A good and mild chai. Not something I would keep on hand but a very nice cup for the experience. I drank mine without almond milk for a switch.
'Masala' means 'blend of spices' and 'chai' is simply 'tea.' Inviting fragrance, invigorating flavor, warm finish.

A good and mild chai. Not something I would keep on hand but a very nice cup for the experience. I drank mine without almond milk for a switch.
Todays tea was a perfect winter day chai. Adagio didn’t disappoint with all the flavors showing up in my tea, with a little less spice, making for a yummy and scrumptious chai latte! As it steeped, the pleasant aroma left lingering made me feel so warm & cozy. It’s black tea blend played nicely with so many flavors but wait the only note missing, that chai peppery kick. If you want to try a lighter spiced chai, this tea is the one. Don’t forget to add a dab of cream & a touch of honey then sit back with a good book and enjoy each sip. (12 mins @ 212°F)
I like chai, you cant go wrong with stevia and milk
Everybody was present in my communiTEA packet this morning. They weighed in at just at 2.2 grams (a little over 1 tsp) and getting ready to enter the ring for some action. As a side note, I use this one as a base tea for my Mai Chai blend to which I add anise, lemongrass and red peppercorns to make it an even more authentic spicier Indian chai. I add some sugar and milk to meld all these flavors together.
From start to finish, this chai was pleasantly mild with each ingredient providing an equal amount of flavor. The milk smoothed the spiciness and the sugar provided some sweetness that made your mouth smile. When all was said and drank, this was a fine example of Indian Masala chai. 🙏 (7 mins @ 212ºF, 1 tsp sugar, 2 Tbls 1% warmed milk)
I do love a good chai and this one is a winner. Just the right amount of spices. Would be curious to try this side by side with the raja oolong chai to see how they compare.
It’s a good and spicy chai but would have preferred a bit more spice or perhaps more tea in the Communitea sample packet. I tried it plain first and then upon further review of Adagio’s description, I added cream and sugar. The cream and sugar tied all the flavors together to create a creamy, slightly sweetened chai.
Favorite. Amazing taste. Love to mix with raja oolong chai. ❤️❤️❤️
One of my favourite chais! Delicious and the flavour is wonderful
This is a nice spicy chai, just what you would expect from a chai tea. I actually like it a bit spicier.
This makes a delicious chai with well-balanced flavors. All the spices were tasted, but none dominated. Very enjoyable.
The complexity of chais is a lot of fun, almost like a different flavor in each sip if you try to notice :) ty
This is a nice blend of spices for a toasty warm tea. I like it best just with a splash of milk, but everyone else in the family likes it better with added honey as well.
I've never really tried chai tea before, but because of this tea I'm definitely a fan of it now! It also makes a pretty decent second cup, too.
Excellent chai though Is prefer it with less of a pepper bite
A bit milder than some of the other chai teas I’ve tried but still very good. I can taste the cloves but it’s not overwhelmingly.
Picky about chai. This one is great with half n half and honey.
I add sugar and half and half to this and it's a perfect blend in my opinion. Just enough spice.
I love Chai tea and have drank many different brands over the years...but this one is so smooth and flavorful! Truly one of the best I have had and I plan on purchasing again and again!
The perfect balance of spices, very aromatic, delicious.
I am a chai CRITIC. I couldn t find a basic, well rounded chai for ages. I think I finally found one! all my thumbs up. It s not too strong on any one flavor yet all of them stand out. I m super pleased. Thanks Adagio!!!
A combination of black tea and spices with great aroma and taste.
People who taste this tea for the first time love it. Been drinking for over 5 years and still like it very much
Chai tea favorite so far! Delicious spicy tea! Has been very comforting on cold days!
THE BEST TASTING CHAI I HAVE EVER TASTED, SOMETIMES I ADD MILK AND ICE, DELICIOUS!
One of my favorite chais from Adagio. I try to re-order this one often.
This Chai is really good, especially if you like that extra spice kick in your drink. If not, it's not for you. Great with sugar or milk and honey.
Love love love this blend. 😍😍😍 It has just the kick I was hoping for. I like it plain and as a chai latte with a splash of unsweetened vanilla almond milk and a pinch of sugar.
Chai is one of my favorite teas. I like the spices and aroma. It's very therapeutic.
My son loves this tea! I believe it is his favorite with a little milk and honey. A simple Chai with a nice balance of spices.
Always a favorite. Bold, rich and soothing. One of my favorite chai's of all time.
Spicy, rich, and warm classic chai. Balanced spices, good plain or with cream.
Loved this so I got it for a friend! She's not a tea drinker and loves this. I typically drink my teas plain. But with this one, I like to add in some milk and sugar. Though, it's also good plain. It's also great for using in oatmeal instead of plain water or milk
This was a very nice chai. It's spiced very well and everything you'd want from a chai.
Strong, sweet, and spicy, without being over the top. One of my favorites, and excellent with a touch of honey and some milk.
This is one of my favorites. I mix in honey and oat milk for a delicious latte.
A pretty spicy masala chai. Next time I'll cut it with a rooibos.
Great for hot tea and cold/iced tea too. I love this tea (also).
I really love the spiced flavors of this tea. It is really great on his own or with milk. This is currently my favorite spice tea.
This reminds me of the chai from Teavana, super excited to have this back in my life!
This tea has a very rich flavor; the blend of different spices is done just right.
If you want a strong, spicy chai-this is the one for you. Love it the best when it's really cold out in the mornings.
I like it a lot, but there's this slightly 'gummy' aftertaste for me sometimes. I'm going to try a different chai next time as they have many.
This chai has a good combination of spices and flavors, it recommends steeping for longer (which is more traditional for chai) but I like it with a little lighter flavor, less bitter, so I do 3-4 minutes.
Masala Chai is really good. It is a very classic flavor profile and the flavors are really balanced. It is my go-to chai. I like it plain or with milk and sugar. I find a longer steep (10 minutes) is necessary when adding milk and sugar, but around 5 or 6 is good for drinking plain.
I add a little extra to give it a little extra spicy kick. Add in a splash of soymilk & it's perfect.
Classic chai. Nice strong flavor, without being overpowering. I like it on its own or with milk/sugar.
this is by far my favorite chai of all time ever...
One of my wife's favorites. It is spicy and we cut it with varying amounts of Assam Melody to suit our mood at the time.
Drink this tea, close your own, and imagine yourself traveling to faraway places.
Heady and spicy, this tea is a great chai. Highly recommended. Will order again.
The taste of this tea is delightfully warm and inviting. The spices almost tingle on your tongue, most notably the cloves. I think you can't go wrong adding sugar, cream, or nothing at all!
