Smelled SO GOOD when I opened the bag! It was a great cup of tea!! LOVED it and will defiantly be getting more!! Great with a little nondairy creamer...yum!!

Personally, I prefer a stronger chai, but this is nice when you don't want as much caffeine as black tea.

★★★★☆

This is a very mellow chai, almost like a watered-down version of masala chai - but not in a bad way. The green tea flavor is there, but subtle beneath the spicy notes. If you like chai but don't want an overly powerful spice punch, this is the one for you.

★★★★★

I'm not usually a huge chai fan, but this tea is really good.

★★★★☆

One of the better loose leaf green chai's out there. Not as spicy as I normally like.

★★★★☆

A nice solid chai done with green tea. Very nice!

★★★★★

I LOVE chai. I love chai in its spicier forms as well as its more subtle nuances. This combines my favorite tea (green) with the chai spices and makes for a beautiful cup of tea! It is gorgeous and beautiful and I love it! :D Bravo!

I love all things chai, but I think I prefer it in black/white/rooibos form. Green just has a fresher flavor that doesn't play quite as nicely for me with the spiciness.

I'm glad I was sitting down when I drank this. It's so lovely and warm. The spice in it is perfectly matched with the green tea. All I added was a bit of sugar to sweeten it. The tea sings without anything else.

★★★★☆

I like this best when blended with chocolate tea. Still delicious on its own though.

★★★★★

This tea has a great flavor unlike the traditional green tea. It is a great mix.

★★★★★

ALSO AMAZING TEA WOW SO GOOD Used recommended timeandtemp.

★★★★★

Very smooth and mild tea, great for mornings. Nice subtle grassy flavour with hints of spice, goes great with a touch of honey and milk.

★★★★☆

I like tea. It has a nice blend of cinnamon, ginger, and other chai spices. If you are looking for strong green tea flavor, look elsewhere. I can barely tell it is a green tea. I wasn't looking for a green tea so I don't mind. While I really enjoy this tea, I like the rooibos vanilla chai a little more.

★★★★★

I love chai, and this green chai is really good. Great on a nice fall day like today.

★★★☆☆

Not bad, but I found the cinnamon flavor a little too dominant. I like chai blends to be a little more balanced.

★★★★☆

this tea is a nice, milder chai. A nice change from a clisic green.

★★★★★

This tea has just the right hint of spices that it is not overwhelming. It's a great pick me up on a chilly day!

★★★★★

Light tea, not a strong flavor but overall very enjoyable.

★★★★★

I had to give this chai 2 chances. The first time I wasn't really a fan, but the second time I brewed it I REALLY liked it! Nom nom! A favorite for sure!

★★★★☆

I enjoyed the spicy flavor of this one. It has that vegetable, earthy, green tea undertone, with a huge slap of pepper and spices at the forefront. It's not one I could drink every day, but nonetheless a winner all around.

★★★★★

This is a really nicely spiced tea - neither the green tea nor the spices are too over-powering.

★★★★☆

A very, very mild chai, but a really nice change if you're looking for something different - I own several black chai blends, a chai oolong, and a chai mate, but the green chai manages to stand out/be nice in its own way. It reminds me a bit of the spiced green - it's a bit stronger, but still spiced in much the same way - and again is very much a chai for people who aren't looking for a super-strong, super-spicy chai. (Adagio's chais as a class tend to lack that strong warm spiciness, and if you want a strong spicy chai your best bet is to either get the Zoe blend in the Firefly set or to wander over to Teavana and spend your money on their samurai chai/chai mate blend.) But this is a unique and interesting chai - the green tea is a neat twist on things, and again, the green chai makes for a nice addition to a blend if you want to spice up a green or white tea.

★★★☆☆

nice spicy flavor.. its not a preferred cup for me because i like my chais with black tea. it was worth trying though.

What a great chai! It is very flavorful and well spiced.

first of all, I'm not a fan of green tea. however, this tea though? this has become a favourite. it's spicy and perfect!

This is a surprisingly good chai, which despite its green tea base, does not become bitter if steeped longer at the right temperature. It may feel weak if steeped for only a few minutes. The flavor is light and mellow, however the cinnamon seems to predominate over the other spices.

Strong and spicy- I drink it with almond milk and some sweetener

★★★★★

I love traditional Chai tea, but this is a nice alternative to the milk and sugar-laden usual.

