I adore the Masala Chai, this does not disappoint, great spicy layers of flavor. I always drink with milk.
This is a nice chai tea. The turmeric adds a different twist.
I fine this tea is ok. Turmeric is not one of my favorite spices so it seemed to over power the tea.
I have not tried many turmeric teas, but this is my favorite one
Honestly not entirely my favourite, though I might need to do some brewing adjustments to be sure of that. I typically love turmeric and chai and I have made my own versions of this tea before purchasing this one, but this came on as very strong to me and I’m not sure quite why. I believe I brewed it at or around 210° F and used two teaspoons of tea, and added cream and honey. By no means horrible but still not quite the flavour I was expecting or wanting. I may update this review after I play around with the recipe a bit however! Perhaps I simply wasn’t in the mood for such a strong tea that day.
Strong, earthy, and spicy. I love the punch of ginger.
I didn't care for this tea. The anise and fennel flavors overpowered the rest of the tea. Since I don't like either of those flavors, it was tough for me to get through the sample.
For a tumeric tea, it's pretty good. Nice flavor, tumeric isn't overpowering.
This was a pretty good tea. The flavor was nice, not spicy, but warming. I would have preferred a bit more flavor, but for the health benefits, it's a great tea. I added a bit of soy milk and honey on the second try and liked it better.
You can't go wrong with spicy Chai tea that includes Turmeric. I like this one before bed.
I was expecting a richer flavor. I need to keep making it and possibly try with milk to bring out the flavors
I like the overall flavor. There is just enough turmeric to give it that earthy flavor. However, the turmeric powder sort of accumulates on the side of the cup. I don't know much about turmeric but I know that the root looks a bit similar to ginger. I wonder if larger dried pieces of turmeric could improve the tea.
Good chai—the flavor is nothing too complex but it’s an easy drinking tea.
Was looking for a nicely spiced turmeric tisane without caffeine. This fits the bill nicely. It doesn’t blow me away but is a very good option to get some health benefits of turmeric in a tasty way.
Probably my favorite turmeric tea so far. It s blended well so mo one thing is overpowering. Good with milk and honey.
Golden Turmeric Chai may be the best bedtime tea for me. It gives relief for arthritis and provides a sleepytime feeling when I add milk. It is very warming.
Beware, this is very spicy! Not hot spicy, aromatic spicy, but you ll still feel the gingery burn as it goes down! I personally like this but also can t drink but so much at once. Might be milder as a latte, provided it doesn t curdle milk.
Excellent, compared to other turmeric chai's I've had I'd say this is near the top of that list
I really enjoyed the spices in this one and the turmeric is a nice earthy bonus.
One of my new favorites will definitely be buying more!
Very strong flavor, but not bad. The turmeric was a little overpowering for me, but my husband really liked it. Turmeric is definitely the dominant flavor, with subtle spice notes underneath.
This tea is amazing, I am a real big tea drinker but I can say this one is my favorite!!!
This is a really interesting chai. The overwhelming flavors are cinnamon and ginger and it’s a bit spicy. Great decaf afternoon warm-up tea!
Initially I liked this one, but after several tastings I decided it wasn t for me. I can only describe the aftertaste as that of a Chinese restaurant. adagio has other better offerings of chai teas, but it s worth a try if you re curious.
The spice in this one is STRONG. There is also that underlying earthiness from the turmeric, somewhat reminiscent of dirt. Definitely needs some honey and some type of milk or cream to calm it all down and taste more than just spicy dirt (which I do not mean as a negative). I went with oatmilk, which also gave it a nutty richness that balanced out the flavors very nicely. This blend is definitely warming from the inside out... now if it would only actually get colder here...
Interesting drink. not one I would reorder I think but not one I am driven to give the rest away because I didn't like it. makes an decent latte though so worth the try.
This is a tasty tea blend and I feel good knowing it has turmeric in it. Turmeric tea is supposed to have some good health benefits, so I will be buying more!
Spiceee WAterrr This is some spicee waterr ouch needs milky because of the spicee
This is one of the best herbal teas I've ever had - if you like turmeric, you'll love this. The flavors blend really well together, and the peppercorns add the perfect amount of spice. I look forward to having a cup every evening before bed.
I don't love this one. It's okay, but I prefer Turmeric Bliss.
Another mild, tasty flavor. The best part yet, not only does it taste great, especially with a splash of 1/2 n' 1/2, I noticed my slight aches and pains were diminished!! Could be!?!
While I think this is a tea many will reach for, it s one I ll probably pass to a friend. I think its got a good amount of spice like some of the other blends I like, but there s this feeling of it being kind of... missing something? With double ginger you get that peppercorn and ginger zing, with a lot of spice blends, you get orange, etc. This one is warming and spicy, but not my favorite of those types of teas.
The Golden Turmeric Chai is a lovely and vibrant blend. It is sweet and spicy - a happy dance on your tongue! It delivers a strong and warming chai flavor, in fact, the first two times I felt the recommended amount per cup was a bit strong for me, but I have since cut back on the amount of the blend I put in my infuser. I mix water and milk to smooth out the cup. It is very satisfying and gives you that cozy feeling inside. I m also happy to have a turmeric tea blend that is so clean in my cup! I don t recommend a second steeping of the blend, as it tends to be both significantly more bitter and less sweet. Love the ginger, cinnamon, and of course, the pepper and turmeric. The addition of fennel is a nice touch too. I like that occasional anise-like string that comes through the flavor. If you like chai, this is a very nice cup.
This tea was a bit too bold for my liking. I found that the flavor mellowed quite a bit once it cooled down and I enjoyed it more once cooled down.
Very well balanced and clean natural tea. It’s being good substitute for coffee. Gives me lots of energy!
Smells wonderful and has a lovely flavor but takes a lot of honey to balance out the spicy burn.
Terrific blend to add to milk or a milk substitute for a wonderful cold weather drink. A little on the sharp side so I like to add a sweetener like, believe it or not, maple syrup. With almond milk - delightful!
I love this blend! the spice of both compliments each nicely.
Spicy and golden, I can be generous with the scooping without overwhelming my tea with bitterness
not my favorite, but that is just personal preference!
I love the flavors of tumeric, ginger and pepper. Nice tea for after dinner with a touch of honey.
This is so spicy and lovely! It's my favorite tea for relaxing in the evening.
Yum! That is about the best thing I can say about any tea!
Love this tea! Very soothing, good iced or hot, excellent with coconut milk as a latte
I did not care for this tea. Didn't like the peppercorns.
good tea - turmeric adds interest, is not overbearing
Tasted like chai. I didn't taste the turmeric. It was good. It did turn my reusable tea bags orange or yellow, though..
I drink this one daily, usually in the afternoon, when I don't want any more caffeine. It's delicious with raw honey and almond milk.
Lovely spicy blend, with slightly pungent undertones that are nothing like a classic tea, yet strangely addictive. I like it best in a white cup, so I can see the lovely golden color (the first time I made it in an orange cup, which hid the color entirely)
'This one has promise' this is a quote from my wife. I will revise later. Just got a couple more pounds, that alone putsit in the 5 range.
