This was not as expected. I got it for a friend who likes mate, chai and coffees. He didn t think it was strong enough.
Great flavor, lots of spice. Perfect for a cold winter morning.
This is a good tea, it would be a great with a little less cloves so the other flavors could be more easily tasted. It's good with cream and honey (I mix a teaspoon of this with a teaspoon of Jump Start).

Love this tea as an alternative to caffeinated chai. It’s heavy on the cardamom in both scent and flavor, so skip if you’re not a fan of cardamom!
Yummy yum yum. It tastes good with water but way better steeped on the stove in milk and sugar. Did I say yum?
This tea smells amazing but it was a bit disappointing on the tasting front. I will try to steep it longer to see if I get a better result.
this is by far my favorite chai tea from adagio. my whole family is addicted.
It s spicy and sweet, but overall a similar tea to that of most of the chai teas. I like it for a change from the astringency of the camellia sinensis. Here I just get pure spice flavors.
I used the iced tea pouches here and it was a smooth spiced cup of iced tea! Loved it!
I enjoyed it, but it s not my favorite. Like others, I enjoy black tea better as a base for Chai. This has a strong clove flavor, which I liked over the usual 'tons of cinnamon' in a spiced tea.
I really enjoy mate teas, so I was excited to try the chai version. It smells incredible, but the taste just wasn't what I was hoping for. Can't put my finger on what note is missing or uber-present that I'm desiring. I am glad they offer the trial sizes so you can try before buying large portion.
This tea is full of spicy flavor. It's a great tea to wake you up in the morning
Holy cloves Batman! This stuff is earthy and energizing, I just wish it has a little more cardamom or something other than clove. It does definitely wake me up though.
A bit heavy on the cloves, needs some sweetening. I think a spot of cream would have been nice (unfortunately skim milk didn't work well!)
I was skeptical about this tea, but I found that I enjoy the blend of chai spices and toasty/nutty flavor.
I blend this with oriental spice and it makes a great cozy cup with cream.
An afternoon zoom without the coffee doom. A little exotic is always a good thing.

Pretty good with a decent heat. The mate does change the base notes up a bit from place tea. You the the more woodsy taste of mate underneath.

This is one of my favorites. I ordered a sample size but will definitely be ordering more.
A little clove heavy for my taste. Had to add some grated cinnamon and steep with a cinnamon stick to help balance out the clove flavor. Rating solely on personal preference. We actually steeped in in 50/50 milk and water and it was delicious with a little sugar added.

Love this with milk! I’ve enjoyed it most with hemp milk.

This is an excellent mate chai. It has a very spicy and toasted flavor. And quite astringent. This mixes very well with soy to make chai lattes.
The Gaucho Mate Chai tea is just o.k. Not the usual chai flavor.
It's a really good chai tea. Then again, I haven't had complaints about any of their chai teas yet! Add a bit of creamer to it and you're good to go!
If you are in to a pop in the face with cardamom, menthol, eucalyptus... Then this is your tea/chai
This Chai is fantastic. I'd say it's a very well rounded chai. I suggest adding almond milk. The milk helps bring out all the spices and flavors.
Definitely recommend this one. Will be ordering much more of this.

This was the first mate that I've tried. It was very good when paired with the chai flavors. The aroma and taste was pleasant and spicy.
I’m not sure how I missed this blend, since I love spicy chai and earthy mate, but I’m glad this tea find me. The masala spices shine while the toasted mate provides an earthy, subtle foil rather than the bolder counterpoint of a black tea.

The strong clove scent put me off at first, but after I sat down to drink it I was hooked!
I haven't had many mates, so it's nice to try this. For me, not quite to the level of a black chai tea, but it's good. Very well-spiced and suitably comforting on this chilly and cloudy day.
I don’t like this at all. I don’t like mates or any kind of chai so it was a double whammy. My husband the coffee drinker liked it though.
Love this one. Very earthy and homey. It's like being snuggled up with a nice warm blanket next to a fire on a cold night. Perfect with just a touch of sugar though I love the versatility that it's also great iced as a latte.
Has a pleasant spiciness that tingles on my tongue, mixes well with the chai flavor. Just not my thing, but good for what it is. I could maybe see blending this with a citrusy tea blend.

Kinda like the Samurai Chai Mate from Teavana! I mixed it with the Raja Oolong Chai to mimic the Maharajah/Samurai blend they sold :)