An excellent, light little chai. It has a nice blend of spices and it's great that it is a green tea instead of a black one.

this tea is pretty good! very relaxing and great with sugar! i look forward to drinking it at night!

★★★★☆

This is a much milder chai than my usual, but it's a welcome change! It's nice to be able to still have chai even though it's roughly 800 degrees outside. The spices lend themselves well to the green tea base.

A delicious tea for a cold day. The spices are present strongly in both flavor and smell and the green tea makes it light and a wonderful breakfast tea for when colder weather comes.

I used this tea in a blend of mine and it turned out to be fantastic, so I decided to get a sample of it to try it out. Honestly that was one of the best decisions I have ever made. This tea still keeps to it's chai name without overpowering the green tea with spice. It's warm and comforting and perfect for a cold day, or any day where you don't feel your best. It'll definitely be a staple in my pantry for such occasions.

This was the first green tea I tried from adagio, and I wasn't disappointed! The spices in this chai were lovely, and light. I think I simply don't care for green teas, unfortunately. But that won't keep me from happily finishing the sample! I would have liked it spicier, but that's just personal preference. Honey works very well in this tea.

★★★★★

My husband loves chai. I don't care for it. We find we can share this and both be happy. The chai definitely overpowers the green, but it isn't as spicy as normal chai is.

★★★☆☆

I did not care this tea much. It tasted like a chai but it lacked the robust flavor I have come to expect from most chais.

5 min steep · 175°F

★★★★★

It is perfectly light and spiced, not overpowering or too strong. I adore light chais that dont taste watered down and this delivers exactly that. Perfect with a little cream, no honey or sugar.

The smell in the bag is great and in the cup it reminds me of fresh gingersnaps. The flavor, though, I thought a bit lacking. The cinnamon was a bit overpowering in relation to the other flavors, but overall it was just sort of weak. I love that it's light, and it is a bit tasty. It's just not great. I used a small amount of honey. I was on the fence in between three and four stars, but rounded down because as a chai it was relatively boring. For me, I suppose, a good chai just isn't meant to be 'light'.

Very delicious, spicy chai! I'm usually not a great fan of chai tea, but this one is mellow enough to work for me. There's a kind of clovey, gingery taste to it, which is very nice!

★★★★★

This is my new favorite chai. The spices aren't covered up by the tea flavor (this is the case for some black tea chais) which makes this tea amazing! So spicy and great for a cool day.

I wouldn't mind the chai to be more spicy, but it was still really good. I plan on experimenting by adding mint and other spices.

I really love this chai tea. It is very flavorful and aromatic. I followed the brewing time and temp as recommended and it came out perfectly.

I absolutely ADORE this tea! It smells like homemade gingersnaps (with LOTS of cloves) with just a hint of citrus, and it tastes just as great when brewed. It's smooth and a bit milder than other chais, making it perfect for people who haven't had much experience with chai and it has less caffeine, so it makes it a delicious nighttime cuppa. Fans of Adagio's spiced green should give this one a try. It's lovely on its own or, if you want to sweeten things up a bit, add a little bit of honey.

★★★★★

The green chai and the spiced green from Adagio have become two of my very favorite spiced teas ever. I love them both so much. A little bit of either just adds brightness and character to whatever it touches. I wish I were a little better at distinguishing which spices dominate which chai recipes, since I'm sure that would be useful to myself and others... but though I'm not remarkably sophisticated at picking out the individual spices, I *think* this is quite gingery.
Anyway, whatever the exact combo, it's spritely and energetic, and the generous allotment of orange peels in this mix just adds to that overall impression of happy, spicy brightness. A very cheering cup of tea.

This is just okay. I love Adagio's spiced green and would recommend it over this.

★★★★★

This is the first chai tea I've been able to drink by itself, no cream or sugar added, and I love it. The spices are balanced wonderfully against the green tea, with a kick of clove at the end that warms is up nicely. I would definitely recommend this tea, and will be re-ordering it again very soon.

★★★★★

I love this tea! It's a mild chai flavor, but it is even better than I would have imagined. It smells like orange peels and spice when you open the bag, and that is exactly what it tastes like. spicy, sweet and a little bit savory.

★★★★☆

I'm not usually a fan of green teas, but this is a really nice tea. I really enjoy it as a lighter more mild chai than usual. It's great when I want something light

My favorite chai! The clove flavor is very strong. I really like the green tea in this one. Brew it a little longer than suggested.
