This is the base for most of my favorite teas so of course it's amazing! This can be used by itself or blended with many other flavors depending on your mood.
I have finally found the perfect chai for my wife who doesn't like much tea, and me. 2 teaspoons per cup (or rebrew), brew for 7 minutes, add about 1/4c of warm milk, and 2t of sugar. On the sweet side for me, but still wakes me up
A wonderful tea on it's own, or great mixed with others! Love it with just a splash of cream.
A very nice traditional chai. Good and spicy without being overwhelming. If you want more spice, steep longer and hotter. A great tea for starting the morning.
This is a very good basic chai. It wasn't the most flavorful chai blend I've ever had, but it's delicious with a little milk and sugar and is delightfully fragrant. It may not last you quite as long as other teas however since it's recommended that you steep two teaspoons per cup as opposed to the typical one teaspoon.
My family loves chai tea and this one is a wonderful version. Great cold with milk.
ok so I thought this was just good until i tried teavana's and this one is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better. All time favorite chai and I've tried a few different brands and kinds gonna get the 16 oz when I have more points as a gift to myself. I highly recommend
This is that chai I have been wanting for a spicy, milky treat. It is strong in flavor and stands up well to a lot of cream or milk.
Basic high-quality chai. If you like chai, you'll like this. If you don't, you probably won't. I enjoy mine with lots of sugar and frothed milk. I don't have a steamer, but I found out how to do it on the stovetop, and it's very easy, if somewhat time-consuming, and it makes my chai just a little extra-special! Google it - it's worth it for those who don't have/want a steamer, and it's great for making a Starbucks-style chai latte.
This is a great chai. The cinnamon is quite strong, but the ginger and cloves back it up really well. Great plain or not.
Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed in this one... I thought it would have more spice, more 'zing' as it were. I found it to be quite tasty, just not what I was expecting.
Update: This tea is absolutely divine. I made it with soy milk instead of water and steeped it for seven minutes, it was spiced perfection!
I often combine this tea with other spiced teas like Oriental Spice, Christmas, and decaf spice to create my own blend which I like to drink over ice, sweetened with honey, and mixed with soy milk.
My boyfriend likes it a lot! He likes to mix the tea with milk.
I really shouldn't be reviewing this, as chai tea isn't really up my alley, but I didn't think it lived up to being the highest rated chai. I hope this isn't as good as it gets, or I may never buy chai again.
After having a horrible experience with a different brand's chai tea, I was kind of wary when purchasing this one. But, I'm glad I did! It didn't smell or taste repulsive at all like the other. It has the perfect amount of spice!
This is the king chai of them all! We've starting drinking this daily. Gently simmer in milk (non-animal milk here) for about a minute, then pour into a French press with honey for 4-6 minutes. Amazing!
I really like this chai! It's better when brewed strong so you can taste the cinnamon and spicy flavors more. If you don't give a little extra tea, it ends up a bit weak. It goes very well with honey and almond milk. I'd definitely buy it again.
The tea smells delicious upon opening the bag, and is quite delicious with sugar and milk. I must confess, however, that having had many a cup of Indian-made chai, I felt this tea was lacking cardamom drastically. I am sure that is just a personal preference of mine, and I can add dried cardamom pods from my cupboard to adjust the flavor accordingly. Otherwise, the tea was quite pleasing.
Love the blend of spices without it being too hot (ginger makes it hot?). Very aromatic and smooth. Perfect late night beverage.
Update: This continues to be my go-to blend for Chai. Honestly, I haven't found a blend that is as flavorful. the smell truly reflects the flavor. I have tried at least 10 different varieties from big tea companies. This was is the best. Follow the instructions to prevent bitterness in flavor. I like it with honey and 2 milk.
This is a good blend. Wish it was slightly more spicy, but overall it is better than what I've had at coffee shops (including Starbucks) and tea places. I mix in milk and honey and may blend in vanilla as one of the reviewers suggested.
This tea smells really strongly of cloves, but once it's steeped the flavor is much more balanced. A very good chai.
I'm fairly certain I've reviewed this before (shifty eyes), but I'll review it again! It's got a very strong flavor so if you're not fond of cloves, cinnamon, ginger, etc. you should probably not get this tea. It's warm and comforting and perfect with a little sugar and some milk. It's my go-to rainy day tea :)
It wasn't my style. To me, it wasn't spicy enough. If I'm drinking Chai, I want it STRONG.
Good for rainy days. Warms me up. Just a splash of milk and it's perfect.
I don't know what I like more, Adagio's Masala Chai or their Thai Chai. Both are wonderful. You can even mix them together. This chai is more like a traditional chai with spice while the Thai chai has tropical, fruity notes to it.
Very strong chai flavour. Pairs very well with other blac teas for an earthy version. Great with cream.
I really liked this chai, but I preferred to brew it stronger and longer than listed.
Pretty good chai tea. Very well balanced. The one drawback for me was that when I got my pouch it seemed like half a bag. About 3/4 of a cup. So that was a disappointment. But it is a really good blend and I will still continue to buy it. Leaves a nice spicy aftertaste too. Not too heavy either.
This is some really good masala chai, it's not my favorite that I've had (though to be fair with chai I do set my bar pretty high). It has all the flavors you want a masala chai to have, but for me it could be slightly spicier which is a lot to ask (because again I set my chai bar pretty high). I've tried steeping the tea in different ways to test which is best and so far my best trial was when I took a half portion of milk and a half portion of water brought that to a boil and steeped the chai at a constant boil/simmer(making sure not to burn the milk) for 10 minutes stirring the pot every once in a while, and that brought out a lot of the spices and flavors I usually look for in chai. This chai is totally worth the try.

