Initially, I received a sample of this tea... I tried it and loved it! However, upon ordering and trying the 16oz bag I received it only tastes about 25% like the delicious sample :(
The initial sample is what prompted me to order for the first time from this company. Also, they were very helpful in replacing a broken item I purchased from a different company. Sadly, I doubt I will re-order this one again since the flavor is dramatically different. Perhaps I received a bad lot.
This is the perfect blend of spices, especially during the holiday season!!
This is the best Masala Chai since Teavana discontinued theirs. I haven’t been able to find a replacement with a spicy, deep flavor and pure aroma since then but this is it and if I recall correctly this one is superior to Teavana’s formulation. Of course, it’s also a much better value. I don’t like my usual chai too sweet or too peppery and most these days are one or the other (if not both). Excellent chai.
My husband likes this tea. I don't, it's a little too spicy for me.

I love this chai, it's everything you want. Spicy and perfect for winter. It's wonderful on it's own, but add a little milk and your sweetener of choice for a treat.
I bought Masala Chai, Irish Breakfast, and Rooibos Nutcracker in large 16 oz packs, because i think smaller sample packages loose their taste and aromatic qualities. I was disappointing with all three teas.
Masala Chai is basically a bag filled with Cloves, and except cloves you taste almost nothing else. Real letdown.

Used as part of an experiment to recreate Teavana Chai/Chai Blend. 1:1:1 Samurai Mate//Masala Chai//Raja Oolong Chai creates a very close recreation with its own unique nuiances. Experiment success.
Strong and spicy, just the way I like it! This tea smells divine and can be double-steeped without a discernible loss of flavor. I like it served with just a little bit of raw sugar.
An excellent all-around chai; the different spices are balanced well and don't fight the black tea base. Wonderful on cold days, to make you feel warm all over.
It s got a really strong spice flavor that was a bit overbearing, so be careful how long you let it steep.

This chai is good, but not my favorite. Add vanilla soy milk for a nice sweet touch. Still think the Thai Chi is better.
Really quite tasty! Consistent cups, forgiving if you over or under steep. Much better than their Thai chai, IMO.
Tastes good on its on, or add a tea spoon of it to your favorite black tea.

Found it to be delicious when steeped right, but can taste like potpourri if steeped for too long. I use about a teaspoon and a half per cup and steep for 7 mins.
This is a great tea for the Christmas season, the spices have great holiday scent.
A decent chai. I want more variety of spices. This has a flatter flavor than the masala chai I made with masala spice mix from my indian supermarket, but it's still good.

This tea doesn't rank as a favorite for me. But it is a very good tea. 203F is boiling at my altitude. I didn't play around much with brew times. I just followed the bags instructions.
This is going on my wishlist for a big ol bag. It s nice and spicy, but in a cinnamon way, not in a kill you with peppercorn way like a certain coffee establishment one could mention. Lovely with cream and sugar. I add three minutes if I use the leaves a second time, but I think it s a little bitter (but I m sensitive to bitter- spoonful of sugar is a valid life hack which solves many problems).

This is a good staple chai, but I find it to be bitter sometimes even with short steeps. I usually blend this one with Rooibos Vanilla Chai or Honeybush Vanilla to round out the flavor and make it less bitter
My favorite Chai, robust and nuanced. Add a bit of rock sugar or honey and a splash of cream.
I didn't care for this tea. The spices, maybe cloves, were very overpowering. It just wasn't what I was looking for.
It has been a couple of years since I've order from adagio and I have to say the tea is still top quality. The Masala Chai is jam packed with spices which sooth your winter blues.

This tea has been a favorite of mine for a long time, and not just in the fall. It is robust, with a strong taste of cloves, which I love. It is even more delicious when paired with Hot Cinnamon Spice. Yum!

I fell in love with this when I got a sample a few shipments back. Best of all, I got my little brother to like it too! And he is NOT a tea fan. It goes excellent with some sugar and 2% milk. Highly recommended.

This chai had just the right balance of spice to tea flavor for me. That being said, it has a bit of a kick to it.
