Nicely balanced spices, very warming, but the green tea makes for a weak base. Not that it was watery or underbrewed, but I think green tea in general is too light of body to carry chai spices. The good flavor of said spices gets four stars, otherwise this would just be an average tea.

★★★★☆

The green chai tea smells and tastes great, can't recommend it enough!

★★★★★

This is a great tea to drink during the cold winter months!! The chai flavoring is perfect, but can be overwhelming if you brew it for too long. There's no need to add any sugar or milk.

★★★★★

mom loved it! ordered her the tea of the month club for Christmas present and she's loving all the teas so far! Thanks!!! Awesome gift!

Clean and bright with subtle spices. Great morning cup

★★★★☆

The chai in this is a little overpowering, but otherwise it is a really good tea.

★★★★★

Ooh, I really like this chai, the green tea flavor is really prominent.

★★★☆☆

So far this has been one of the few teas that I haven't been absolutely crazy about. I typically love green chai but this one lacked a bit of the flavor that I normally enjoy with chai. It could simply be because I tried the masala chai first but the green chai is not as packed with flavor.

Made a very nice morning chai latte. It's a bit lighter than other chais in spice. I prefer this one with some sugar and milk over plain.

It packs a bit too strong of a ginger punch for me, but it's still a really good spice tea.

The Chai taste is really nice but be careful not to over brew or the green tea will be bitter and I add a little rock sugar to the brew.

Delicious! Reminds me of Spice Green only with that extra kick of clove that tickles your taste buds.

★★★☆☆

I'm not a big fan of chai tea but I figured I would give green chi a go. This is better in my opinion if you drink it plain. Otherwise the normal chi is best if you mix it with mild or cream.

I love all things chai, and this is no exception. Bit more citrus, and lighter on the palate than other chais, but still very very tasty. :)

★★★★★

This tea is really enjoyable. It has an almost sweet scent with hints of cinnamon. The taste is delicate and delicious. It has a very slight spice to it. I feel like this tea would do very well iced.

This green chai produced a decent taste, but is not among my favorites. I didn't feel like the chai flavors mixed well with the green tea.

★★★★★

It's green. It's chai. What's not to like! The chai really warms up this green. It's unusual but quite good!

Updating my review to great. The more I drink this tea the more I like it. I like being able to have a nice green tea with a bit of a kick. It's a green that wakes you up!

★★★★★

One of our go to chai teas now! It has a nice fresh/crisp taste.

★★★★★

I was not expecting that I would like this tea, but I did. It was light but full of flavor. I will be ordering this again.

★★★★☆

I liked how light this was in comparison to black chai blends, which can be a little heavy-tasting. It was a little weak at 3 minutes, so I added some ginger syrup, which helped. I might steep for 4 minutes in the future.

★★★★☆

Nice, with a very delicate flavor.
And while that's perfectly appropriate for green tea I just wish there was a bit... More. This is a chai, after all.
Still. A good cup of tea all the same.

this is the nest chai tea ever I really really love it

★★★★★

i love green chai tea. it's combines my two favorite kinds of tea and adagio's blend does not disappoint!

★★★☆☆

For a chai, it is light, almost delicate, which is perhaps the point of a 'green' chai, but it simply didn't pack enough punch for my tastes. Perhaps it would go well in a blend, but on its own, it's not that special.

★★★★☆

I'm not a huge fan of green tea, I'm more of a black tea drinker. However, because I love chai most of all, I decided to give this tea a taste just to make sure I wasn't hugely missing out! For a chai this is pretty fruity (which you can thank the orange peels in the mix for that). It's very light but it does still have detectable spice. Pretty unique tasting for a green tea I'd say. I liked it, I would drink it again if I was drinking a green tea or wanted something with a slight hint of orange spice.

★★★★☆

The spice was weak, but if you're not looking for a punch-in-the-face chai, this is definitely a good tea. Special place in my heart for green chai. <3

★★★★☆

Pretty good. Not as spectacular as the black chai teas, but better than I expected.

★★★★★

I was looking for a way to make my green tea less grassy and the chai was the great way to go. It tastes so spicy and warm and inviting. Super good!