A lighter chai than most. Not my favorite. I think I'll mix this with another spicier chai to finish up the bag.

I generally love chai teas, and this one is decent but not quite what I was looking for. It is very heavy on the spice, especially cloves, and I look more for a balance in the flavors of my masala chai. Really wish this had some vanilla flavor in it as well, would help to round out the spiciness of it.
This is a delicious classic chai with just the right blend of black tea and spices. It's perfect with steamed milk, sweetened to taste and finished with a splash of vanilla - a chai dream. great hot or iced!
By far my favorite tea. Perfect ratio of spices. Very nice, solid flavor. Not overpowering, but definitely not weak. Great with or without milk, and a bit of brown sugar. Basically if you're a fan of masala you'll love this tea.
Decently spicy, compared to others. I brew it directly in milk with honey. I do recommend brewing it in water and adding sweetened condensed milk for a different, but delicious experience.
Crack a window open, toss on a blanket and enjoy with milk. Nuff said.

I wish I bought this tea in the winter! The initial clove smell was very intense, but I didn't feel the cloves overpowered the other flavors. This is a deliciously spicy tea, no bitter after taste. Probably one of the best chai teas I've had in a long time. I thought it was easy to identify the cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger spices while drinking this tea, as it had a slightly sweet taste.
Very strong in clove and ginger. I've been looking for a balanced spiced masala tea that's stronger in tea flavor like I had in Nepal but the ones I found stateside, including masala chai, are dominated by the spices.
I love chai, and this one is my favorite thusfar. I love spicy teas with robust flavor and this is it! I am still learning how to brew it properly but I will definitely be purchasing this tea again!!

I originally was making this wrong... brewing it with milk or brewing it strong and thinning it with milk is the way to have this tea!
The smell of this tea when opening the bag is amazing. It tastes zesty, but not spicy and very refreshing. A nice afternoon tea when served with a bit honey and soy milk.
If you like the chai at S-bucks, then you will love this. Just add some sugar and a lot of cream and you've got fresh chai better than the one in the green labeled cup imo.

This tea is spicy and delicious! It's great sweetened with almond milk.
