China green tea with a chakra warming spice combination. Clean, refreshing and fiery flavor, soothing finish. Ommm...

I like this tea it taste good, and smell good tooš«āļøš
Dry tea smells heavily of clove and orange. I spy five whole cloves and a few orange peels among the green tea. Once brewed, the cup is a very light clear green that smells heavily of clove. When hot, it is a very mild chai that is quite clove forward. As the tea cools, more of the green tea is present, with the cloves starting to be slightly less dominant. Faint ginger heat with a hint of cardamon in the finish makes it more like a chai. The spices are more dominant when the cup is iced, especially the ginger. Green tea gives a nice freshness to the spice mix. Great for warm weather. Brewed at 180 for 3 minutes.
Brewed for 3 minutes at 180 degrees. Not quite a green, not quite a chai, not sure if I liked it. Tentatively giving this 4 stars until I can try again and hopefully increase the stars. Smooth.
The spice smells strong in this one! Unfortunately, it does not create a strong spicy brew. With honey added, it tastes almost like a light cider. I donāt detect much of a green tea taste, and itās missing the rich black tea flavor that balances a good chai. Iāll stick with my darker chai choices.
Usually prefer a good black chai, but using a green tea here makes it milder. I sampled this tea as part of the CommuniTEA May 2021 box
I love chai's and usually like them super strong this was light and refreshing and I loved it, I chugged it down in less then 10 mins. On to a second steep yum!!!
Not what I would expect from a green; not what I would expect from a chai. I drank every last drop, but Iām left wanting something a bit different.
Decent chai if you're looking for something light, but lacks the depth of black chai blends.
The spices in this blend were moderate and paired well with the green tea.
Iām a fan of chai and this green tea blend does not disappoint. The spices are perfection while the green tea lightens chai up a bit. Iām feeling zen, yet spicy. Happy Sipping!
Green and chai was a little weird at first but you get used to it.
Iām not typically a fan of green tea, or chai, so I wasnāt expecting much from this. First, I was surprised with how light color the liquor was! It smelled delightful both dry and brewed, but was much more subtle brewed. The tea itself was light, but flavorful. The spices enhance rather than overwhelm and there isnāt a single hint of grass. This was a delightful success!
I was looking forward to a good chai on this cold, wet day. This chai fell a little short for me. To be honest, I am very finicky when it comes to chai and also green teas. I like chais that are little more cinnamon forward and less clove. This tea had a nice light flavor. No grassy or vegetable water flavors from this green. Clove was the main flavor that popped with ginger lingering in the back ground. Did not taste any citrus which I think would have helped with toning down the cloves. I tried this tea plain, with honey, and then with cream. Really does not need anything, but liked it best with honey. 2nd steep was much too weak. This tea is not for me, but for others that like cloves and chais this would be a hit. Enjoy! 180Āŗ for 3 mins.
Nice lightly spiced green tea. Very smooth and a nice change from black tea chais.
I am a chai lover, and usually am turned off by greens. Too grassy for me. So i was intrigued by this blend. I found it was almost a perfect balance between the dark black chai and a green tea. I didn't notice any grassiness, but I did miss my stringer black chai notes. I steeped it exactly as the packet directed. Overall I enjoyed this !
I usually like my chai super spicy, super dark and super strong, but every once in a while I want a lighter one. I really enjoyed this more than I expected to. It has nice strong spicy flavors without the heaviness of a black. I steeped at 175° for 3.5 min and added a tsp of Adagio whipped cinnamon honey to amp up the spice. I feel like the spices are perfectly balanced. Since this is not a heavy tea I feel like I could drink this one anytime, not just when it's cold out like I tend to do with my black chai.
normally I'm not a fan of Chai and I'm super finiky about the taste of my green teas. however after adding the sugar recommended I really enjoyed this tea. it has a nice warm scent when you first open the package and while drinking the gentle taste of the green and the warming of the Chai work in tandem to create a wonderful tea to leisurely sip on.
I went through a bit of a rollercoaster with this tea. When I opened the packet, there was a strong chai scent. I really enjoy, both chai and green tea, so I was excited for this tea.
I steeped the tea according to the instructions (3 min at 180F). After steeping, I was disappointed because the tea took on an oversteeped green tea flavor. I generally only steep my green tea for 1 minute, but I wanted to give the chai spices a chance, so I went for the full 3 minutes. I added a little bit of sugar, which helped remove the bitterness of the green tea. Suddenly this tea tasted great!
This is a great, bright tasting green tea chai! Perfect for rainy spring days.
Lovely warm spicy aroma that brews up to a spicy tea where the cloves really shine. (3 mins @175°F)
This is one weird chai. I'll describe it as Portland, Oregon weird (if you have been there). The taste is good though green tea with chai spices is an interesting combo. When adding half and half, the liquid color looks weird. I'd describe it as a greenish beige. As a chai in general, it passed the test with me.