★★★★☆

Milder than any of the other chais I've tried, but that was nice for a change.

★★★★★

Bought this for my mother to make her a Christmas sampler and she LOVES it. It fills the entire kitchen with its gorgeous aroma, and if you're a green tea fan and a chai fan, you'll love it. This is not a subtle blend!

★★☆☆☆

Not my favorite blend of flavors. I do enjoy traditional chai with a black tea base, but green just didn't seem to mesh well with the spices.

★★★☆☆

This tea is light and enjoyable, but disappointing to me. The green tea itself and the citrus notes shine through while cardamom, clove, and other spices you expect in chai are no more than a footnote. The rooibos chai in the chai sampler was disappointing for the same reason, so if you're a discriminating chai drinker who likes to taste the spices, I would stay away from this.

★★★★★

An amazing tea, though it doesn't take well to loads of sugar like other chais. When adding sugar, make certain that the flavor of the green tea and the bite of the spices balance each other well. It tastes surprisingly good unsweetened but becomes all too like the masala chai when too much sugar is added.

I have always been afraid to try a 'green' chai, it just didn't sound very good. But this teas was absolutely wonderful! Great for a blustery, winter day!

★★★☆☆

Better than typical bagged chais, which I can't stand to drink plain as most of those are heaviliy cloved. I am looking for a chai I don't mind plain so I can prepare it at my desk at work. this was okay (not too clove-y) but I still prefer herbal blends as a plain hot tea. I would like to try this with milk, which is my preferred method of chai consumption. It would probably get a rating boost if I tried it as a latte.

★★★☆☆

It doesn't have a bad flavor, but it's pretty weak. Good if you like very light tea. I probably won't order it again.

A nice light chai tea, with undertones of cinnamon and spice. Warm and soothing.

★★★★☆

A bit weaker than the other chai's (probably because of the green), but with fruity flavor along with your typical spice.

★★★★★

I love chai's, but Green chai is high on my list, this one is so spicy and great with a bit of milk and sugar.

★★★★★

The best green chai teas I've had have been from Adagio and this is no exception. 5/5

★★★★★

There's something classic 'me' in this tea (perhaps the accents of both cloves and ginger), while having a Christmas flavoring (cloves and oranges make me think of Christmas). The green tea addition is beautiful.

Wish I had read the site first...in steamed milk, it does in fact only take 5 minutes to brew. In water, it took me over 10 minutes, and I had to add milk.

★★★☆☆

Light and smooth and clear, with just a hint of spice from the chai, this tea is okay, but neither here nor there. However, it would be very useful for blending if someone needed a chai that did not over power the other teas in the blend.

10 min steep · 190°F

★★★☆☆

This isn't quite as strong as I like my chai tea to be. My favorite of the chai options is masala, by far. This has more subtle flavor, that is still quite good but not quite what I was expecting for a chai. It's very good if you're not a fan of stronger tea, but still enjoy the hints of spice.

★★★★☆

This could be better with less clove and more green tea. I like the cinnamon and I like the ginger, but clove is so strong and this has too much. Cutting it with honey does help, and this is still a good tea.

★★★★☆

I gave this as a gift to someone who likes other green chai varieties, and she really liked this.

★★★☆☆

This tea wasn't terrible but its definitely not my favorite. The spices completely overtake the tea. Brewing at three minutes like the instructions say produces a tea about 3 shades darker than water and all spice. Not something I want to order more of

★★☆☆☆

Not my favorite. I don't get the 'greeniness' that I thought I would.

★★★★★

Another great chai from Adagio. Well- balanced, smooth cup, but with enough spice to know that it's chai. The tea in this blend is a low grade broken leaf, so while you won't get a complex green tea flavor, you will get a nice classic grassy flavor.

This is a wonderful tea for cold winter nights. Just spicy enough to be noticeable, but pleasant enough to drink on its own. This tea is perfect either with or without sweetener.

Again, one of my favorites for many years. Mixed with others it brings a calming flavor that's always enjoyable. On it's own it's a real flavor to get moving in the mornings. Not bitter. A very enjoyable blend of spiciness.
