I'm not an enormous fan of masala chai brewed as a tea, but there are two things I noticed about this tea.
1. The tea is exceptionally fragrant. The spices are fresh and full of aromatic oil to give great flavor. If I had to make a change, I would take out just a pinch of the clove because a little clove goes a LONG way.
2. This tea brewed in addition to a very basic coffee makes one of the best things I've ever had. This is the reason why I'm giving it five stars instead of four. I made a modified tiramisu and used the chai-coffee mix to soak my ladyfingers with. It was DIVINE. So, I tried it with just a regular cup of coffee and I loved it.
If you're like me and tend to not like chai teas made with water as a base, try different liquids/mixes. Milk, coffee, I've even heard of some people brewing it and using it in puddings. If you enjoy being in the kitchen and experimenting with different flavors and uses for ingredients I definitely recommend picking this up. My next mission is to figure out how to make a delicious chai-tea cake! Wish me luck!
I've purchased this one multiple times, I love it! Perfectly spicy, with a bit of cream and sugar it's just as good as from a coffee shop!
Spiced scent and taste with a complex flavor. I can taste the difference of each of the varied spices. Light on the tongue and still flavorful. Delicious with milk.

I just came back from India and this isn't quite like the Masala tea I had there. Too much clove. But this is still pretty tasty.
Strong smell from the spices, but comparatively mild spiced flavor. Spices still present however. Brewed at 212 for 5 minutes with half and half and splenda.
a really good, spicy chai. as soon as you open the bag you can smell the spice! steep it strong and add lots of milk and sugar!

My favorite chai tea from Adagio; tastes great with or without milk. The cloves and cardamom have a stronger presence over the cinnamon in this blend.
My favorite chai I've ever tried. I will always add this to every order. I like my tea strong so I use a tablespoon per 16oz. Add sugar and oat milk.

I am a lover of chai- but there was so much clove in this blend it made my mouth numb. It is obviously high quality, I just couldn’t take the clove quantity.

UPDATE: Bought the larger size pouch, and I strongly dislike how many cloves are in it.

I love cloves and this tea has a wonderful spiced combination of cloves, cinnamon and ginger. I added honey to sweeten it a little and it was perfect!
This is a nice tea for a quiet evening at home. Chai tea isn't my favorite, but this one was enjoyable and I would buy more.

I can only taste cloves. Even the black tea isn't strong enough. More cloves in a teaspoon of this blend than my mother uses to make a whole pot of chai lol

Fairly standard chai tea. I love the taste, but not the longer steep time. It also tends to leave alot of sediment on my pot/cup. It tastes good though, giving that hefty dose of warming spices with every sip- perfect for cold winter nights.
Masala Chai is my favorite tea from Adagio. The spices are very well balanced, and not at all overwhelming. I add sugar and almond milk and find that it is delicious hot or iced. The one tea I can never be without!

This is an okay chai, but there is way too much clove and nowhere near enough cardamom. The clove dominates the palate (you can even see it in the picture itself!). The taste was not very well-balanced.
A really great, well balanced, spicy chai. I like brewing it strong and making lattes.
I drink lots of chai and love this one best. I asked a restaurant what chai they used and it was this one. So now I buy it direct from Adagio.
LOVE this chai blend. I'm sensitive to caffeine, so I can only drink 1 cup a day, but then switch to the decaf chair blend. This is my absolute favorite chai, perfect with a touch of honey and almond milk.

Oooh, this is GOOD. I'm really fond of chai, and this is a great one. While I typically go for loose leaf tea, I bought the bags in this blend, and I'm perfectly happy with them.

This tea was just ok. I tried it with milk, almond milk, steamed heavy cream, but just could not get the flavor. Now my daughter loves it, so I'm giving it to her. I does smell amazing...just not for me.

Literally the perfect cup of tea! It's good by itself of blendes with other teas for a little excitement. Perfect with a little cream and some rock sugar from Adagio! :)
Without sugar and milk I was not impressed. I found the clove to be overpowering the other spices. Adding sugar and milk brought everything into a better balance.
It is a great chai tea. It's a little on the dark side so I would say its more of a winter/cold weather chai but definitely a staple here
A wonderful chai blend, I mix it with Raja Oolong Chai and Samurai Mate.
Heaven in a glass. Definitely needs cream but that's what chais are meant for.
