☆

Mostly cloves in the can. Bright flavored potpourri/tea.