Good chai in general. I prefer a good black chai in general, but no complaints on this alternative!
A mellow chai, with lovely spices that play well with the green tea. Good chai for when you don't have time for a full milk and sugar chai.
Decent chai. Different from the usual black chais I drink frequently- lighter tasting, but the same cinnamon, ginger and cardamom that I love!
This is a very lightly spiced chai tea. Most chai tea is black and very spicy. This was a nice change of pace. I can see me sipping this in the afternoon when I need a little boost.
Upon opening the package I thought this chai was going to have too much of a ginger taste. After brewing I found the ginger to mellow. I did add some rock sugar and a little milk to bring out the flavors more.
This is a really good tea to drink without sweetener or cream. The spices come through beautifully but are not overpowering.
This is a really great to you, I love chai though. So delicious
Smooth, light chai, but the green tea gives it a mild odd, grassy undertone.
Received in the communitea packet. I'm not a fan of green teas, and not normally a fan of most chais. This one got 2 stars because the chai wasn't as spicy as others. Still nothing I would ever want to drink though.
To be fair, Iām not a huge fan of chais. I like my teas uncomplicated to a certain degree, so I think the amount of doctoring chais need just puts me off. Iām a lover of unadulterated greens, so I also balked at the idea of a green chai. Itās just incongruous in my mind. But when I opened my packet, the smell was phenomenal and my serving for CommuniTEA was ample with two big orange peels and lots of ginger mixed in with the green leaves. It looked and smelled delectable! I thought, ok, well, MAYBE this will win you over. However, when brewed the flavors kinda let me down. If Iām going to chai, I want to chai hard. I could have had more SPICE and more GINGER and just MORE! I added a touch of honey and liked that addition but I donāt think it saved my overall impression. I couldnāt bring myself to add milk to green tea. Sorry, not sorry. I think this is a good tea, especially for a certain palate, but I just couldnāt hook into what it was laying down. Happy Sipping!
Chai spice aroma
Sip, Sniff, Sip, Sniff and repeat
Spices in the green
Or
One day chai got bored.
Being blended the same way!
Same old, same old, meh.
I will do something!
I will hang with green today!
And green chai was born.

Lovely delicate chai tea! Sometimes, the black chais are a little heavy, but this one is perfectly spiced and light. I will need to order more of this!
Iām not usually a fan of green teas, but when it combines with chai I am enjoying it.
One of my favorite chai teas. The spices are a great blend with the green tea.
Lovely chai scent on opening my CommuniTea packet. Brewed at 180, 3 minutes. The green tea has a nice light taste...I did not detect any grassy taste (which is a turn off for me). But I find I prefer chai made with black tea. Really missed the stronger tea taste.
Some days I like a really intense chai, and others I like a softer one. This is a soft chai, delicate and enjoyable. It's a nice cup to relax with!
Just meh for me. Chai flavors are best suited for black teas, in my opinion.
It was an interesting twist on a green tea but I prefer the white chai. Spices were mild and adding milk watered down all the flavor.
I didn't taste much with today's. Which is a bit of a bummer considering how much i love ginger. I think i might of fluffed up and underseeped/overseeped it. Legit don't know. I think maybe down the line if im feeling adventurous i'll try this bad boi again.
Iām not into the chai green. A good chai I like to add cream to, and I donāt like adding cream to greens.
This reminds me of something I might enjoy in December. To me it taste like Christmas. I steeped it for three minutes.
I love this tea
Will buy this tea again. All the warm, spicy flavors of black chai teas with more of the healthy antioxidants. If you are thinking about getting āSpiced Greenā, get this one instead.
The fragrances of orange, ginger, cardamon and cloves is strong, both before and after steeping. This is a very flavorful cup of chai tea that can be enjoyed throughout the day without worrying about the caffeine. The spice flavors are sharp and strong.
Underwhelming. The flavours were quite weak even when steeped longer than recommended-- although it is notable that the bag says 1 teaspoon per cup, while the online page recommends two. In my brews, the cinnamon overwhelmed the other spices and the green tea flavour itself.
I personally think Adagio's 'Spiced Green' and 'White Chai' teas are better takes on the same concept.
I love iced chai and this fits the bill. Great hot too. I like to add a bit of this when I brew Chili Lime Green. It tames the kick without ruining the kick...does that make sense?
I love Chai teas and this green Chai is a nice change from the Marsala Chai that I usually drink.
Somehow always tastes soapy to me, and I've tried it several times. I WANT to like this, because I like chai and green tea, but somehow it always tastes off.
A nice traditional chai alternative. Itās softer and more mild and could be had in a few food combos where chai would be a little off putting. Definitely nice with just a bit of honey. Not something Iād reach for regularly but nice to have in the rotation. A smooth and lightly spiced relaxing drink. - I had a bit of bloating after this, not sure why, could be sensitive to the ānatural spice flavoringā ? Unsure.. all the other ingredients I have often and have had before. but now I cannot repurchase which is sad.
