This tea wasn't quite as spicy as I was expecting, but it was still very good. It is definitely one of the best chai teas that I have ever had though.

★★★★★

This is a very nice chai blend. Just the right balance of spices, with none of them overpowering the others. Perfect for after lunch or dinner.

★★★★★

One of my favorites! I was always pretty indifferent to Chai, but tried Adagio's Chai and loved it. Strong, smooth, and perfectly spicy (not overpowering). Wonderfully aromatic!

★★★★★

Better than any chai I've ever had at a coffee shop, and perfect for my cold fall mornings!

★★★★☆

A real treat! I made mine a masala chai latte--much better than way than without milk. Almond milk is a great substitute, and compliments the clove taste perfectly that can be a bit overpowering on its own.

★★★★★

This tea is like heaven in my mouth! Perfection.

So very yummy. One of the best chai teas that I have had!

★★★★★

It's everything you'd expect a chai to be. Would get again.

★★★★★

Are you a fan of chai tea lattes from Peets and Starbucks? Well get ready to change it up because Masala Chai blows those lattes out of the water.

There are very few teas that I don't drink straight, but this mix is just too powerful for me to handle without some milk and sugar. Once a teaspoon of condensed milk was added to the potent liquor I was in heaven. It is a perfect blend of smooth cream and heavy spices. It's definitely replacing my usual hot cocoa.

★★★★☆

This is currently my favorite chai tea. For me this tea requires milk and sugar or it tastes too bitter. I would like to see a slightly stronger black tea flavor in this tea (in fact I usually add a bit of irish breakfast when I brew a pot).

★★★★★

A pleasant, spicy Chai. A classic staple for any tea lover, and Adagio, as always, does it best. Absolutely perfect with a generous amount of milk.

★★★☆☆

I like the peppery flavor, but the sweet spices could stand to be punched up a bit more.

★★★★☆

Love this tea when I'm wanting a bit of spice - great brewed with water and extra special brewed with milk and a bit of honey. Okay for multiple infusions, but can get bitter if brewed too long.

★★★★★

Spicy and delicious. A lot of different flavors. Great with a splash of almond milk.

★★★★★

This is definitely the best chai I've had. bold flavors of cardamom, cinnamon and ginger. Excellent with honey and milk.

★★★★★

One of the best flavored teas I ave ever had. Great with honey and milk.

★★★★★

Excellent Masala Chai! Other tea companies end up with a harsh/bitter chai, but not this one at all. Very well balanced, nice spices, but the Black tea base isn't overwhelmed. One of my favorites.

★★★★☆

A quality tea that has the everyday drinkability that I look for.

★★★★★

Spicy and warm, but not overpowering. I used slightly less than the directions state (they say 'two heaping teaspoons per cup' and I used two teaspoons for a 12 oz mug). Fantastic. Perfect for a cold November morning.

Great when prepared properly. I foolishly followed a reviewer's advice to mix 3/4 milk with 1/4th of the result (similar to what one would do with a concentrate) and the result was..warm milk. At 1:1 it's not too bad (if still slightly weak), but I think the best way to take full advantage of it is to steep it directly in milk and then add honey or another sweetener. It easily smashes any other chai I've drank, smells amazing, and has an excellent flavor, so don't hesitate to pick some up, but keep in mind the best experience will probably be with a specific preparation that may be a little more work.

Spicy and delicious. I love that tea! Use it to wake up in the morning!

★★★★★

Fantastic aroma - spicier than other chai teas I've had.

★★★★★

great bold flavor! I made it iced and it did not disappoint.

★★★★★

I am a huge fan of chai. This was a definite favorite of mine.

★★★★★

Not only does this tea smell fantastic, but it tastes just as good! Great for those that like a 'spicy' chai. I like making this tea a bit stronger, steaming milk and adding them together at a 1:1 ratio for an awesome chai tea latte! Better than you can buy at a cafe and you know it's the real deal!

★★★★★

Delicious. Good balance of spices and tea. I might have stuck a tiny bit of extra cardamom in mine, but that's just my particular preference.

