I always love a good chai tea! This one is a very good flavor and scent.
'Masala' means 'blend of spices' and 'chai' is simply 'tea.' Inviting fragrance, invigorating flavor, warm finish.

I always love a good chai tea! This one is a very good flavor and scent.
Pretty good basic chai! We always keep chai on hand as a basic tea, and Adagio's Masala Chai is definitely one of the better chai teas we've had.
I lke this one a lot and it is part of my regular rotation of day-time teas.
I’m sorry to say, because I’ve loved everything else I’ve had from Adagio, but I am not a fan of this one. I brewed it for slightly longer than the recommended time but really all I could taste was black tea and maybe a hint of the spice. I make a chai at home with powdered spices and it def has a bit of a burn, that’s something I look for in a good chai. If you like a more mild chai, you might enjoy this tea.
When I received the samples of this tea, I was excited. I opened the packet and it smelled just like a masala is supposed to. I couldn't wait to compare it to the masala chai from another loose leaf company. When I read the ingredients off the packet, I noticed discrepancies from the site, however. First, the ingredients listed on the site specify a typical distribution of ginger, cloves, cinnamon. The packet listed cloves directly after black tea. And indeed, the packet was entirely overflowing with cloves. The 'natural cinnamon flavor' was incredibly overwhelming. I steeped it according to instructions, and then I tried it. I don't think I've ever tasted loose leaf that was so artificial tasting. It barely tasted anything like chai. It was terrible in every combination of milk/cream and sugar/honey I added. I do not recommend this to anyone, and I'm sad to say that.
A bit clove heavy in the mix but amazing overall. Definitely a go to tea for me.
A well-balanced traditional chai blend that can be savored unsweetened. This blend also pairs nicely with milk.
Strong and bold, this tea is required if you love masala spices.
'Mas Masala!' cries my inner gaucho upon finishing a cup of this toro-iffic tea.
It was pretty good, but not as good as Thai chai. This was less sweet, so I'd recommend it if you like teas that aren't as sweet.
very delicious...very relaxing...perfect cup of tea
Superb! Comforting and warm, I like it with milk!
In the packet it smells just like how i think of chai. I was hesitant to brew it 10 minutes, but didn’t notice any ill effects. Has a noticeable cinnamon and clove scent, and a gentle ginger throat burn. Somehow i was caught off guard by how thin the mouthfeel was without all the sugar and milk that I probably consumed in the past. Adding mct powder and vanilla skim milk helped smooth the flavor a little, but sugar / syrup / fatty milk probably would’ve helped thicken the mouthfeel.
Very lovely and warming. The exact kind of cozy I was looking for!
Very strong, rich flavor. My go to when I am in the mood for something warming.
I LOVE this tea. Seriously. If I could give a tea 10 stars, I would! I wake up an hour before my toddler just to have a cup of this tea so I can finish it while it’s hot! It’s THAT good!!
Really good chai, especially with a splash of half and half and a teaspoon of honey. Definitely steep for at least 7 minutes for the spices to infuse the tea.
I have given up coffee entirely with this tea and had not even a whisper of a headache or coffee withdrawal. It has helped my stomach and inflammation issues, it smells and tastes divine. Spicy sweet and perfect with frothy almond milk and honey . My start to the day everyday now, Love it !
Such a great, solid chai. Usually I have it hot but I brewed it and put it over ice recently and it was really good! Usually I like my iced tea fruity but this was a nice change.
Provides great flavor that is smooth yet spicy without the harshness found in some Chai teas. It is wonderful blended with an English breakfast tea.
I got this & the Raja Oolong Chai because I've been craving a good cup of chai & I was hoping I could just lazily add milk & sugar to this. No dice. This one was way too ginger & clove heavy for my tastes. Now I'm trying to figure out my preferred spice blend & making it on the stove with an assam tea.
Very Tasty. The Ingredients are black tea, cardamom, ginger root, cloves, cinnamon bark. Perfectly blended.
One of the best chais I've had. Add the cinnamon honey and a little milk to really perfect it. A go to in this house.
Always perfect, robust in flavour, balance of spice and creamyness. I usually do a longer steep for a stronger brew, usually 10-12 minutes @200F . I made this chai for ages with 1/2 steamed and 1/2 coconut almond milk and add anise and red peppercorns. I recently changed it up a bit and used 1/2 cashew milk and 1/2 coconut almond. Steam the milk at around 150F, no higher than 160F. Perfect anytime, but a late morning favourite.
Adagio's Masala chai is a genuinely delicious chai, a wonderful combination of the traditional chai spices with a good, strong black tea. I enjoy this unflavored, with sugar, or with sugar and almond milk (I can't have dairy). This is a long-time favorite of mine. If you like chais and other spice teas, give this one a try.
Ultimate Chai. Iced or with a splash of milk - it's a treat!
My daughter liked this one so much that it mysteriously ended up in her house. 🙄
Nice tea.
A cost-effective and tasty/spicy chai. Love this with a good dollop of soymilk and (if I'm feeling like it) a touch of honey.
Do you like Masala chai? Well you'll love this tea. Super yummy. I love the color. Makes you feel magical.
This is a nice strong chai that makes a lovely chai latte. I tried it both with and without the addition of 2 sugars for some added sweetness to balance the spices and I enjoyed it both ways. Will order more.
I love chai tea and this one is a great pick-me-up. It has a wonderful spicy aroma and is very tasty.
Most delicious chai I loved drinking it with honey and oat milk yum!!
A nice blend of tea, I'd consider it a good go to tea.
On the lookout for my perfect cup of chai and this just might be it! Love this with some frothed milk for the perfect chai latte. Just the right amount of spice!
I've enjoyed the Masala Chai, especially when blended with the ceylon and lapsang souchung.
my friend gave me her recipe and it goes: measure the amount of water to use with your mug (you want it almost full), pour that in a pot and add in milk until it’s opaquely white. bring to a boil on high then turn down and add in 2 teaspoons of your masala chai (or 2 tea bags). turn it back up to med/high and let it boil again. if it’s bubbling too much turn it down or you might scald your milk. add a teaspoon of sugar and you’re done! one of my favourite homemade beverages.
This tea won me over and made me a fan of chai! It is especially good with milk and sugar.
One of my favourites. Heavy cloves, ginger, and spices. Paired great with a curry
One of my favorite chais - perfect with a little milk added in.
this sounds absolutely amazing! i love this tea so i am extremely excited to get it :)
Great if you like cloves in your chai! Which I do. But they are rather overpowering of the other flavors I enjoy in chai.
Deeply spiced. I enjoyed the sampler very much. Will order more.
By far, my favorite chai. I find I need to steep it for 15-20 minutes to get the full flavor.
Honestly one of the best chais I have ever tasted.
This is a great strong tasting chai. I prefer it with a bit of honey and half and half.
Best, for me & my daughter, with milk and sugar (she uses a lot, lol). Nice blend with a touch of cinnamon, recommend bein brewing it for the max amount of time.
This is a really nice Chai! I love it with a little sugarfree vanilla creamer - YUM
I used to love Tazo Chai from Starbucks but could never replicate the taste at home, no matter which chai blends I tried. Masala Chai hits every note perfectly: it's just the right combination of dark spices. You can easily drink it black. I like mine with a bit of honey. A note of caution - don't overstee or use more than the recommended amount of tea per cup. The taste will become very strong.
A nicely spiced chai. I do recommend steeping for at least 10 minutes since otherwise the tea is quite weak. But as long as you steep it sufficiently, it yields a satisfying cup of chai.