★★★★★

This chai is perfect with a little bit of milk and sugar. It has a great amount of spice to it

★★★★☆

I really like chai teas, but this one is pretty bold! Not for the faint of heart.

★★★★★

This tea is delightful. I really enjoy spiced teas on chilly mornings, and this tea hits the spot! I'm looking forward to trying it mixed with some vanilla rooibos.

★★★★★

A nice spicy but not over powering blend blend perfect for the fall season.

★★★★★

A deep, rich, spicy Chai that you typically expect in a good chai. Far deeper and richer than plain grocery varieties and sure to please the most demanding chai drinker. I prefer mine without milk...

★★★★★

This tea is as nice to smell as it is to drink. Full of flavor!

★★★★☆

Spicy Flavor. Experiment. I find it overwhelming when steeped too long. Perfect for me when steeped 3 minutes for 8oz of water

★★★★★

Great chai! This one really gets the balance of spices and tea right, unlike a lot of other brands I've tried. However, I think it needs to brew at least double the recommended time, or else it's weak.

★★★★★

This is by far the best chai I have ever tasted. It has the perfect mixture of spices and makes a great pick-me-up in the mornings.

★★★★★

An excellent chai that saves me the time of brewing my own. The smell is incredible, as is the taste.

★★★★☆

This Chai is perfect on a crisp fall morning. The smell is intoxicating - cinnamon is dominant when the aroma hits the nose. IMO, the tea should be steeped in very hot water (not sure of exact temperature), in order to bring out the flavors. The cardamon in this Chai, along with the cinnamon and cloves, creates a spicy delight, but not overwhelming to one flavor or another. The ginger is rather subdued. I've had Chai with milk before, and would recommend 1- or 2-percent milk with this tea, not skim.

★★★★★

I've had many chai's but this one has to be one of the best i've had. Im a big fan of cinnamon and clove, it was like drinking pumpkin pie almost.

★★★★☆

The masala chai was really good! A notch above most chais out there!

★★★★★

This is hands down the best chai tea I have had. Just the right amount of spice. I like it with a bit of rock sugar and a splash of organic milk. Makes the whole house smell wonderful while brewing.

It's a wonderfully spicy blend of tea. It takes to sugar

★★★★★

I have never met a chai I didn't like, but if I had to choose a favorite, it'd be a close tie between masala and rooibos vanilla. Masala is fabulous. the spice is practically perfect, not too overpowering. Like other reviewers I make it with milk (usually vanilla soy milk) and a touch of honey. So fantastic, so rich, so GOOD!

★★★★★

A nice tea to drink now that the days are getting shorter and cooler. I added whole milk to mine along with some brown sugar. The spices were there but not overwhelming.

There are two reasons I love Adagio's Masala Chai. One, it is excellent on its own and represents maybe the most 'traditional' chai taste, with a well balanced and delicious blend of spices. Two, because it embodies the classic chai taste so well, it's perfect for blending -- mango chai, earl grey chai, apricot chai, dragonwell chai -- you name it! The possibilities are endless. It's excellent!

★★★★★

I've tried almost every store brand chai there is and have not been satisfied. I was so excited when adagio added this, and I was not disappointed. Better than anything I've gotten at a cafe.

I made my first cup today and I really enjoyed it. I used boiling milk instead of water and used a lot of honey like others have suggested. I'd like to try adding more ginger or something, I love strong teas so... That's just my two cents.

★★★★★

I love the flavor of masala chai tea. It has a strong solid flavor.

★★★★★

If you enjoy chai you can't go wrong with this tea. It has excellent flavor and the most amazing smell.

★★★★★

Be careful of the cloves! When I get the 4oz bag the majority of the cloves tend to settle on the top which can make the first batches overwhelming so I pick the extra ones out and save them in a tin. I find that four cloves is plenty for a cup.

I'm a long-time chai drinker and I can make a wonderful chai with this mix. I use 1/4 water and 3/4 milk. Boil the water, add tsp Masala Chai and plenty of sweetener (makes the flavors come out best), stir, then add milk and reheat until almost boiling. If I want it extra strong I add a half tsp of Brooke Bond tea powder. Then steep for at least five minutes.
